Since Chen Nan pleaded with him like that, Ye Fan finally agreed.

But just when he reached the entrance of the hotel, someone blocked Ye Fan's way.

"I'm sorry sir, but this is a private banquet, so you are not allowed to enter without an invitation card," said the staff at the door very confidently. A man and a woman walked over in no time.

Liang Hao-Nan glanced at Ye Fan and said in a friendly voice, "You must be Nannan's boyfriend, right?"

Liang Hao-Nan looked carefully at Ye Fan and noticed that Ye Fan's clothing was very ordinary looking, so he was certain that Ye Fan was from an ordinary family.

"Hello there, I've forgotten to make a reservation last night, please give me an additional room." A couple came walking over and also made a similar request to add a room.

"I'm so sorry, but we are fully booked," replied the receptionist.

The man didn't say anything and just passed his name card to the receptionist.

The receptionist immediately panicked.

"Ah, Mr GilL.I'm so sorry, I'll get you a room right now."

In no time, the couple received keys to a room on the fifth floor and walked away satisfactorily.

"What's going on? Didn't they say they were fully booked?" Chen Nan was instantly displeased.

But Kong Hui consoled her, "My dear girl, you should be content that we got a staff room. If my boyfriend's company didn't have some dealings with the Abe family, we won't even get a staff room."
