Kate had arrived in Abby's room just before Jack could and that was surprisingly awkward for Jack.

"What are you doing here Kate?" he asked without looking at Abby.

"Relax Jack.. I was just trying to help you talk to Abby. Isn't that true Abby?" Kate turned to Abby's face as she questioned. "..Yes.. yes. She was" Abby stuttered.
