Alpha’s Black Furred Slave Mate -
Chapter 71
Deonna laid sleepily in his arms; her naked body still pressed against him. He traced his fingers down the spine of her back and she wiggled as it ticked her. Her dark hair fell messily around her face and dampened from her sweat. He used his other hand to move He kissed her soft lips and breathed in her musky and gorgeous scent. She was mesmerizing to him. Her body was so soft, and he couldn't get enough of her. He wanted more of her but he knew they needed to spend some time talking.
the hair from her features and bring her face up to him so he could gaze into her light brown eyes.
He held her close, not ever wanting to let her go.
He couldn't believe she was actually there; when he first saw her standing in the foyer, he was worried something had happened that caused her to need to show up there. But his wolf told him that she just missed him and wanted to see him. Now that she was here, he didn't want to let her go again. It would destroy him if she left again.
"We should talk," he whispered through the darkroom; he hoped that she was still awake to talk.
She murmured something he couldn't quite understand. He shifted so he could better see her features; her eyes flashed up to him and she blinked a few times. A small smile was placed on her lips as she stared up at him with seduction on her expression. "Why did you come back?" He found himself asking.
He hoped he wasn't sounding harsh, but he needed to know why she would put her, Mateo, and Kamala's life in jeopardy by returning to the manor.
She frowned for a moment as she thought of an answer, but she didn't break the eye contact.
"Because I realized I needed you," she whispered up at him.
He felt his heart leaping in his chest as she spoke.
"I couldn't be without you any longer, Marlon," she added; her voice cracking slightly as she tried not to cry.
"You know how dangerous it is here," he reminded her, kissing her forehead gently.
"I've been miserable these last few months. Something in my life had been missing and I didn't know what it was until recently... you," she said softly. She shifted her gaze downward.
"I know," he said in agreement. "I felt it too. But I only want what's best for you and Mateo," he told her.
She sighed, defeated.
"If you want me to leave, I will..." she whispered sadly. "I just couldn't not see you."
"I don't want you to leave," he shot back a little too quickly. "I just got you back, I can't lose you again," he clarified, softening his tone.
"Then, what is it you want?" She asked, shifting her gaze back up to meet his.
He grinned as their lips met once again; he sighed in relief as she deepened the kiss and pulled him closer to her chest.
"You..." he whispered. "All of you."
(Bob)
Bob stormed through the village; he ignored almost everyone who tried greeting him or speaking to him. One look at his angry expression and they knew not to mess with him. There was one thing everyone could figure out right away.
Bob was pissed.
He worked so hard at keeping Deonna and Mateo safe for his father's request. He grew to almost admire Deonna in a way and didn't want to particularly see her die. He did a lot of things to keep her safe. Including killing Petra and almost killing his brother, Alex. Alex ended up getting away and he had no idea where he was. He spent months patrolling the woods and trying to get his scent or a trace of his whereabouts. But he kept coming up empty. Which meant, wherever he was far away. Or got good at masking his own scent.
It was infuriating that his brother was being a coward and hiding. With everything that Alex managed to do and how his attitude was, Bob didn't like not having his eyes on him. He was wary about what kind of things his brother was capable of doing and planning on doing. Especially if he knew that Deonna and Mateo were still in the manor.
They hard got through the war alive; Deonna got captured by the king and was sentenced to death. It was amazing she got out of that alive; if the king found out she was back at the manor, he would have all their heads.
It was selfish of her to return after everything that's happened. She single-handedly turned this entire kingdom upside down; she turned his father upside down. Now she was back so she could do it all over again.
It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair to any of them.
She also brought that dirtball slave with her; Kamala was her name. What a stupid name for a stupid dark-fur wolf. Any other day, Bob would have had a field day with that wolf. He would have had his day with her, or tried to, from day one just as he tried to with Deonna when she arrived on the farm. But now they were both under the protection of his father and he couldn't step near them without Marlon knowing about it.
Who did they think they were? Dark-furred wolves just waltzed through the manor like they owned the place. None of this was fair.
Kamala seemed a bit skirmish about residing there, which was good. He didn't want her to be comfortable. He wanted her to leave. He wanted them all to leave. Despite how hot she was.
Ugh.
He couldn't think about her like that; she was a dirtball and disgusting at that. Then again, he always did have a thing for disgusting. He liked getting a rise out of his brother and going for the women that neither of them would normally be into. He also enjoyed pissing off his father, despite being punished for it every step of the way.
But there was something about Kamala that wasn't quite gross. Like Deonna, she didn't smell bad like most Dirtballs. She didn't arrive in rags either; they both returned to the manor wearing gowns that looked homemade. Kamala's hair was a bit shorter than Deonna's but just as thick and dark. Her skin was a bit tanner as well; her olive features bringing out the darkness of her hair. Her eyes were dark green, and anyone could easily get lost in them. Her eyes were equipped with these long dark lashes that she'd bat at him whenever she argued with him. She had a mouth on her.
Kamala reminded him of Deonna when it came to her mouth; it seemed the more comfortable she got around a person if she knows they can't touch her, the louder and more open her mouth gets. She's not afraid of Bob because she knows Bob, and anyone else in the manor, can't hurt her.
He didn't want her to be too comfortable; he wanted her to fear him. He made a mental note about speaking to his father about her. If she was going to reside there it was going to be as a slave.
Bob stormed through the woods; the only way he could fully clear his mind is if he goes for a hunt. He transitioned himself into his silvery wolf and leaped through the forest. He could hear animals for miles and wasted no time in hunting them down.
His mouth watered just thinking about sinking his teeth in the fresh flesh of the bear that was nearby. He could hear the growling of the bear as it hunted for his food. It was completely unaware that Bob was nearby. Which is what he liked about being fast and stealthy.
On his way to the bear, he stopped to snack on a few fallen birds from the trees. They weren't as appetizing as bigger animals though.
He found it difficult to get Kamala out of his mind; he was pissed that she was there. He was pissed that Deonna returned and that his father was allowing this to happen again.
As he approached the bear, he heard a terrifying screeching coming from the same direction. He knew it had to be a bear and that something was attacking it.
It angered him to think that something else had gotten to his bear before he could; he shouldn't have stopped off to feed on the birds. He raced towards the bear and broke through the open forest until he could smell the scent of the bear and the flesh and blood that flooded from it.
Then another, more familiar, scent smacked him in the face.
His eyes widened as he reached the bear and saw it dead in the center of the forest. Another wolf with silver stands of thick fur stood over it; blood seeping into the silver fur and dripping from its sharpened white teeth.
Bob stood there, staring with shock and dismay; he couldn't believe what he was seeing in front of him.
The other wolf looked up and dropped the bear from his mouth, gaping at Bob with the same shocked expression.
After what felt like a lifetime and a staring competition, Bob finally spoke.
"Alex?"
