Otis's POV:

Is this what it feels like to gain power?

When I arrived inside the forest and transformed into a wolf, I was shocked by the power that filled my body.

A furnace full of energy seemed to be inside my body, and I only needed to use the power gently, and I could feel the huge energy flowing inside my body.

I ran on the dirt of the forest, the strong wind blowing in front of me did not give me any hindrance, I saw that my fur had turned completely silvery white, and it was as if there was a power contained in my fur.

When the strong wind blows from the front, the fur seems to have filtered the pressure of the wind and become a pass to travel through the wind, no matter how I enhance my speed, the strong wind can not bring me much pressure. My limbs ran powerfully on top of the dirt, the power inside my body seemed to have no end, it felt like I was almost flying, it was an addictive feeling.

The feeling of reaching the mountains I used to have to look up to in this instant gave me an addictive rush and I felt my blood churning with excitement.

I had finally become stronger, and now I was going to show my strength completely, so that my lover would truly recognize me.

I continued to run ahead, I had no destination, just relying on the direction of the sun.

The trees that originally had wide leaves around them, those leaves have gradually become narrow and thin, and some small flowers of different colors have appeared in the grass.

When I looked up at the sun, I found that I no longer needed to struggle to lift my neck.

After so much time has passed, I think I should be a solid winner, even if my partner, in the field of speed, which I am good at, he can not surpass me now.

My heart suddenly appeared an inexplicable emotion, I had a desire to be caught by him, I wanted to be caught in his arms.

This desire is like a worm that is tearing at my heart, I want to stop, I want to get closer to Conrad, but when I remembered our race agreement, I used all my strength to suppress this desire.

A sense of victory appeared in my heart, I could not surrender so easily, my speed could continue to improve, I wanted to really prove my strength to him. "You catch me first."

I gave him an aura-filled response, and then I boosted my speed once again.

The power of the Moon God flowed inside my blood, every muscle and every meridian of mine became incredibly powerful, and at this moment I used all of that power.

The wind pressure blowing in front of me became stronger, but when it swept over my fur it only blew backwards, as if these forest spirits did not want to hinder me.

The surrounding trees turned into phantoms, and I seemed to become a wind, distance in front of me as if not like distance, that is just the wind in a moment where it needs to blow through.

But despite this, the tantalizing scent behind me was like a ghost that kept following me, bewitching my nerves and making me addicted.

The surroundings changed again, the ground grew more flowers, and the scent of the flowers mixed with the scent behind me, but it still couldn't cover up the addictive feeling. Conrad was right behind me, and he was no more than ten feet away!

The feeling that I was about to be caught made my heart beat fast, and my nerves, lust, and desire to win mingled inside me.

It turns out that his speed can reach this level, even after I obtained the power of the Moon God, he is still able to keep up with me in my area of expertise.

If this continues, I will be caught by him sooner or later!

I felt those emotions inside me become more complicated, my eyes quickly looked around, and suddenly some shorter trees in front of me attracted my attention.

The sunlight overhead made my body warmer, and I continued to sprint toward the top of the mountain with the light.

I was about to reach the top of the mountain, the closest place to the sun.

The sunlight became more enthusiastic at this moment, and the wind at the top of the mountain blew those leaves to a rattling sound, like the enthusiastic cheering of the forest, and it was as if I had ascended to the stage of victory on top of this glorious mountain top.

I felt that I had some relaxation, and just when I wanted to take a deep breath of the air at the top of the mountain, there was once again an additional fragrance inside my nose.

The scent instantly reached the depths of my brain and made my body shake for a moment.

It was Conrad's scent! He was following me!

The woods behind me were so dense that Conrad's strong body should not be able to get through easily, but why...

I didn't have time to think about it, my relaxation was gone for good, I put my speed up again, and I was out of there in a flash.

But no sooner had I crossed the distance of a few dozen feet, I was forced to stop in my tracks.
