Anything For You
Chapter 130

The gatekeeper of Royal ROXFLOOD KINGDOM made an announcement of the Royal prince entering the court with two of the culprits. The king FAUST BRAVER ROXFLOOD was discussing some of the state affairs with other ministers since it was early in the day and the court hours were up to the third half of the day. As soon as the announcement of Prince's arrival was made, the ministers started whispering amongst each other.

It was nothing new to them that this time too the reason of his visit could be something concerning with the SOOPERS. Since past few decades, he had taken charge over the highers and officials recruited for choosing and buying SOOPERS. Most of the time, his court visits were related to them only.

The king noticed those Chaos and held the side of his throne a bit tightly, knowing what he had to do now. Every now and then his son visited him regarding the SOOPERS, he had to give up some of his men, his loyal vampires just to maintain the law: Not to smuggle the Humans as SOOPERS.

The prince HERBEW BRAVER ROXFLOOD, entered inside the court; his Dominating aura and red murderous eyes enough to calm the courtroom and a drop-dead silence crept over everywhere giving off the feel of a graveyard. Not even a single person was breathing loudly. The man smirked registering the effect he had on everyone. Approaching the king, he bowed in respect,

"Greetings, My Lord."

"Raise" The king ordered and smiled proudly over the fact that his son would be a great lord in future after him noticing everyone who was quite the moment he stepped inside that courtroom.

"I have a matter to report." Herbew suggested in the softest and polite tone, but it carried depth.

The king nodded and permitted him to carry ahead. There were heard the noises of two vampires being dragged in the courtroom. Both of them were tied over their hands and were pushed again amd again to make them move fastly. Herbew, who had been standing way far away from them both sighed, and said,

"The lord is not free for you both. Move quickly..."

Both the vampires moved immediately. Everyone noticed the reaction: no pushing anymore. That's something great.

"Report." The king ordered.

Herbew nodded and gestured one of his guards to step forward in order to report everything, who briefed what the accomplice said in the city and the case of smuggling Humans as SOOPERS.

The king listened to everything patiently. Once the guard finished his part, the king questioned Herbew,

"Why didn't you report it to me instead of this guard?"

Herbew smiled with that cheeky smile and peered a deadly, sarcastic glance over some of the vampire ministers, who averted their gazes from his handsome face knowing fully well the reason, responding to his father: The Lord,

"My lord, I couldn't digest the fact that some people think I have ulterior motives towards the loyal vampire soldiers. So, I let that guard brief everything since he was also present there."

The king also knew what Herbew had been referring to. He further questioned,

"Since you can punish them, you have the authority, why did you instead present them here?"

"My lord, I wanted to. But since the law was made by you, I didn't find it good to take charge as long as the Lord is here. Herbew replied back bowing a little once again. Some of the ministers were taken aback with his polite gestures.

The two men who had been standing all together this while, were getting afraid with each passing by moment. The accomplice didn't dare of lift his head and peek over here and there. While the horse-rider was mesmerized with the beauty of that courtroom. It was a lavish and sight to behold.

His eyes were almost popped out of the sockets realizing that the throne was made of all gold with diamonds and rare rubies studded into it. He had been working as a guide for white some years, but had never ever stepped inside the courtroom. The chandelier that had been hanging above his head was looking out of the box with all the red rubies shining in it and the ministers sat over platinum chairs.

The floor was marbled with fine tiles and proved that the courtroom indeed belonged to a royal blooded Vampire King. He was so busy enjoying the beautiful scenario that for a moment he even forgot to pay attention to the fact that he was summoned here to punish.

"Stop drooling already." Herbew said coming closer to him with a chuckle. The man immediately was pulled to the ground and looked at Hebew. At this time he clearly understood that this deadly chuckle was prince Hebew's signature step. What he had to understand more.

"Yes, it's my signature step. But the meaning it hold is veryyy different." Herbew whispered beside his ears. He mind read the man and answered him before the Lord could even notice.

"I heard it out. Do you both have anything to say? Or you plead guilty!" The Lord didn't want to drag this matter any longer. He had many important Kingdom matters to attend. As soon as he said those words, the accomplice hastily kneeled staggering and started pleading to forgive him, while the horse-rider one followed too,

"My Lord, I .. I didn't have any idea of his smuggling. I didn't do this crime. Please spare my life, My Lord." He started whining, which was irritating Herbew. But because he was standing in the courtroom he didn't utter any words and let the Lord decide, or else he would have snapped this talking duck's head long ago.

"Fine, The accomplice of yours will be punished according to ROXFLOOD KINGDOM laws. But since, you had always been a loyal subject. I am sliding it this time. But there won't be a second time. Guards....

Take this culprit to the under-prison and let him starve for five days. After that open the window for sunlight to enter."

The guards immediately dragged the accomplice who kept on shouting and yelling, pleading guilty and asking for forgiveness. His cries echoed in the courtroom and then up to the corridor, before the silence again found its way in there.

"And you, collect the data all those SOOPERS, and go to their respective houses. Offer the right amount to their family members. Also, you will be doing this personally. If anybody happens to have no family members, let that money slide into that SOOPERS' account here in Vampire kingdom." As the Lord made his judgement, the horse-rider fell over his knees. If he could have cried, he would have surely did. The Lord spared him, had mercy over him. He was alive, and given a second chance. But why was he still feeling chills in his backbone! Turning his head back, he found Herbew looking at him with his soul-piercing gaze as if he would sat him alive. He lowered his gaze and thanked the Lord for sparing him. The king dismissed everything and the courtroom started its session. Herbew was about to leave, when he heard the King,

"Herbew, take your sit. The court is still not over."

It was the last thing Herbew wanted to do. He was never interested in court matters, but he couldn't also possibly defy the Lord also. Having left with no other options, he agreed and took his spot besides the Finance minister, who was an old Vampire, probably 700 years old. He smiled faintly to Herbew who didn't bother to return the gesture.

The situation eased up inside the room. The minister of external affairs hauled up from his sit and asked the king for his permission so that he could present his part. The king allowed and gestured him to continue.

Mr. Wades had been the Minister of External affairs since two centuries. He looked a bit old with some of the gray hairs peeking out of all the blacks like a naughty child from the window, but he was always a calm figure. Since he was handed over the responsibility of External affairs, ROXFLOOD KINGDOM had been on great terms with the other parties and business persons outside the kingdom.

The most fruitful achievement he made was to maintain peace amongst the vampires and werewolves. He was one of the most respected personal after the Lord and royals. Retrieving a piece of paper from his pocket, he bowed a bit and then continued, "My Lord, we have received an invitation to attend the branch opening ceremony of CAVARA industries by Mr. CIMBERLAND. They have personally invited us."

"Hmm.. I see. Cimberland is really spreading its feet into the market. Do I have to really go?" The Lord asked.

"I.." before Mr. Wades could say anything, Herbew asked,

"May I..?"

"Go ahead." The Lord permitted and he immediately blurted out,

"We are vampires, not humans. Why do we have to entertain that old fellow! Anyhow, his parties are always boring." Herbew said earning a light set of laughter from the other ministers.

"From this light laughter, I can see most of you agree with Herbew. But still, he had helped us in establishing a lot of business connections in human world. So, we can't deny. What do you suggest Mr. Wades?" The king asked.

"I think, it's not a good move for the Lord to personally visit there. Instead, you can send someone from the royal family. I thin...."

"No, no no. I won't be going at all." Before Mr. Wades could suggest, Herbew poked his nose and rejected the never made decision. Mr. Wades laughed out and the king joined too.

"Well, both of your cousins are out of the kingdom. They won't be returning any time soon. I have sent FREVER (Herbew's uncle, the king's younger brother) to east part of country. Who else will go?" The king made a thinking face.

"If my Lord is okay, then We can send Princess CALISTA. Also she likes to enjoy human parties." Mr. Wades suggested. Everybody in the kingdom knew how jolly their princess was. She was always ready for parties.

"Well, that seems a good idea too. It's final then." The king made that decision, and the same moment Princess Calista stepped inside the castle.
