Later that day to make me pay for what I did Jacob had me doubled over in pain. This time we were already in medical when it happened to see if they were making any leeway in their research of what they can do to keep the pain at bay. I feel Chase nod and he injects the serum into my arm five minutes later as the pain recedes, I begin to relax as it seems to help. I breathe a sigh of relief and begin to wipe away the tears that fell.

"How are you feeling, Luna?" Mark asks as he studies me.

I give a weak smile, "It is gone." He nods and smiles back.

Then he looks at Chase, "Alpha, she will need an injection daily to keep the pain away. At least until the old bond can be broken."
