Chloe's

POV:

I remember him now...

After thinking over the dream I had for over an hour, the memories of how I met the man in my dreams floated back to my mind. I jumped on the bed in partial excitement, mentally congratulating myself for figuring it out. It was the day I had wandered into the forest, deeper than I had ever gone before. The day Marcus found me by the large waterfalls and had taken me to his secret place under the rock.

I was feeling down and had gone to get some air, when the man had popped out of nowhere and I remember him telling me that: we were family and before he left, I now know that he'd wiped off my memories of him. His eyes had glowed red and the pale skin colour of his skin, left no doubt in me that he was actually a vampire. How was he able to erase my memories then? Could vampires do that too?

Also, he had vanished, appearing on the other side. I had no idea what that was, I never saw my mother vanish and for the memory erasing ability, I never knew if she erased anyone's memory. I am family.

That kept resounding in my head. I couldn't make sense of it no matter what, how could he be family? Mum never told me about any family members. A gasp suddenly left my lips, as I thought: could u have been the same person that came into my room the other day? What could he possible want?!

What kind of dream was that by the way? Was it just my mind playing games with me? Or was it a warning? A sign?

I grabbed my head, dramatically pulling at my hair. The whole thinking was making me sick and the fact that I couldn't talk to Marcus about it was more frustrating.

Was that what he was trying to hide from me? Maybe he found out that I had a relation and he was afraid that I might leave him someday and no longer fully depend on him, so he was doing everything possible to keep me away.

I looked around me and that only made sense. The quantity of silver was too much to be meant for only me. I knew I was super strong and all, but Marcus didn't know that. I always acted weak in front of him, because that's what Alpha males like. He wouldn't want to know that I can actually beat him in a combat, that will bruise his ego for a very long time.

I scrunched my nose in disgust, when an unpleasant smell reached me. I sniffed around and when I perceived that it was coming from me, I lowered my eyes to my dress to see that I had wet myself.

"Fucking. Stupid. Dream," I cursed under my breath, moving away from my position on the bed. My face heated up on embarrassment, as I hoped and prayed that Marcus didn't notice before he left, that I had bed wetted. I should have happened when I had peed myself in the dream...

I raised my shirt over my head and dumped it on the floor. Then, I pulled down my jeans along side my panties, dumping them both on the floor. I rolled to the other side of my back, lying naked.

I raised my hands up, staring at both. "I want you to become invincible," I waited and nothing happened. "Hyah!" I yelled, striking them in the air, and nothing still happened. Next, I tried with my legs and they was no success with that either. "Grrgh!" I groaned, pulling myself into a sitting position. I folded my legs buddha statue position, joining my hands together in front of me and closed my eyes. It was something my dad did all the time. He was an Alpha... and just like Marcus, he also had a very furious temper. He always said yoga helped the mind to relax and focus.

I sat there for... I don't know how long, all the troubling thoughts danced around in my mind and soon, they all settled, going into the back of my mind. My mind was clear, my head clear and my thoughts clear.

I slowly opened my eyes and stretched forth my hands again. Instead of speaking out loud this time, my commanded with my mind and just as you never guessed, my hands vanished, living only my shoulders.

I screamed, not being used to the creepy situation and I hurriedly undid my magic. I fell back on the bed, panting had in excitement but soon got up and started jumping on the bed, as I did my own little celebration with a victory dance. We did it! My demon yelled in excitement and I laughed.

"I can't believe this!" I yelled, jumping up bro the air and bouncing on the bed. "Invicible!"

My whole body vanished.

"Visible!"

My body appeared back.

I mentally congratulated myself on my ability development. The man in my dream might have given me the chills but for one thing, he had helped me unlocked more vampire potentials and I couldn't believe how happy I finally made my demon in a long time.

My wolf was quite sad, but no longer depressed. I guess she's already figured out that her mate still wanted her even though Marcus was acting up. But she still missed him and was why our little vampire celebration; was getting to her. She sat in a corner brooding, being her quiet self as of late, she hardly talked to me any more and was acting kind of suspicious like they was something she knew that I didn't.

I finally settled back on the bed, my duvet pulled up to my chin to conceal my nakedness. "Woof!" I said, blowing out a large breath. One assignment accomplished, now the next one is to learn how to appear from one place to another. My mind went back to my mother, and my mood dropped instantly. She taught me every thing I knew about being a vampire while my dad trained me on being a werewolf. If there were here, I wouldn't have to figure out how to use my ability on my own, because mum will always teach me.

Better still, I wouldn't be locked up in a large room with no one to come save me. My dad will extract every single tooth in Marcus's mouth while giving him a thorough beating. Next time, he'd think twice before locking me up!

I smirked, wicked thoughts of what I intended to do to Marcus, sipping into my head. He had made a mistake when he thought he could confine me and keep secrets from me. He hadn't known who he was dealing with exactly, and I'll show him just what I am capable of!

Him putting me in chains only proved that he didn't trust me enough. That when he'd asked me to be Luna, he only did that for his selfish reasons, never once had he paused to considered me good enough!

My wolf growled and I let her, as my chest heaved with anger that threatened to explode me. How was I supposed to teach my heart to forgive him? Even if he had done whatever he did to me with pure intentions, It still hurt my pride. He had trampled and walked all over my pride and for that, I couldn't forgive him.

I laid there, thinking of ways to torture him. It was already past midnight and guess what?

His royal highness wasn't back home yet.

My wolf had become restless, troubling my mind with questions about whether he was okay out there, or if he was with another woman. Well, woe betide him and that woman, I wouldn't be holding back this time.

I heard footsteps, and I dived under the covers, pretending to be asleep. I had been so engrossed in my thoughts that I hadn't heard some enter the house. I tried to get a scent and... Lilian?

I shot up excitedly, already turning open the locks in the door so she'd just walk right in. I listened eagerly as she ascended the stairs quickly, her shoes hitting onto the steps quietly. She'd just gotten on the top floor, when I felt another presence.

"Lilian?"

"Ha ha ha," she laughed nervously and I had to face palm at her silliness. "Baby? What are you doing here?"

I heard Mark scoff. "Shouldn't I be asking you that question?" He paused for a while and I held my breath, praying that he shouldn't get to suspicious and just drop it. "What. Are. You doing. In Marcus's house?"

I could literally hear the jealousy in his voice. And if I knew Lily well enough, she should be a trembling mess by now and I prayed fervently that she didn't loose her guard and run that big mouth of hers. "Answer me!"

Fucking son of a wolf!

I grabbed where my heart was racing like it were on a track field. I wasn't the one he'd raced his voice on, but I nearly jumped out of my skin. Oh, poor Lilian... she would be so scared!

Well, or so I thought.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me, you stupid wolf!" Lily challenged back, leaving me with a surprised gasp. "I came to check on my friend, I don't have time to deal with that senseless jealousy of yours!" Mark growled. "I told you Chloe has left! Why come here alone? Did you come to see Marcus?"

I flinched at his tone. I knew it was normal for wolves to feel inferior when it came to their ranks, but, it worried me greatly that he'd insinuate that Lily would try to get in Marcus's bed so she become Luna. I heard Lily choke back a sob and my heart went out to her. "I hate you so much," she whispered. "I know Chloe is in this house and I don't care if you tell Marcus that I am aware!"

I groaned in annoyance. Just the right timing for stupid Mark to rile Lily up and make her spill our secret! That was one thing with getting her agitated, she loses every sense of reasoning. Oh, just kill me.

"What do you mean by that?" Mark asked cautiously. "Lilian? What are you talking about?"

"Oh... to hell with you!" She yelled back.

I heard footsteps and the door to my room was flung open and a a furious Lily stepped in, slamming the door shut behind her.

"Fuck shit," we heard Mark mutter under his breath. "Marcus will not be home in about two hours, be out of the house by then," he said and a few seconds later, the front door slammed shut.

I looked at Lily who was heaving heavily, her face scrunched up in anger. I contemplated if to say anything to just let her be, because she was a pro at 'tranferring of aggression'. A giggle nearly slipped out of my mouth but I held it back, not wanting to get in her black books.

Her eyes quickly snapped to me and I was left too stunned to react. She shot me a dangerous glare, making me squirm uncomfortably. "Pray tell, what do you find so amusing?"

I pretended to look confused. "Me? Nothing at all!" She gave me a look of disbelief and I bit my lower lip harder.

"I do not find it funny that you sneak into your Alpha's house to check on your best friend, and your mate catches and accuses you of having an affair with your Alpha. Then you walk away from him and into the one room he believed you never knew about. Now that,... I do not find funny!"

I had started to crack up and soon, Lily joined me. She came over to the bed, grabbing onto her sides as she laughed hysterically. I was another case entirely, had tears rolling down my cheeks by the time I calmed down from my laughter. "Hmm," Lily sighed, coming to lie down beside me. She use a fist to hold her head up, her elbow planted on the bed. "I was so scared out there, but I handled him like a badass!"

"Like girl... I was practically trembling in her for you," I said, giving her a proud look. "I'm sorry he accused you of-"

She rolled her, giving a snort. "Nah... it's okay. I've gotten used to wolves and their stupid jealous nature," she shrugged. "I really do not care..." she said, giving me a light punch on my arm.

"I've got information," she said excitedly. "But first, I've got a present for you." She dipped her hand into her long coat and took out a strange object and held it up in my face.

I stared for a while and when I still couldn't figure out what that was, I looked at her, scrunching my face in confusion. "Lily... what is this thing supposed to be?"

She smirked, her eyes giving way for mischief. "Look harder, you might figure it out soon," she said in between giggles.

I stared at the long black rod with and oval shaped head, and nothing came to mind.

And stared some more.

And just when I was about to cry our my frustration, I saw the mental image of a very familiar object and my eyes widened, snapping up to Lily's. "Yeah," she grinned. "It is exactly what you are thinking..."

Oh Lily, no way!
