Abby's POV.

I heaved a sigh as I just couldn't get the right answer to say to him at that point.

"Come on Abby, tell me what's happening! Why are you so quiet?" He inquired.

"Is my property still kicking??" He added with a weird voice which he actually thought was fun to listen to.

"I have to do this, I have to day something to him, I just need to open up about this pregnancy. I can't keep mute forever!" I asserted.

I took in a deep breath as I summoned up courage to do what, I felt, was right at that moment.

He had kept on calling my Child his property, and I wasn't ready to have a child out of wedlock,, so it was best I clarified it for him.

I gripped the handle of the door with a towel wrapped around my chest as it was meant to cover my nakedness.

I inhaled deeply again as I felt nervous about what I was about to do. I needed to look courageous and fierce when speaking to him, so all my preparations were actually worth the delay.

I unlocked the door hook and when I opened it, I saw Jack standing in front of the door with a steady gaze at me.

"You are right Jack!! It's your child and I shouldn't have tried taking him or her away from you!!!" I lied with so much courage in my eyes.

I wasn't sure I had a bit or a pinch of fear as I uttered every little word to him.

For that moment, I felt Alex was going to kill me if he found out, but that wasn't my fault. He left me,, and I wasn't going to just sit and take care of a child for someone who wasn't around me.

"I knew it was mine!!" Jack spoke out of excitement as he walked closer to my side and gave me a long and warm hug.

"At this rate, I think you will kill the baby" I said mockingly.

"My child can't and won't get tired of my grip, so cut the crap." Jack chuckled as he returned my silly statement to him.

He was overly excited that all he did was smile, chuckle, joke around, act all sweet and made sure I slept in heavenly peace.

He stayed with me all through the day and never wished to leave my house until he was sure I was soundly asleep. "Goodnight Abby" I heard his last statement as a kiss on my forehead was felt after his statement.

Jack's POV.

Abby is with my child and I just can't let anything bad happen to her. I will be with her all day and night if need be.

I was sitting on Abby's bed which she laid on as she placed her head on my laps with a bright smile on her face.

"Dream more about me and our child Abby. I am sure he will be so handsome like me" I whispered to my hearing alone as I played with the strands of her hair gently.

I was confident that it made her feel okay and that was why she slept of so quick.

Hearing her tell me she was carrying my baby was actually like a dream come through because I have always dreamt of having my child immediately I get a wife and I must confess, the heavens were really listening to my request. "I guess I now have the key to your heart Abby" I chuckled while I was still on her bed.

She had slept off, and it was getting late, so it was best I went home since it's been a long day for both of us.

"Good night Abby" I kissed her on her forehead after the wish before I regressed out of her room slowly.

I wouldn't want her to wake up or stress my baby in her womb.

I got out of her house soon and getting to mine, I couldn't help but dance for joy.

"I will be a daddy soon." I rejoiced, meaning every word I said.

*****A new dawn.

Abby's POV.

"Good morning Abby!!!" I heard Jack's voice which was so loud as it pulled me out from my dreamland where I had kept on imagining silly things I know won't come to reality. "Good morning Jack...." I opened my eyes as I stared at him without any distraction.

I didn't blink or say a word after greeting him, all I did was stare at him and kept on smiling, knowing I had someone who cared about me.

I think I was falling in love with Jack after all. The fact that he had accepted my kid which wasn't his, was one reason for me to never leave him, regardless of what happens. "What?" Jack asked with a chuckle on his face. He was obviously timid because of my gaze at him, and I knew it.

"You are just so cute, Jack... has anyone told you that before?" I asserted as I sat up on my bed rubbing my hand slightly at the back of my nape.

"Well you have and not just once Abby" He climbed on my bed as he crawled towards my direction slowly.

"Don't tell me you are coming to kiss me Jack... come on I haven't even brushed yet" I tried stopping him, but he wouldn't listen to me.

He kept on coming closer to me with that cute smile of his. Alex could make one's heart brighten up, but Jack's smile, that was the best for me.

My heart fluttered as he kept on crawling closer to where I was sitting.

"I can't stand and stare at an angel without taking its magical powers, Abby" Jack responded.

He got closer to me and placed his right hand on my cheek as he pulled my face closer to his.

"I. Love. You Abby" He kissed me continuously as he ended every word.

"And I love you too, Jack!" I giggled as he turned into a dumb man.
