An Understated Dominance
Chapter 2023 by Marina Vittori

As Sophia spoke, she gradually closed the distance and touched Dustin’s robust chest. Her bright eyes glowed subtly, emanating an enchanting allure capable of ensnaring one’s soul.

For ordinary martial artists, just a mere glance was enough to succumb to its captivating influence. This was Harmony Sect’s distinctive Art of Seduction, Blushing Intoxication.

The reason Harmony Sect was able to prosper in the Southwest for so many years was closely tied to the practice of this seductive art.

The more beautiful one was, the higher their proficiency in this art, and the more irresistibly they attracted men.

Sophia had been honing Blushing Intoxication since young, perfecting it over more than a decade.

Coupled with her exceptional figure and looks, few men could resist her charm. Even someone like Jackson from the Embersteel Order couldn’t escape her seductive technique and fell victim to her enchantment.

Sophia believed that if Dustin harbored any affection, or even the slightest desire, she could seize the opportunity and break through his mental defenses, completely captivating him.

“Hey, are you done flirting? If so, go back and rest. Don’t disturb my sleep.”

Dustin remained indifferent in the face of Sophia’s suggestive gestures, his expression even betraying a hint of disgust.

“Huh?” Sophia’s smile stiffened, and she found herself at a loss. Her Art of Seduction had a 100% success rate. Even the most resolute men would show signs of desire when sne teased them.

However, Dustin remained cold as ice, resisting temptation and casting a disdainful gaze at her.

It was an unprecedented situation for her.

“Dustin, I’m lonely and scared to be left alone at night. Can you keep me company?” Sophia feigned vulnerability, transitioning from her previous sexy allure to a pitiable demeanor.

“No,” Dustin snapped.1

“Uh…” Sophia was stumped.

Despite displaying her seductive techniques to the extreme, Dustin showed no signs of desire.

Sophia began to doubt her desirability. How was it that her usually foolproof Blushing Intoxication had no effect on Dustin?

Sophia wondered if he wasn’t interested in women. Yes, That must be it! Only gay men would remain indifferent to her.

Sophia finally realized why her tricks had been ineffective against Dustin. He must have a special preference.

“Dustin, to be honest, Harmony Sect not only has beautiful female disciples but also some handsome male disciples as well.

“If that’s your preference, I can arrange for them to come up, and you can take your pick.” Sophia gave him a knowing smile.

“Huh?” Dustin frowned, finally losing his patience.

“Sophia, let me be clear. I’m not interested in men, and especially not in you. I don’t care what you’re planning, but you’d better abandon them. Now, please leave!”

As soon as he finished speaking, a subtle quiver ran through Dustin’s body, and a powerful surge of energy pushed Sophia several steps backward, nearly causing her to lose her balance.

Dustin then slammed the door shut and retreated to his bed. After receiving the cold shoulder, Sophia’s once amiable expression grew dark and hostile.

She had put in her utmost effort, including compromising her dignity. Yet, Dustin ignored her completely and kicked her out instead.

She felt humiliated.

“Fine! Since you’d rather do it this way, we have no choice but to play rough!” Sophia clenched her fists and left angrily.
