Ye Fan's deep resounding voice reverberated through the atmosphere.

What? G-grandpa? "Could he be..." The security guard stood in a daze with his eyes wide open.

I know it isn't easy for her to keep the company running on her own in Yunzhou. It's good that your mother went over to help. Otherwise, the girl would be exhausted. Why did I hear that you made an outsider the head of the company? You should rethink that decision. Since your uncles and aunt are all present, we should sit down and talk about it." Old Master Ye suddenly brought up work halfway through the conversation.

Ye Tian, Ye Ya, and Ye Jian had clearly

complained to Old Master Ye about what Ye Fan did before he arrived.

Old Master Ye contemplated. "I don't think so, but she might have called. I'm too old to remember. I have too many grandchildren calling me that I can't be certain."

"Never mind. Lend me your phone. I will try and call them." Ye Fan finally felt something was amiss.

After all, his mother was a filial daughter, so it was odd for her not to visit Old Master Ye for months on end.

In hindsight, it was completely abnormal for his mother to leave Fenghai for months.

Ye Fan quickly borrowed his grandfather's phone to call his mother and wife worriedly.

Ye Jian nodded. "Uh huh. I went over for a look but didn't manage to see her. She didn't pick up when I called either. I thought she was busy, so I didn't hang around and came back on the same day." Ye Fan instantly frowned even harder.

He clenched his fists tightly as he asked once more, "How did she leave?"

"Someone came to pick her up and said Mu-Cheng sent them. When Sis received the call, she just told Dad about it and left in their car. Now that I think about it, she left in quite a rush, but I thought she was in a hurry to talk about business," explained Ye Tian.

"So you don't know who took Mum, and you don't know if she has actually really gone to Yunzhou?"

Ye Fan's voice gradually turned cold with a solemn look on his face.

"Er..." Ye Tian and Ye Ya looked at each

other but were incapable of retorting.
