Otis's POV: "Dizzy?"

I felt some concern as I listened to Conrad's voice, and then I held his forehead with my hand.

"Could it be that there is some fever."

I carefully felt his body temperature, but there was no rolling sensation coming from his forehead.

"Probably I'm too tired, I should be fine after I sleep, it's nothing serious."

Suddenly I felt Conrad's hand holding my cheek, his voice had some weakness in it, but with an unmistakable tenderness. "Otis you know, I never thought this day would come, you earned the approval of the entire wolf pack by your own efforts." Here he suddenly grinned, as if his excessive movement had driven the wound on his body.

"Don't move around."

I gave him a reproachful look, then continued to lick the wound on his shoulder.

"When I first decided to make you Luna, I was thinking about what it would take to establish your prestige inside the wolf pack."

Conrad had a smile on his face, and then his gentle and calm voice echoed in my ears.

"I had thought about giving you tasks to slowly get recognized through merit, and I had also thought about letting you contribute to the meetings so that your wisdom would be recognized, but none of that has come to fruition yet." Speaking of which he looked at me with a gaze that seemed to be radiating a kind of light, which in addition to tenderness seemed to carry a kind of affection, which I knew was the bond between us.

"In the end I did nothing, it was you who achieved everything on your own, what a surprise and unexpected, you are my pride and joy, Otis."

"Conrad, I was just trying to do my part for the wolves.......

My eyes met his, and in this moment I suddenly had the thought that I never wanted to leave his side.

"Otis ....."

Just at this time I suddenly felt a warmth coming from my body, Conrad's body moved, he did not care about the pain of the wound, with his hands a hand pulled me in his arms, a wave of heartache appeared in my heart, but I did not have time to warn him, my voice was already blocked by his lips.

He kissed me hard, but he only kissed me, and when I tried to push him away, I was stopped by the seriousness on his face, the tantalizing scent of his body enveloping me, our lips touching and not parting for a long time.

"Otis, I swear by my faith to the moon that I will always love you, faith and the moon are immortal, and what I say is equally so."

"Conrad, I love you too......"

The warmth of the aftermath of this battle was etched deep inside my memory, and in his warmth and inviting scent, I licked his wounds until he lay in bed and drifted off to sleep.

His breathing became calm, his wounds had all scabbed over, he closed his eyes peacefully, his golden hair seemed to become lazy at this moment, they had some messy hanging on the edge of his cheeks, looked to have a serene flamboyance.

I stroked Conrad's smooth and angular cheeks, watching his sleeping appearance gradually lost in thought, his breath was full of heat and tempting, which made me lean on his chest, quietly feeling his body heat and breath.

It would be nice to be able to be like this forever.

I thought silently in my mind and couldn't help but hug him tighter, the electricity coming from his skin made me addicted to it until I lost consciousness.

I seemed to have a dream in which I put on a beautiful white gown and became Luna of the Blue-moon Pack under the watchful eyes of all my friends and clan members of the Blue-moon Pack.

It was a long, long dream, but by the time it disappeared, I felt it was too short and I wanted to continue to maintain the beauty of the dream.

I don't know how long it took, but I suddenly opened my eyes. I thought I would be lying on the edge of the bed in the same position as I fell asleep before, but I didn't expect to be lying on the bed in Conrad's arms at this time. "Well, you're awake?"

The warm and inviting scent kept wrapping around me, Conrad had woken up at some point, he was holding me in his arms and his other hand was holding some papers.

I leaned on his chest and looked out the window, and found that the light outside was already somewhat dim. Conrad seemed to be trying not to wake me up, he didn't turn on the lights, but instead lit a candle with a faint glow, and he was wearing a pair of gold- rimmed glasses, looking at the contents of the papers.

"Is it almost night already, I didn't think I'd be sleeping for so long."

I spoke in a lazy voice, and this time I suddenly stopped for a moment and suddenly lifted my head up.

"OH, I forgot you were injured!"

I had some nervousness to get off his body because my weight might press on his wound, but I didn't expect a huge force from his hand that held me in place, making my head press against his chest again. "Don't worry, it's almost healed. Compared to this pain, I'd rather be with you."

The hot breath of his breath caressed the base of my ear, his warm tone seemed to melt me, I felt some heat on my face, then I didn't continue to resist and rested my head on his chest.

"I sent Marsh to deal with the aftermath of the battle, I don't know how it is now, after this battle, I don't think Dusk Pack will continue to attack."

"Why don't we go check it out now, after this sleep, I feel my spirit has recovered."

At the sound of my voice, Conrad's eyebrows twitched, and then I felt a surge of strength coming from my body as I was once again picked up by him.

"Good, although this time slept straight into the evening, but now just experienced the great war, the whole wolf pack should not have settled down yet."

After saying that Conrad and I changed out of our clothes that had become somewhat torn after the battle, and then walked out of the villa.

The wolf pack at dusk looked a bit depressed, although this was Conrad's villa, and there was some distance between it and the other buildings, but a glance could also show the partial damage of the whole pack.

Many of the building's glass and wooden doors have been destroyed, the ground holds a lot of debris, and from here, looking toward the center of the battlefield, you can still see the stinging blood red.

A sad atmosphere appeared at some point, I felt some dimming in Conrad's deep blue pupils at this moment, although he did not show it, but I could feel the heaviness in his heart.

"Dusk Pack, this revenge I also take down, one day I will make you regret today's actions!"

Suddenly I heard Conrad's firm voice, and then he pulled me towards the center of the battlefield.

It was the residential area of Blue-moon Pack, where the battlefield was chosen at that time because of the dense buildings.

As we got closer to the residential area, some walking figures appeared in our line of sight. It seemed that because of the end of the war, these people who had entered the safe house were picked up, and at the same time I saw a familiar and small figure running towards me. "Sister Otis, I finally see you!"

A little boy ran while crying, his eyes filled with moisture looked towards me, I saw not only sadness but also hope in his eyes.

He opened his tiny hands and seemed to want to rush over and hug me, but Conrad frowned and stepped in front of me.

"Whose kid are you?"

I looked at Conrad's puzzled gaze and couldn't help but smile, then pulled his hand.

"Conrad, I know this kid, don't worry."

After saying that I walked forward and let him hug me, then I ran my hand through his blond hair.

"Nell, what's going on, the war is over, why are you so flustered?"

"Otis sister, my grandmother has fainted, please save her!"

Nair said anxiously, seemingly because he was so panicked, his face was already filled with a round flush, making his cheeks look like an apple with some translucent red. "Is that the aged lady?"

I listened to his voice and for some reason my heart skipped a beat and I felt a bad feeling.

What the hell was going on, the Dusk Pack had retreated, why did I still have this bad feeling, could something be going on?

"There are a lot of doctors in the wolf pack, where did they go?"

Conrad spoke with some doubt after hearing our conversation, this time with some tenderness inside his voice, as if the young boy's emotions had infected him.

After Nel heard Conrad's voice his emotions seemed to smooth out a bit, and he wiped the tears from his face with his little hand.

"The doctors are healing the warriors, they said that my grandmother just fainted with fever and that they would not treat my grandmother until they were done treating the warriors!"

I heard his voice silent for a moment, now is a special period after the war, according to the normal reasoning, ordinary fever does have to be treated after the turn.

After all, those injured warriors were injured for the sake of the wolves, and if they were not treated for them as a priority, I was afraid that the wolves would lose their inner temperature. But I always felt that there was something wrong somewhere.

Thinking of this, I picked up Nell's body and let his small body sit on my shoulder.

"Nell, you don't have to worry, we'll go with you to see."

After saying that we followed Nell's guidance and walked towards the residential area, but the scenery along the way made me feel a sting in my eyes.
