Jeslyn snuggled in closer.

“I’m in if there’s a puppy.

The secretary watched, smiling.

She could see the bond between Albert and the girt.

An hour later, a private jet took off from Heron International Airport.

Marcus and Melissa were aboard too.

Marcus poured himself a drink.

“Mr.

Waston truly knows how to live it up,” he said with a grin.

Albert couldn’t tolerate the guy.

He chuckled.

“Quit acting like you’re broke.

”

Seeing Jeslyn absent, Marcus boldly remarked, “I kept it low-key for your sake.

I didn’t know you were more high-profile than me!”

Albert turned to Melissa, asking, “How can you even stand this guy?”

With a grin, Marcus shrugged.

“To each their own.

”

Their bickering was routine.

So Melissa grabbed a blanket and headed to the lounge to nap, ignoring them.

Inside, Kiana and Jeslyn were having a blast.

The two girls, of the same age, had become fast friends.

Then she pleaded, “Can I borrow Minnie? Please just for a bit?”

Kiana, a few months younger, protested.
