Anything For You -
Chapter 112
"We are leaving Tomorrow morning. Do you also want to join us, or still want to stay here for more time?" It was Akhim who was asking Estella and Valor, both of them sitting in front of him in the balcony, while he was serving them some night tea. Initially, they were too reluctant to leave their respective rooms, but Akhim's persistence won over, when he said he had a huge announcement. Hearing what he said, both of them halted sipping the tea and whipped their heads upwards to meet Akhim's pair of eyes, which had glimpses of experience and age in them, but he was having a satisfying expressions. Then both of them spare silent glances to each other, with mixed expressions and unknown feelings that they had been fighting.
Do they really want to leave like this? This was a question that they were asking themselves, for a long time. For Estella, there wasn't anything left anymore. But what about Valor? Did he want to leave? Or he wanted to, but couldn't, because he had to search his little rat, her soul, and all the pieces. And certainly, all this couldn't be done in this single night. He knew one thing for sure that he definitely needed to calm his mind, before doing anything again.
Yes, he needs more time. And so, he responded to Akhim, keeping the tea cup down over the saucer, which made a certain audible sound to grab everyone's attention successfully,
"Well, Akhim, I don't think I can leave so soon. I mean, I still have some tasks in hand which needs my assistance and they surely can't be done within this one night. So, I may not be able to join you." He was certain that he made his point exactly the way he wanted it to be interpreted and an assuring look aver Akhim's face confirmed it more.
Averting his gaze towards Estella, Akhim was wondering for her response, and asked again, but this time with his eyes. But there was still no response from her side, which made the both men slightly confused. This time Valor took the initiative to pull her out of the thoughts, she had been having since when,
"Estella, what is your say in this? Do you want to still be here, or just leave Tomorrow with Akhim and Egon?" Valor knew for sure that if Akhim says they are leaving then it includes both Egon and Akhim, since they always stuck together. His eyes were darted over her lips which were still kissing the cup edges, while her eyes were immensely glued to the contents it had.
After a second, she stopped sipping the contents, that were warming her gut, and replied back,
I would also leave. But since we came here together, don't you think we should be leaving together too?" Her first response was for Valor, but the second questioning response was neatly reserved for Akhim. Before Akhim could reply back, she continued,
"I mean, if Valor says that he needs to finish something, can't we just wait for that time? Then we all can leave together. What's the rush, Akhim?" Her questions were totally genuine. She knew who Egon was, but didn't confront him. Because she was aware of the fact that he wasn't at fault. She knew that he was the crowned king after his father, still she was in an utter desire of answers, which Akhim wasn't able to give her.
"Actually, Your Majesty! I mean, the king, would want us back by now, since it's been too long that we left the kingdom. We cant delay much, and wait the forces to join us here." Akhim tried to sound as reasonable as possible, so that the duo ahead of him could believe his words.
Estella only smiled faintly, and nodded her head in assurance. Her next words were about to pop out, but they all heard a magnetic voice calling Akhim. All of those heads whipped towards that particular direction and they saw Egon standing at the other side of balcony, with his hands tucked into his lose robe pockets and expressions blank.
Akhim hauled up from his sit and immediately approached his side saying,
"Your Majesty, I mean Egon, I have prepared everything for tomorrow. I wanted to ask them both for joining us, but Valor denied saying that he still something to do. While Estella, wants us to wait a bit more so that we could leave together. I don't think it's a good idea, though."
"Hmm." Egon just nodded and then turned towards his room, before ordering Akhim,
"Prepare that artifact, Akhim. Evanora wants it. I want to hand it over to her before leaving."
-YOUNGBLOOD RESIDENCE-
Here after Egon's departure, Evanora was immersed in deep thoughts. She knew that if Egon was leaving tomorrow, then it must also be possible that Estella would leave too. She couldn't afford it. Besides, she never thought that helping Valor would take so much of a time, that she would be left with no other possibilities and time to think about the matter concerning Estella.
Taking very fast and long strides, she moved towards her magic room where she had kept all the artifacts and things which she always used while performing magic. Looking here and there, finally she found that golden pot which contained the fairy dust from that little fairy.
"I must find this fairy's soul pieces fastly. Only then I will be able to control Estella and her powers."
Sitting tightly cross-legged over the red marble floor, which gave off the aura of spilled blood everywhere in first glance, she felt the soothing magic flowing in mother earth. Being a witch, she always had to be close to earth. Touching the ground with respect, she closed her eyes slowly, and chanted some spells, which lead to the appearance of some more magical pots. Arranging all those six new pots, she whispered as if talking to someone,
"Let us find you girl. I wish you to appear in my magical vision soon, because I have so many other things to take care of right now."
The golden pot was kept in the center while all the other six pots were arranged around it like the petals of a flower. Soon, there was heard only her voice chanting the spells,
"Vanit Visione Mea... Venit Visione Mea.... Venit Visione Mea..." Her voice was getting louder and louder with every chant, and the air in that room started to turn it's color and the oddly smelling surroundings were replaced by a fresh natural fragrance. This was an indication that she was very close to getting her objective fulfilled right now. Resting her other free palm over the ground too, she sat down in another position connecting her both palms and souls with the ground. She did that only because she knew that the fairy spirit was way too powerful, and her magic alone wasn't sufficient to handle it. Hence, she needed to channelize more earthly magic.
Suddenly, all the kept over things, the crystal balls, the magical artifacts, the curtains everything started to move fastly and shook from their respective places. Someone was doing it purposely. Evanora was still persistent and kept on chanting. Her chants were getting louder and louder, and the shaking objects started to fall down from their respective drawers, leading to broken balls and some of the things.
But all this didn't stop the witch. She was adamant on doing it, by hook or by crook. Emitting blue darting flames from one of her palms, she threw off the flame ball over that golden pot, and everything went back to normal. A satisfactory smile crept over her red lips, and she smirked in her victory.
The chanting stopped and the lid of that golden pot opened up on its own. The golden fairy dust started coming out on its own and got equally divided into seven different pots, the one as golden pot and the rest all six arranged around it. Evanora was watching all this silently waiting for the exact time to come so that she could clear her questions.
After all the things happened, the pots got covered with their respective lids and got neatly arranged in a line one after the other and adopted different colors, the first one being golden, the second green and so on. This wasn't expected by the witch.
'Her soul got shredded into pieces, so the arrangement of fairy dust into these pits is understandable, but why the colors!' she was in her thoughts, when she heard the same voice in her ears that she heard back in fairy land. Being alarmed immediately, Evanora snapped her head towards the direction of that voice, hoping to find someone there. But in vain.
She didn't find anyone except a question buzzing in her ears in a faint soothing voice, "LOOKING FOR ME..!?"
