I woke to a familiar pain and cried out as the doctor rushed in. "Luna?"

"No, it can't be happening." I gasped, "I trust him. Could it be I am still bonded to Jacob?" I asked grasping at straws. I didn't want to believe it could be Chase causing this pain.

"No, I am sure that particular bond was broken when he accepted your rejection," Bailey said as she examined me.

It was so painful tears begin to stream down my face. Then just as fast as it began the pain stopped and I was able to breathe again. Only knowing it was caused by the love of my life I couldn't stop the flow of tears. My mate, My Chase betrayed me. That hurt worse than the pain itself. I was crying so hard I was unaware of what Doctor Bailey was doing to my IV until I felt sleepy. Then all went black.

I woke to voices outside my door. I hear Chase's voice asking the Doctor how I was doing.

"She felt the betrayal pain last night." She answered coldly.

"Damn, I knew she would."

Then I hear, "It was a mistake. I didn't cheat on her." I hear a deep breath, "It seems that Lisa claims to be in love with me. I was sound asleep when I woke to her naked and jacking me off. "I will do that. Thank you, Doc," Then I heard the door handle as he opens the door.

I look over and as he noticed I was awake he looked guiltily at me. I reached my hand out towards him and he was hesitant to take it. Then I smiled at him. I believe him. I know he would never intentionally hurt me.

"I heard everything," I whisper to him, and he finally rushes over and takes me in his arms.

"I am so sorry," He said between my breast as I feel tears wetting my gown.

"It wasn't your fault," I begin. "Who would have believed that Lisa could do such a thing?" I pull him away to look at him, "After all, I have a sexy handsome mate that every female desire," Then I smile, "But I am the one who holds his heart." He slams his lips onto mine in a deep kiss that curled my toes.

"I had the bed burned and we now have a new one with all new bedding." He says against my lips. Then he pulled away and looked me in the eyes, "After I kicked her out, I slept on the couch. I refused to sleep on a tainted bed. So, this morning we have a brand new never before slept on bed." He smiled at me, "Are you ready to come home?"

I smiled at his thoughtfulness. "I am so ready."

The Doctor came in and I signed the papers for my discharge. Chase had brought me clean clothes to wear, and I changed into them then we were off to head for home.

Once home Chase grabbed me and lifted me in his arms carrying me to the new bed. "We need to initiate the new bed." He says as he kisses my lips.

"I agree," I say kissing him back.

He carries me to the bed and lays me down and begins to remove my clothes. I reach and grab the hem of his shirt and begin to lift it up and over his head. I can't help but marvel at his fine physique. No wonder females want him...but this man is mine. All mine.
