An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1251
Arthur was slapped so hard across the face that he almost stumbled. A handprint was visible on his cheek.
But he didn’t dare voice his frustration. Instead, he turned around instantly and roared at Trent and his group, “All of this is happening because of all of you!
“What are you doing just standing there? Let them go!” Arthur quickly distanced himself from them to avoid being implicated.
“What?” Trent and his group exchanged glances, unsure of what to do. Although they knew they kidnapped Natasha, they didn’t know where she was being held. Feeling helpless, they could only look to Kate for help.
“In… In the secret room. They’re being held in the secret room.” Kate shrunk back. In the end, she confessed with her head down.
“Hurry! Save them!” Landon cried as he led a group of high-ranking officials straight to the Grant family’s secret room. It was the best chance for them to make amends. Naturally, they had to perform well.
“All of you better pray that Natasha is safe and sound. Otherwise, I will make you pay a heavy price,” Dustin said stoically.
Dustin’s gaze bore into each member of the Grant and Harmon families. It left them trembling with fear as if their souls had left their bodies. As they waited tensely, Natasha and Ruth were found safe. Fortunately, they were unharmed but unconscious.
Dustin walked up to Natasha and carefully checked her condition. He breathed a sigh of relief after confirming her well-being. Now that Natasha was safe, it was time to settle the score.
“Now tell me, how do you intend to resolve this matter today?” Dustin questioned coldly. “Didn’t we already release Natasha? What more do you want from us?” Tyler frowned as he asked. He still couldn’t accept that a nobody was now above him.
“Indeed, you kidnapped them, and you have also let them go. But did all of you would escape the you think consequences just because you let them go?
“Based on your logic, you would be free of guilt if I stabbed you and pulled out the knife,” Dustin countered.
“Then what do you want?” Tyler’s expression was getting ugly.
“It’s simple; hand over the mastermind. Whoever orchestrated this kidnapping should pay the price.” Dustin narrowed his eyes.
“Your Highness! We had nothing to do with this. The Harmons were the ones who planned the kidnapping!” Arthur immediately clarified.
“That’s right! It was all because of the internal strife within the Harmons! They planned all of this!” the Grant family members quickly chimed in.
Since they were in a tight spot and had to protect themselves, they shifted all the blame to the Harmons and denied any wrongdoing.
Otherwise, the entire Grant mansion would be thrown into chaos if Logan became enraged.
“Was it your doing?” Dustin turned his attention to the Harmon family members.
“We…” Trent and the rest of them exchanged glances. They were hesitant and unsure of how to explain themselves. Although they wanted to escape from being blamed, they couldn’t find a scapegoat at such short notice.
Under the watchful eyes of the Grant family, it seemed like they could only accept their fate. “Seems like all of you are involved.” Dustin’s gaze grew colder.
“As relatives of the same bloodline, how could you do something like this? Where is your conscience?” Dustin yelled.
Given the Grant’s and the Harmon’s hostile relationship, he wouldn’t have been so angry if the Grants had been the ones to plan the kidnapping.
