Alpha’s Hostage
Queen Of The Alpha Chapter 88

Priscilla," she heard her name in her head.

The she-wolf closed her eyes and found herself pushing everything aside and just concentrating on that voice.

-Tell me mother," both her body and her mother's were projected in front of each other.

-Are you sure about what you're going to do," Nebraska's voice was concerned even with her usual firm demeanor. The younger she-wolf nodded her head.

-I can't leave Layan alone," she ran her hand over the back of her neck, "He's my mate.

Nebraska understood her.

-Even when I was on the verge of death I prioritized my loved ones over my own wellbeing," she remembered when she almost froze to death in the snow after escaping from Rudoc, and she only worried that the antidote against the poison that attacked her husband and son would reach them at the right time.

-They always tell me that I only resemble you in appearance, something of your character I must have inherited," Priscilla smiled softly.

-You are more like me than you realize," after all, the two of them were able to control their two alpha wolves at their convenience.

She reached up and touched her daughter's face.

-I know what you are going to do and that you would be able to break my control over you again. Nothing would stop you from not being with your wolf, that's why I took care of your father.

-Thank you ma, I know my father worries too much about me, but I can't stand by and do nothing," she grabbed her mother's hand and kissed her palm, "Tell him I love him very much and I always will.

At those words a tear ran down Nebraska's cheek.

-Priscilla hugged her tightly against her. Though it was only their images bound together by their mental bond a cozy warmth settled between them- I know I don't have much time left. I heard them and I may spend what energy I have left to help Layan, but I'm not going to die.

Nebraska said nothing. Always feeling her children being separated from her was like a knife through her soul.

-Promise me you'll come back to us," her voice came out broken, unable to hold on any stronger. Knowing that Priscilla was very likely to fall back into a deep sleep was hard to bear.

His daughter left a kiss on his forehead.

-I promise as many times as it takes. Only if you promise to take care of my wolf and my father when I'm gone. I hope they won't be too upset when they hear about this. Nebraska put on a serious face.

-With Layan... he'll understand. With your father... it can be a little complicated, but I know how to deal with him.

-Thank you mother- Priscilla pressed her forehead to hers and intertwined her fingers with the omega wolf's- Thank you for always supporting me.Read more at FindNovel.net

-I am your mother for today and always- and those were the last words before the bond was broken.

Priscilla raised her head opening her eyes and a tear spilled out of them to wipe it later. She hated causing her parents this kind of pain, but it was necessary to remove all the evil from the way and for them to live safely. If Liam continued to live they would never have peace of mind.

Taking a deep breath she got out of bed and pulled on a thick dress she found laid over the corner of the bed. Her mother had definitely prepared all of this in advance..

-I know that my power cared about me, but I can't get rid of crossbreeds," he hugged the monkey of his father and kissed his brother, "Tell him that I love him very much and I will always love him.

Carefully she left the room without making too much noise, in case her father could hear her, and walked barefoot down the hallway. Her steps were so nimble and soft that the breeze caressing the windowpanes was louder than they were. After walking halfway through the building she stopped in front of the hallway that led to the room where her partner was waiting for her.

She lifted one leg to stop. She glanced out of the corner of her eye at the two wolves standing there.

-Kei, Victore," she turned her face to look at them.

-Princess, you're seriously going to do this," the white-haired wolf was tense, "If you do....

-I know the consequences, but I don't have much time left anyway. In the beginning I told my father to only let me stay here for a month. I knew from the beginning that my days were limited- her face was passive, with a calm and confident expression. Her now very long hair waved around her body and reminded him of his mother, when she was not even a bean inside the omega and she had faced danger without fear. Right now Priscilla had that same feeling. And as fate would have it, it was the same enemy. -Princess- this time it was Kei's voice that was heard and the wolf lowered his head with shame on his features- I, I don't know how to look at her. I'm sorry for everything that happened and for being manipulated so easily. Priscilla bowed her head and a slight smile appeared on her lips.

-Kei, you don't have to apologize. You and the others were just victims of Liam. We all understand. You don't have to feel guilty.

Kei wasn't very convinced. The she-wolf didn't seem upset with him even though it was his body that had hurt her so much and almost bonded with her.

Priscilla seeing the uncertainty in the large wolf walked over to him and wrapped one arm around his neck while the other wrapped around Victore's neck.

-Thank you for everything so far," she gave them each a kiss on the cheek, "And take care of my wolf. I entrusted him to my father, but I'm sure he'll have his hands full, so I can only leave them with you while I'm away. Neither wolf said anything. They were all aware of the situation. It was not by choice that Litus was in the castle. Priscilla's time was up.

She broke off and her silver orbs were so crystalline that it was impossible to fail to appreciate them.

-How is the rest of them?

Victore grasped his wolf's hand, sensing his wolf's need for emotional support.

-Everyone is recovering quite well. Already Leila, Layan's sister is waking up at times, but she is very groggy, and Antoin and his brother were moved to a comfortable area still under guard, though they remember absolutely nothing. Priscilla nodded her head. It was a relief that those who had been involved with Liam were already recovering. It wouldn't be an easy process, but they could get through it.

-In that case it's my turn to act now- she gave them one last sincere smile to walk in the direction of the door when she stopped and looked over her shoulder at them- And when I return as his queen, if you Kei, haven't made Victore your mate, I'll order you to. And he wasn't playing with that. Kei lowered his head, embarrassed by that as Victore burst out laughing.

-You saw, honey. Our future queen is sending you to make me your mate, so what are you waiting for.

Priscilla left them talking while she walked down the hallway towards the room where her wolf was. From outside she could already feel his pheromones. Strong, thick. And she knew he had smelled her as a growl made even the ceiling shudder. Priscilla frowned and resolutely pushed open the door.

-Don't growl at me, wolf," she growled back. After such poignant moments she now remembered the reason she was upset in the first place.

Layan raised his head showing all his fangs and a dense haze of pheromones propelled themselves in Priscilla's direction. The she-wolf whimpered in pain as the mark on her neck began to throb so much that she had to suppress the urge to cry. He was pushing her out of that room.

But she was stubborn enough to stay and despite the pain she began to move in the direction of the wolf releasing her pheromones as well. After all she was his mate and even if the scent affected her, the effect was reciprocal. Layan growled when he smelled her and stirred from where he stood. The chains around her wrists thundered as she tried to break free, however, to no avail.

Priscilla felt her legs shaking so when she was in front of the wolf she dropped to straddle his lap. Her breathing was ragged, heavy, Layan's scent was everywhere and since their liaison was recent it was dazing her seeking her submission. Something she would not give him.

Firmly she gripped the wolf's face and sought his lips sealing them in a hard way. Layan beneath her shuddered and opened his mouth to let his tongue out seeking hers eagerly. THE kiss was not romantic and gentle, but wild and to some extent rough, until Layan bit her lips and strands of blood traveled down her chin.

Priscilla moaned breaking away only to put her forehead against his without letting go of his face. Their lips so close that their hot breaths intertwined.

-I know... you are Layan's wolf," she said staring at him.

The wolf growled as if mentioning the other wolf was forbidden.

Priscilla gave him a soft kiss on his lips.

-Don't be jealous. You're both important to me. Layan for being Layan and you for being you. And just so you know, I liked you first.

Layan growled, but this time it sounded like almost a purr. Priscilla knew this was the wild side of Layan and it wasn't easy to deal with, she had experienced it before. So in order to gain access to his purely closed mind she would have to use certain tricks. Tricks that she was sure would work because when she had kissed him she had felt his mental barriers falter. She just needed to make him lose his mind to create a way inside him.

She just hoped she could do it in time.
