"Over here, over here, stop right here!" The sharp-eyed waiter spotted Erica's car inching towards the roadside diner and immediately waved enthusiastically, his face lighting up with the welcoming warmth typical of the region. Erica expertly parked the car in the designated spot, and they both got out. The evening breeze carried the mouth-watering aroma of street food and the distant hum of city life, creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. "Hey ladies, how many of you tonight?" the waiter greeted them warmly.

Erica smiled, scanning the area, and spotted Wesley waving at them.

"My friend's already here, thanks," Erica replied to the waiter, pointing towards Wesley.

The waiter quickly caught on and led them to where Jacob was sitting.

Wesley laughed off Erica's teasing and plopped down next to her. "What do you guys feel like eating?"

As Erica unfolded her napkin, she casually said, "Anything's fine. You haven't been here in a while, right? You pick."

"Hey, handsome!" he called the waiter over and glanced at the menu. "Let's get the garlic butter shrimp, salt and pepper crawfish, garlic pork ribs, sweet and sour pork, baked zucchini with parmesan, beef stir-fry with noodles, and spinach in cheese sauce." Camila looked at Jacob, somewhat surprised. "Ordering so much?"

Wesley laughed. "I haven't eaten here in ages."

Erica teased, "You just graduated, right? Afraid you won't get to eat this again?"

Camila asked, "Working at Fairmount?"

Wesley nodded. "Yeah, I signed with a law firm in Fairmount, starting work after the New Year."
