Chapter 1205 The Chu Family Makes a Move

Ye Fan's words reverberated in the room.

Lei San nodded and never brought up the request of allowing his son to join the Green Dragon Force again.

That was the end of the farce.

Ye Fan had his hands folded behind his back.

The members of the Green Dragon Force bowed deeply and replied in unison. "We thank Instructor Chu for his blessings. We will take his words to heart. Unless we have no other choice, we will not unleash the Five-Point Attack."

"Good. You should be on your way. It's time to settle your grudge. I will be here awaiting your triumphant return," said Ye Fan with a faint smile as he nodded and waved at Lu Tian-He and the Green Dragon Force.

The wind rushed past them with a roar. In the distance, one could hear a stream sing.

Beyond the city gates of Yunzhou, the members of the Green Dragon Force fell onto their knees and kowtowed to the man who was sending them off. Their heads thudded on the ground three loud times. "The Green Dragon Force won't let Instructor Chu down."

"We won't return from Jiangbei unless we win the contest!"

"We will return as champions!"

Their voices rose to the heavens in unison, their loudly proclaimed promise lingering in the air long after they had spoken.

Ye Fan watched as the Green Dragon Force headed off and in the direction of Jiangbei to participate in the National Special Troops Contest.

They weren't fighting for fame or riches. They were fighting to settle a personal grudge.

They were going to let everyone know that the Green Dragon Force whom everyone had trampled upon like losers and good-for-nothings had transformed into a true dragon!

"Mr Chu, are you really going to let them travel to Jiangbei alone? They're just children. They know nothing of the world out there and how to deal with other people. They wouldn't know the consequences of their actions until it's too late. I'm worried..." Li Er stared worriedly down the road as he stood next to Ye Fan.

He was well aware that for a martial artist, danger lurked behind every corner.

In order to earn fame and glory, every martial artist had to risk his life!

safety.

"Why are you worried? I created and trained the Green Dragon Force personally. I taught them the Green Dragon Technique so that they may defend themselves and the Five-Point Attack so that they may take their enemies down. I can say with confidence that there are few that can rival the Green Dragon Force. They are safe no matter where they go. All you have to do is to go home and wait patiently for news of their victory," said Ye Fan coolly as his confident laughter rippled across the skies.

Ye Fan returned home.

He was in the midst of reading the Book of Celestial Cloud and getting himself better acquainted with the Invoke the Celestial Sky Formation when his phone rang suddenly.

Ye Fan looked down. It was Han.

The day that they storm the Chu family was fast approaching. As a precautionary measure, Ye Fan had instructed Han not to contact him unless he absolutely had to.

Without any hesitation, Ye Fan answered the call.

"Han, what's wrong? Did something happen?" asked Ye Fan immediately.

"Yes, Young Master. There's been a large-scale deployment of martial artists recently. It seems like the Chu family is up to something. I'm worried that the Chu family might be planning an attack against the Young Master. Please be careful." Han's voice was filled with worry.

Ye Fan frowned. "A large-scale deployment of martial artists?"

After a long moment of deliberation, he shook his head.

China is being guarded by War God Castle and the six pillars of the nation. The Chu family will draw unnecessary attention from War God Castle if they send such a large group of martial artists after me. The six pillars of the nation aren't to be trifled with. They won't allow these martial artists to cross the border. The Chu family's men may find War God Castle waiting for them at the border. They won't have the chance to step foot into Jiangdong at all. No matter how foolish my uncle may be, he's not going to try and kill me this way. If he wants to kill me, he'll have one or two of his men infiltrate China and assassinate me."

Han froze momentarily. "Young Master, are you saying that the Chu family's recent deployment has nothing to do with you at all?"

Ye Fan nodded. "I believe so. They probably have some other objective. Any updates on Chu Sect? Has its sect leader returned?"

"Young Master, I was going to update you on this matter. The leader of Chu Sect returned to the sect a few days ago and appears to be staying put in the sect."

The look on Ye Fan's face darkened.

"So, the sect leader is back then?" murmured Ye Fan. His tone betrayed his caution and wariness towards Chu Sect's leader.

Ye Fan's grudge lay with the Chu family. It was personal and had nothing to do with the other two families that made up Chu Sect.

That didn't mean that he didn't have to worry about their interfering with his personal fight with the Chu family when he stormed the Chu family with his army of martial artists.

The leader of Chu Sect currently ranked first in the Sky Ranking and was one of the most powerful martial artists in the world.

Despite how powerful Ye Fan was, he wasn't confident that he could win a fight against this powerful martial artist.

Han had told him that Chu Sect's leader had been away for a year. Ye Fan had thanked the stars then. That had meant one enemy fewer whom he would have to fight.

But Chu Sect's leader was back.

This was hardly good news. Worry swelled inside Ye Fan.

The information that Han had access to was severely limited. Ye Fan did not question him further and instead ended the call.

The look of worry in Ye Fan's eyes remained after the call.

The news of Chu Sect's leader's return was like a storm casting a shadow in Ye Fan's heart.

What this person did when Ye Fan eventually stormed the Chu family would determine the success or failure of Ye Fan's plan.
