Alpha’s Hybrid Cinderella -
Chapter 81
"Claudia!" I hear my sweet Evan call my name and I can hear his hurried footsteps as he rushes towards our room.
I look at the suitcase in front of me, as I still have an unsettled feeling in my gut. Evan walked towards me and wrapped his arms around me from behind as he rubbed his hand over my stomach. He teases me, "You know, we could be putting another little one in you on this trip." I roll my eyes from his antics. He's right though, Peele and Osborn are 4 years old now and if I did get pregnant on this trip that would put the next baby at being almost five years apart from the boys.
It's the exact time frame that I have wanted. From all of the parentings and pregnancy books I've read it shows that a 4-5 year age difference helps the older kids process the change better and helps me out because they will be able to understand and help out a little more.
Evan peers over my shoulder and looks at my unzipped suitcase and looks back at me as he asks, "What's wrong? You seem hesitant and normally you enjoy going away. It's been a while since we've had some time just the two of us."
I nod as I bite my lower lip nervously. He's right, it has been a while. But... something isn't right. Evan sighs as he turns me around and holds my face as he looks into my eyes and says, "Claudia, do you realize how many people will be here watching out for our boys? We have Raf and Leon, Ken and Abigail, your aunt, and uncles plan on coming in for a couple of days, and there's all the warriors we have in our pack. Our boys are in great hands, and we need to do our duty as Alpha and Luna of the Scarlet pack. We'll be back before you know it."
He's right. I know he is, and we have the best support system I could hope for. We'll be fine. It's just hard to leave for an entire week! We've never been away from the boys that long before.
I zip up my bag and say, "Let's go spend some time with the boys before we have to leave."
Evan puts his hand on the lower part of my back as he guides me towards the playroom where the boys are playing with Raf and Leon's daughters Laila and her little sister, Lauren and two of our nannies are sitting in here overseeing them.
The ladies see us and smile as our boys rush over to us and Laila and Lauren aren't that far behind. Even if the girls aren't biologically mine, with how close our families are they treat me like their second mom.
I sit in the floor and play with the cars and dinosaurs with the kids and laugh as Evan gives countless piggyback rides and throws the kids into the air making them giggle hysterically. It felt like I blinked and then there's a knock on the door and we both look over to see Raf and Leon come in and behind them is Abigail, Ken's girlfriend.
They've been going steady for almost a year now and she gets on great with our kids. She's full of energy, keeps everyone on their toes, and is the smartest person I've ever met. She runs a successful business that she inherited from her parents and has been studying to become a lawyer. She only has one semester left and then she will be finished with school. During her free time, she likes to come over here and hang out with all of us.
And with all of the pranks and games she likes to play, she quickly become our boys' favorite person.
She smiles as she waves at me before both of the boys latch onto her legs as they yell her name, "Aunt Abby!"
I laugh as she wobbles into the room as they each hang on to one leg and Evan puts his arm around my shoulder and says softly, "We need to go."
I breathe out as I rush over to my boys and give them each tight hugs and smother them with kisses before Evan drags me out. I call out, "Thank you for the help, guys!"
As we leave our home Evan picks me up and spins me making me laugh before he sets me in the passenger seat of the car and then rushes over to the driver seat. He looks over at me with a sly smirk as he places his hand on my thigh and says, "I can't wait till we get to our room tonight."
My cheeks burn making him chuckle and I place my hand on his thigh, dangerously close to his manhood. I see the darkness in his eyes, and I know he's tempted to have a quickie before we leave, but we're on a time crunch. We can do stuff on the train. It's takes almost 6 hours to get to the Silver Howlers Pack, but we're here in time to get dressed and head out to the dinner party. As we start to get ready, I feel sad knowing how far away we are from our children.
Evan notices my depressed mood and sighs as he tries to reassure me, "They are fine, Claudia."
I shrug, "I know they're fine, Evan. But I'm allowed to miss them."
"I'm not saying that you can't miss them." He snaps and I give him a pointed look. It's weird for him to snap at me like that. He takes a deep breath and says apologetically, "Claudia, I'm sorry, I just miss you sometimes... I miss us. Is that really such a bad thing?" I shake my head, "I just, I don't understand what you mean, Evan."
"The boys have become your entire world. And that's okay, in fact that's a good thing. But sometimes it feels like you forget to make time for just the two of us. Could we please just enjoy this time that we have together? It's only one week."
I didn't realize how absorbed I've been by our children. It's hard to prioritize us at times. Evan is always busy and out at different meetings, I'm always busy with the boys, and when we get time together a lot of the time, we're both exhausted. I say, "I'm sorry... I didn't realize how much I have been neglecting us."
He rushes over to me and holds my face as a tear escapes my eye and goes down my cheek. He brushes it away with his thumb and says, "You're a fantastic mother, Claudia. And you are an amazing mate, you're the best woman I could've hoped for. I just want to spend time together. I want to work on prioritizing us. I need to do it too."
He leans in giving me a soft peck on the lips trying to reassure me that he doesn't mean anything in a bad way. He groans as I slip my tongue into his mouth and before I know it, he has picked me up forcing me to wrap my legs around his waist as he brings us over to the bed. I gasp as he places kisses along my neck and I say breathlessly, "Evan, the dinner."
He slips his hands under my dress and swiftly rips my underwear off and says, "They can wait five minutes."
He slips his thick fingers into my wetness causing me to moan out and grind against him. I groan out, "Fine, but we need to hurry so we won't get interrupted."
I hear him taking his buckle off and soon his body is pressed against mine and he looks at me and says, "Just because we're having a quickie doesn't mean that you won't still get pleasure."
He moved his hand down and rubs against my sensitive bundle of nerves as he begins to stroke his massive c**k in and out of me.
My words are unintelligible as he causes me to become undone and soon follows behind me. His c*m fills inside me and he kisses me softly as he says, "I love you, Claudia. And later tonight, I'll take my time with you and show you just how much you mean to me." He nips at my mark causing me to squeal.
There's a knock at the door that breaks us out of our private bubble. We both groan in disappointment and Evan calls out, "We'll be right there."
He takes me hand helping me up and we both rush to get ready so we can make it down for dinner.
I throw on a long black dress that has a slit that goes all the way up to the thigh and I look over to see Evan as he straightens his tie. I feel breathless just looking at him. I don't know how I got so lucky to be blessed with such a handsome man. He smirks at me as he says, "You look gorgeous, Claudia."
I smile as I walk over to him and fix his still crooked tie, "And you are very handsome, Evan."
He kisses me quickly, but puts all his love into that small kiss causing my toes to curl. It's nice not being interrupted by little children. Hopefully we can get more time for just the two of us this week.
