CHAPTER 33: BARBECUE

I cut up the tomatoes into small pieces and pick them up dropping them in the salad bowl.

One thing that I do love to do is cook, mum used to teach me all the time. It reminds me of her, but I didn't like cooking at that old pack.

I put oil in the saucepan and roam in the fridge for the pre prepared cut up bacon.

I peel the plastic open and put it all in the saucepan, a lot of people are coming today.

I start to hear sizzling so I look outside and smile when I see Luca with a beer in his hand and tongs in the other one looking at the hot food.

I turn around and use a fork to mix up the bacon then put the fork on the bench, what else was I meant to do?

Ding ding

I wipe my hands with the tee-towel and walk towards the door, I swing it open and sigh in relief when our first guests are Storm and Tyler.

I open the door wider for them to come in and give Storm a hug and just smile at Tyler, you know Luca...

"Follow me!" I chirp.

I freeze "what's wrong?" Storm asks.

"The bacon!" I exclaim running to the kitchen, I sigh in relief when it's not burned.

I pick the the saucepan and pour the bacon into the salad bowl "Caesar salad, nice" Storm says.

I laugh and mix it around, I grab alfoil and cover it then put it in the fridge "Tyler, Luca is just out there so you can go to him!" I say practically ordering him, he laughs and walks to the door sliding it open, stepping out then closing it. "So what else do you need to do?" She asks.

"The snacks" I shrug.

"Your seriously telling me you didn't do the snacks before hand?" She says.

"Yeah I didn't.... I was focusing on the important stuff!

"Who else is coming?" She asks ignoring my other statement.

I shrug "I only know you and Tyler... Oh and Liam! But Lucas friends are coming and his sister" I say nervously "I didn't even know he had a sister!"

She rubs my arm seeing me panic "it's okay" I shake my head.

"Noooooo it is not!"

"You're being over dramatic" she says searching through my fridge, she gets out cabana, cheese (all sorts) sun dried tomatoes, dip.

I walk to the cupboard and get out the biscuits, chips and chocolate.

"Do you have any platters?" I nod pointing to the cupboard beneath her, she bends down and opens it.

Ding ding

"I will get it" I mumble and walk to the door, I open it and smile at a girl with black curly hair, mocha skin, blue eyes and pink full lips.

I look at the guy, he's tan as nearly all werewolf's are, he has hazel eyes, blonde hair and he's really tall.

I give them a smile "welcome I'm Lily, Lucas mate" they step inside and the girl grins.

"I know! I mean.... I'm Amelia" she gives me hug and I awkwardly hug her back.

"And I'm Dylan" I hear a deep voice, I pull back and look at him reaching my hand out for a handshake.

He shakes my hand "are you both mates?" They look at each other with adoring looks.

"Yeah."

"Are you from this pack?" They nod.

"Of course! Luca isn't really friends with any outsiders, maybe a few alphas.... But that's rare" Amelia says, I nod. "Please follow me" I walk to the kitchen and stop "this is my best friend, Storm" Amelia grins and skips over to her. "I'm Amelia, nice to meet you!" She hugs her and Storm looks at me surprised, I shrug.

She releases her and walks back over to us, I slide the glass door open and Dylan smirks.

"Luca, Luca" he tsks, Luca turns around and smirks.

"Dylan."

"Who's this?" Dylan asks looking at Tyler.

"I'm Tyler" they shake hands firmly.

"Guys are so intense" Amelia whispers to me.

"I know" I whisper back but they all turn to us with raised eyebrows, we sheepishly grub and start backing away.

"What did you girls say?"

"Nothing!" We say at the same time.

"I have to work on the snacks!" I say and bolt for the doors but a large hand grabs my waist.

I feel a warm breath on my neck "naughty" Luca tsks "why didn't you prepare the snacks before?" He whispers, I shrug.

"I was working on the more important things, now if you will excuse me" I try to push away from him but he holds me tighter "Luca let go" he doesn't "I'm sorry for this" I say and close my eyes, I move my foot back and kick him in the balls. He releases me and holds onto them and I run inside "LILY!" He shouts in pain.

"Sorry hon!" I walk inside and Amelia laughs following me.

"Nice job Lils!" Storm exclaims and I grin.

"Let's get working on these snacks" we all help make the snacks and then we carry them outside putting them on the large table.

I feel hands grabbing my wrists and I gulp, he spins me around with a straight face.

Ding ding

Thank God the bell! "Well I have to answer that..." He shakes his head and looks at Tyler, he nods.

I pout and look at Luca "what you did was a bad move" he whispers and kisses my neck.

"Then why are you rewarding me?" I fire back.

"I'm not" he says trailing kisses down my neck, he kisses my mark and tingles spread across my skin and I moan.

He pulls back and I groan opening my eyes, he smirks "no more for you" he taps my nose and I pout.

I lift my arms up and he raises an eyebrow "what?" He asks, I rest my arms on his shoulders which is a struggle with how tall he is.

"Hug?" He sighs and wraps his arms around my waist lifting me slightly.

"Who is this girl that gets Luca Knight to hug her? Gotta be someone great" we pull back and I look at a girl with black straight hair, olive skin and blue eyes. She looks a lot like Luca. "Lexi" Luca says.

"Hello brother" she smiles.

They walk up to each other and hug each other so tightly, I smile.

I look around to see knew faces, they all walk up to me.

A girl with blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin smiles "hey I'm Rita."

A guy with orange hair, green eyes and tan skin smiles "I'm George, Rita's mate."

A guy with Dirty blonde hair, dark brown eyes, fair skin smiles "I'm Georges Brother."

"I'm Sarah" a girl with black skin, brown eyes, brown wavy hair says.

"I'm Sarah's mate Marcus" a guy with black skin, blue eyes! And a quiff says.

I smile nervously "I'm Lily."

I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to come face to face with Lexi, she grins and hugs me.

"I'm Lexi... Sister" I smile, I've never had real family in years, except Storm and Luca.

Even though they aren't blood related...

"Well I'm gonna go and get my mate" I nod and I feel a arm snake around my waist.

"So that's your sister" I whisper, I feel him nuzzle his head in my neck smelling me. "Yup" he whispers and briefly kisses me on the neck.

"You're happy" I say sensing his change of mood, my wolf whines.

"Very" he says, I nod.

I look at Storm giving her a sign, her eyes widen and she nods and coughs "LILY OVER HERE!" She waves her hands around, I look at Luca and pat his chest. "Talk later" I say I'm about to walk away but he grabs my wrist spinning me around.

"What's wrong?" He whispers.

"Nothing" I say jerking my wrist away from him.

He grabs my waist angrily, I don't want to tell him because then I will sound selfish because someone is making him more happy then I ever could. "Lily" he warns, I look around.

"Don't make a scene Luca, is the food ready?" I ask.

He growls "don't avoid the question" his grip gets tighter until the point it hurts.

I wince "you're hurting me Luca."

"LILY!" I look at Storm and push away from him.

I sigh in relief when I'm near her "you okay?" She asks and I nod.

"Fine."

"Lily!" I look at Lexi and see a man with blonde hair, green eyes and pale skin next her.

"Hello I'm Xavier" I freeze.

Flashback

"Lily!" I look at my big brother and smile.

"Yes Xavy?" I tease.

"Where is it?" He demands.

"Where's what?" I ask actually curious.

"The Cookie Monster!" His hands tickles me quickly and I giggle.

"Stop Xavier!"

Flashback over

But Xavier died with my parents

"Xavier?" He looks into my green eyes with his own green eyes.

My brother had green eyes

"Yes?" He questions.

"Xavier Tate?"

"Yes?" I gasp and tears form in my eyes, Luca stands next to me and grabs my hand.

"Lils what's wrong?" He asks looking into my teary eyes, I don't know why I did it not thinking about what Lexi or Luca would do but I hugged him.

He might think it's strange because to him I'm not his sister

"I thought you were dead, it's me Lily your sister" I whisper.

"Lily!" He says and I nod.

I feel his arms wrap around my waist and everything goes silent.

"I-I thought you died" I whisper.

"I thought you died Lily" my shoulder dampens and I smile.

"I missed you, so much."

"I missed you."

We pull back and Luca grabs me pulling me to his chest "mine."

Lexi hugs Xavier glaring at me "guys she's my sister" I feel Luca freeze and Lexis eyes soften.

"You're her! Xavier talked about you all the time" she says.

I jump on Luca in excitement hugging him to death "I'm so happy Luca."

I feel him smile "I'm glad that you're happy" guilt spreads through me and I look at him, my legs wrapped around his waist.

"I'm sorry, Luca I love you."

So she loves him!!!! Does he love her though?
