CHAPTER 49: LUCA VS ALPHA JONES

"What in gods name are you doing here? This isn't a gathering!" Alpha Jones exclaims.

"You took what's mine, you took my pack, you took children and you abused them" he looks at me with pain filled eyes that hold relief and love. Luca looks back at alpha Jones with a snarl "and you're gonna pay" he whispers harshly.

Luca charges at him with pack members behind him, alpha Jones charges at him and my little group charges at alpha Jones army.

I could do this the easy way but how is that any fun?

A person charges at me and I kick him, I imagine roots tangling around him and it happens.

The roots squeeze the man until he turns blue, I look at alpha Jones to see he charging at me; I cower back in terror.

He's going to hurt me really bad...

Before he can reach me he's pulled back by the hair and his arms are trapped behind his back, Luca cuffs them together and ties him to a post on the ground.

He looks at me and smiles, I run up to him with a smile and wrap my arms around his waist.

I rest my head on his chest and let the happy tears fall "h-how did you find me?" I ask.

"We will talk about it later, right now we are in war and I just want to look at your beautiful face; its been almost a month baby" he whisper and wipes the tears away.

He kisses me passionately on the lips and looks up, he pushes me away and rips the guys heart out who was lunging at us.

I hear a cry and I look to see Abby being attacked, I don't want to hurt anyone but for her I will.

I charge towards them and surround Abby with fire, they jump back quickly and I bore holes into their ugly faces.

Abby looks around quickly and spots me "Luna lily!" She cries.

I look around for Luca not wanting to kill these men and let it ruin me for the rest of my life "Luca?!" In a flash he rips their hearts out and drops them to the floor.

I get rid of the fire around Abby and she runs towards me sobbing "they attacked me Lily" I wrap my arms around her tiny frame.

I feel so bad for not being able to lift her up so Luca does for me, he places her in a tree and she gripe it tightly.

"Luca watch out!" I scream as 6 men slash at his chest, he groans out in pain the blood rushing out and I look at them with anger.

I surround us with fire so they won't get near us, I bend down to Luca quickly but he shakes his head "I'm fine flower" I look at his chest and shake my head.

"No your not" I whisper, he stands and looks around; a few of our pack members have died, a tear runs down my cheek from it.

"Tell them to fall back, I can't because I'm not apart of the pack" he sighs but complies.

Quickly each pack member stands behind us, I get rid of the fire and Luca runs to alpha Jones untying him and dragging him to us.

He smirks when he nears me "my men enjoyed her body" Luca snaps his head down at him and growls.

"You bloody bastard!" He roars and kicks him on the rib, he punches his face continuously but I grab his arm "Luca not now" I whisper, he takes a deep breath and stands straight.

"Lily you can take them down" Luca says.

"B-but I don't want to kill" I whisper.

"You're only killing bad people" he says.

"Some are innocent Luca" he sighs and everything goes silent "I will give you all a chance to come over to our side of you are not apart of alpha Jones side, I will give you one minute to decide!" Luca shouts and everyone pauses. The guard I remember who gave Abby water walks over to our side with a woman beside him, he stands with us.

Slowly people walk towards our side, when about 200 people reach our side the rest stay where they are.

"You all will be killed" Luca shouts looking at the 500 people.

Everyone looks at me expectantly and I sigh closing my eyes, I'm doing this for my family, for my pack, for Abby, for Storm, most importantly for Luca.

I imagine them all being caught on fire and I start to hear screaming, I open my eyes and hug Luca not liking what I see.

"It's okay baby" he whispers hugging me "I've got you now and you will be with me for ever, no problems."

"H-how can you look at me?"

He frowns "what's wrong with looking at someone as beautiful as you?" He gently whispers.

"Look at me L-Luca! Does it not repulse you? My face has cuts all over it, bruises, I have two holes in my shoulders, one on each! I have a hole in my thigh, a broken rib and burns all over my body and my frame has thinned; how are you not disgusted" I whisper sadly "I-I'm so broken and scared that I hate it so much, I'm still scared even though I know I'm safe with you" I cry and he kisses my forehead.

"I am disgusted... But in him; he will pay beautiful, you are still my Lily, my flower and my flower is beautiful no matter what" he rubs his thumbs over my cheeks, I smile. "R-really?" He nods and looks at my neck.

"Darnit I forgot about that!" He curses.

I furrow my eyebrows and look down at my necklace "forgot about what?"

"I put a tracker in your necklace" he shrugs and I smile not surprised.

"Of course you did."

"Can you blame me?!" He exclaims with a small smile on his face and I smirk.

"I'm going to get out of here! I will find a way!" Alpha Jones shouts, Luca rolls his eyes and I gulp.

"Flower you don't have to be afraid baby" I look up at him.

"Okay" I whisper, he looks up and grabs Abby out of the tree.

She looks around and her brown eyes brighten when they land on someone, I advert my eyes to a man with black hair, brown eyes, tan skin and a beard.

"Daddy!" Abby cries and runs towards him.

He looks down and he grins tears welling up in his eyes "baby girl is that you?" He crouched and she runs into his arms.

He lifts her up into his arms peppering kisses over her face "your mother will be so happy!" He exclaims with a large grin, I smile.

"Luna helped me daddy" she says and he looks at me with a small smile.

"Thank you Luna" he bows.

"Abby was a pleasure to spend my time with, please call me Lily as I've told Abby for 100 times" she giggles and he smiles.

"My name is Mark" I shake his hand and he bows at Luca, Luca shakes his hand and smiles.

"Let's go home!" He shouts and everyone cheers.

My grip tightens on Lucas hand in nervousness, I tap my foot on the wooden boards of the balcony.

I listen as footsteps come towards the door, it opens and there stands my best friend with her hair everywhere and bags under her eyes.

"Storm" I grin, she looks up her eyes brightening and for the second time in knowing her I see her cry.

I release Lucas hand and hug her tightly "I-I'm so sorry Lily! I didn't realise that it was dangerous out there alone, I got into everyone when I woke up and then I went looking for you. I am s-so sorry" she cries and I tighten my arms around her. "It's okay Storm, I'm here now" she smiles and studies my face and it slips in a second "what did he do to you?" She whispers sadly.

"You don't need to worry about that, I'm here now."

"Do you two wanna come in?" I shake my head.

"I can't sorry, Luca and I are spending time together because I promised him when we were about to leave for yours that I wouldn't make any arrangements for today with you" she smirks and looks at Luca. "Jealous are we?" He scoffs.

"You're coming to mine tomorrow though, along with our group- there's gonna be a massive sleepover!" She squeals and we hug.

"Bye" I wave and she waves back.

We walk home holding hand and I lay on the couch "The doctor said you need lots of rest and your rib is healing well, remember I have to put on your ointment soon" I laugh.

"I remember because you keep pestering me" he sheepishly smiles.

"I'm just worried" I smile.

"Don't be."

He berths in my scent "God I missed you, I love you so much" I kiss him on the lips.

"I love you too, um... W-what's happening with alpha Jones?" He growls.

"He's getting tortured" he states calmly.

"No biggy" I say sarcastically.

"Yup; no biggy" he waves it off.
