Anything For You
Chapter 160

"Nexus, meet me in the Witmourn Raft Kingdom." Timothy aka Silvan mind-linked with one of the soldiers from Dark Souls who had been captivated in the Dark Alley of Siesta Valley. Since he had managed to grab a hold of Timothy's body, Silvan wanted the same freedom for his people. And only success in this mission could grant him that wish.

"But, Lord... there are holy flowers everywhere. I can't step out of the dungeon even if I want to. How would I escape then?" Nexus questioned Silvan, who had almost forgotten about those flowers. Only the King was able to remove that barrier of holy flowers. Silva thought for a moment while heading towards the Witmourn Raft Kingdom,

"You stay in your place. Head guard Trevor himself will let you out. Once you are out of the dungeon, don't look for any vessel to contain yourself, just head towards the Witmourn Kingdom. I will tell you everything there."

"Yes, My lord," Nexus responded and started waiting for Trevor's arrival.

"Cant you find him at all? He is a mere human. What is taking you so long to locate him?" Trevor almost lost his self-control over the men he had assigned to locate Timothy on the orders of Dankein.

"Royal Guard, it is true that he is just a human. But I find it very strange that we...even after being much more powerful...can't seem to locate him. It seems that he is not leaving any tracks behind. Last we found him exiting the Siesta valley and then...we don't have any clues where he went to." The other guard reported.

Trevor turned back and looked at him, only to find him being suspicious. He didn't give him any seconds to think and ordered,

"Shoot."

The guard whipped his head back to Trevor and leaned into him so that his lips almost went closer to Trevor's ears,

"Royal Guard, I have an assumption that he is no longer the Timothy we knew. I think that he had been used as a vessel, and the man controlling him is none other than Silvan." The guard stepped back after sharing his suspicions.

Trevor knew the whole truth, but because of King's orders, he couldn't let himself say those words.

"We aren't certain about that. Just find his tracks first and we will check this assumption of yours later."

"He is here. I found him. He is heading towards the...Witmourn...Raft...King...Kingdom!" The thin and lean Dream-catcher mumbled gaining attention from everyone. The Witmourn Raft Kingdom was a name known to all folks.

It was a place in the middle of nowhere. There were no kings, no queens. Anyone from anywhere was allowed to enter and leave according to their will. It was a decorated place with few animals and plants, yet a scary place. The land was spread over miles. Legends had it that there lived a Witch, who could move the realms with her witchcraft, but later she was cursed. Why and how...nobody knew.

"If he is entering the Witmourn Raft Kingdom, then it only means that he wants to send a message. You... try to locate him and talk to him. Find out what he wants." Trevor pointed at the dream-catcher who just reported the whereabouts of Timothy. "My Lord... He...he wants to talk to you." The dream-catcher reported shrieked.

"Fine...Link us." Trevor ordered the man and he closed his eyes. Within no time, he could see Timothy sitting on a royal black horse dressed in royal clothes with a sinister smile plastered over his face giving off a dangerous aura.

"I thought it will take some time. But you are quick. I must admit that King Dankein Cosh has brave soldiers." Timothy said with the mind-link.

"The King ordered me to find your exact location," Trevor said in his mind.

"I know. Let him know that I will reach the mountains by dusk. And if he wants me to fulfill his task, he must let go of my soldier Nexus. I need him here. So, go and recite my request to him." Saying that Timothy just vanished from Trevor's sight and the latter quickly ran to Dankein Cosh's chambers.

"Trevor...! Why are you panting like this? Have you probably tracked Timothy?" Dankein enquired finding Trevor in an uneasy situation. He had only seen Trevor like this once, and that was forty years ago when some vampires attacked the Siesta Valley for quenching their thirst. His rush and hurry were clear enough to let Dankein guess the urgency of the situation.

"Your Highness... We have found that Timothy has been steering towards the Witmourn Raft Kingdom, and... and he wants Nexus to accompany him. He...told me to convey this to you, and wishes to talk to you through the..."

Dankein didn't a low Trevor to finish his part and instead turned his back and dwelled in deeper thoughts. The mention of Witmourn Raft Kingdom had resurfaced some horrible memories he had buried deep down in the shallow pits of his being. Composing himself, he ordered,

"Connect me to Timothy." And dismissed him.

In no time, the dream-catcher who succeeded to contact Timothy was summoned and was talking to Dankein. Explaining him everything, in brief, the dream-catcher interpreted,

"Your Highness... I am a mere soldier. You are way too powerful. It will be exceedingly difficult for me to hold the mind-link beyond one minute. So, I urge you to do the briefing, and I also won't be able to re-establish the link."

Dankein nodded in agreement and closed his eyes. Spotting a royal black horse running in the desolated, barren area, Dankein came to know who was the rider and what that area was.

"Silvan, I have made myself clear that I won't allow freedom to any of your fellow men. How can you demand Nexus now?"

Paying attention to Dankein, Timothy aka Silvan jeered,

"I know what was the deal. But I can't keep doing it myself. I need my man Nexus. He is a dark soul and he won't be prone to disasters. Also, I have some doubts which need to be washed off. Only Nexus can do that. If you want me to succeed, send me Nexus in the Witmourn Raft Kingdom." "No other body or soul would be harmed in my Kingdom!" Dankein exclaimed with anxiousness.

"I promise there won't be any harm in your Kingdom. Hurry now, we don't have much time. You know you must choose wisely, King Cosh." Timothy ended the conversation and broke off the mind-link.

Dankein gave it a second thought. Ordering Trevor,

"Trevor, Go to the Dark Alley and release Nexus. You know there are Holy flowers and how to remove them. Do it immediately."

"Yes, Your Highness." Trevor left for the Dark alley of Castle.

"Nexus, Trevor would be there any time soon. As soon as he removed the Holy flower from your room, leave. Leave immediately. And this is an order. Find me in the Witmourn Kingdom within seconds and cleanse yourself on the way with sand and air." Silvan aka Timothy ordered Nexus with his mind-link and slowed down his pace. "Whosoever you are, I will surely find you," Timothy whispered to himself looking at the sun that was about to set within two hours.

The fourth day was about to pass and Scarlet still was dazed. Emerald had been looking at the setting sun standing in the open window of his room where Scarlet was sleeping on his king-sized bed. The view he used to enjoy the most had now become heart- breaking. Looking at the blissful beauty, he murmured,

"Only Moon Goddess knows when I started loving you so hopelessly that I feel like I am being suffocated without you."

Taking a few steps towards the bed, he discarded his brown branded shoes and entered in the soft rosy blanket with her holding her fragile body in his strong arms as if she was a doll and he was going to break her.

Closing his eyes, he rested Scarlet's head over his chest feeling that she was caressing his muscles when he felt something move over his hand. Finding the little chinchilla walking over his hand, a smile visited his lips and he carried the little pet. "Ammy, mommy is sleeping. I told you to wake her up. But looks like you only listen to her..!" Saying that he kept the little Chinchilla over his stomach with a sigh.

The Chinchilla moved over again tickling him, but Emerald was in no mood of enjoying it. He started to caress Scarlet's shoulder hoping to warm her body and get her back from the Neverland of that sleep when he found her hold over his chest muscles getting stronger.

Snapping his eyes open with the speed of light, he witnessed the miracle happening; something he had been waiting for days.
