Alpha’s Slave Luna
Chapter 124

Otis's POV:

"Lots of clan members at the door?"

Conrad froze for a moment after hearing the voice outside the door, then he immediately opened the door to his room.

"Otis ...... her."

The familiar face of the attending doctor appeared, and as I saw her, she saw me, and then I saw the smile that appeared on her face.

"Otis, you've managed to wake up!"

She said as she rushed in and hugged me hard, then she turned her head to look at Conrad.

"Alpha Conrad, the clan were so grateful when they heard about Otis that a large portion of them are now gathered outside the gates of the villa, Otis is completely fine now, right?" Here she gave me another serious look, and I could feel the complexity present in her eyes.

"I don't feel like I'm in any discomfort anymore, I'll change my clothes and be out soon."

After saying that I walked towards the changing room, at the same time my heart was starting to beat, what the attending doctor had just said made me feel a little nervous. Most of the clan was outside the villa and they were fully recovered?

My mind conjured up images of facing those clansmen while looking at some of the different coloured clothes in my wardrobe.

I hesitated for a moment, and after changing out of my pyjamas, I ended up putting on the one maid's outfit that I was used to wearing.

Luna's ritual hadn't taken place yet and this one dress would make me feel more comfortable, the wolves had completely recovered and I could stay by Conrad's side like I always did. "Otis, you......"

As I walked out of the dressing room I saw a glint in Conrad's eyes, but the next thing I knew he was smiling.

"Otis, come on, let's go check on the clan."

I followed Conrad towards the outside, he pulled me close with his palm so that I could always feel his warmth.

Perhaps it was the short time apart that made me miss him even more, and all I wanted now was to be by his side at every moment.

"Conrad, have we managed to get back to a peaceful life now, it feels like a dream with all the hardships we've been through." "Of course it wasn't a dream."

Conrad led me and pushed open the door of the villa with great force.

"It's all real, the reality of the world is reflected right in front of you, and I promise that I won't put the wolves through any more suffering."

Light shone through the door in front of me, a moment when the sunlight became unbearably blinding, while I saw every familiar face outside the door.

"Otis! Look everyone, she's fine, she's recovered!"

"I heard, it's because of the herbs Otis brought back that the attending doctor was able to configure the antidote that cured us completely!"

"It was Alpha Conrad and Otis together who saved our wolves, they are both saviours!"

The excited voices around me became confused, perhaps because they were so excited that sometimes I couldn't even tell what they were saying.

I stared wide-eyed at their faces, the pallor from the plague had long since disappeared, the dehydration had subsided, and all the clan were completely free of the symptoms of the plague, except for looking a little thin.

"It took all of us for our wolves, not just Conr ad and I. The doctors and staff were the ones who were truly exhausted."

I looked at their plague free faces in this moment of joy, the healthy clan made me feel at peace within, this was the wolf pack I had always wanted to protect.

"Sister Otis!"

Suddenly I felt a small body hug my foot, the familiar voice made my heart jump, then I looked down and pinched the small, round, apple-like cheek. "Nair, are you fully recovered?"

I watched his body carefully, perhaps because of the earlier use of the antidote, he looked almost back to his old self, his blue-black eyes blinking constantly like the wings of a butterfly and I could see some of the slight redness around his eyes. "I'm fine now. Otis, I heard you were in a coma, thankfully you're fine!"

With that said, I suddenly felt a determination coming from inside his eyes and also spoke up loudly with a childish voice.

"I'm going to train hard and become as strong as Conrad, so I can beat all those bad guys!"

I looked at his serious and childish expression and suddenly couldn't help but laugh, accompanied by a series of laughter around me.

All the clansmen around us laughed, almost all of them amused by the child's cuteness, but there was also a lot of relief in their eyes for him.

These children were the future of the pack.

"Otis, you've been lying down for three days, you need to move around a bit."

A sudden surge of strength came from my palm and I saw the charming smile appear on Conrad's face.

"I think you're right." I leaned closer to him in that moment.

The sky was almost cloudless today and the whole wolf pack became very bright in the sunlight, the wind blowing in front of us was free of any disgusting scent and there was even some scent of toasted bread.

I followed Conrad as he walked through the wolves' buildings and I could see that the clan around me had returned to their normal lives by this time.

All the clan were able to move freely around the roads, no longer closed off, smiles could be seen on every clan face and the whole pack was not only rejuvenated, but revitalised.

The shouts of the warriors could be heard from far away in the direction of the training ground, and the other clan members of various professions started their work early.

Such scenes that would have seemed commonplace in the past, but I felt a peaceful happiness as I watched them again.

In the Blue-moon Pack, Conrad led me in every direction, but by the time I got close to the direction of the gate, my pupils contracted slightly at that moment.

For I saw some of the blood that hadn't dried up on the land at the gate, and it was clear that there had been a battle that had only recently taken place.

A battle, could it be those warriors of the Dusk Pack that were chasing me?

As if a stone had fallen into the lake within me at that moment, I turned my head once more to look at the peaceful wolves.

If the Dusk Pack's warriors had really attacked my pack three days ago, my weakened clan had no resistance at all, and with Conrad alone, hadn't the pack suffered any casualties?

Nervousness spread through my mind, and my sudden halting footsteps took on a somewhat tentative tone.

"Conrad, when I returned with the antidote, I was once ambushed by Dusk Pack warriors, could it be that our wolves ......"

"Don't worry about it."

I saw Conrad's eyes take on a confidence at this point.

"Three days ago Dusk Pack warriors tried to sneak up on us, but they all turned into corpses, after that another legion of Wolf Pack warriors approached, but when they saw me they had retreated." "Were any of the clan hurt by the fighting?"

"No one was hurt."

With Conrad's voice, the confident light in his eyes seemed to shine as brightly as the sun.

"I have gained a new ability from the Wolf Pearl and now we, the Blue-moon Pack, no longer fear any enemy, we can destroy all obstacles in front of us."

After saying this he looked further into the forest and the borderless sky.

"In another month when the pack's clan has fully recovered, we will be able to attack the Dusk Pack directly, even if it is the Dusk Pack with Kazan, our pack will become a true kingdom."
