Chapter 196

"Are you alright?" Emerald asked Scarlet stepping out of the castle holding her hand tightly. The girl was going through a lot of emotions right now. Suddenly, she got to encounter her birth mother, her supernatural powers and so much.

Scarlet didn't say anything and kept stepping the stairs. It was still dark outside and the time was merely 5:00 a.m. All the things Ginevra said to her had been going through her mind. She was not the same Scarlet. She was someone else, someone new who wanted to eradicate Evanora for what that Witch had done. She didn't pay attention to Emerald's words. Oy Ginevra's last words kept reverberating in her head,

"You have so many different powers in you right now. But that which has every shred of them. She knows your strengths, but don't let her be cognizant of your weakness. Don't let one personality dominate you. Keep them all along and fight till the end. You are Trinity, Estella, Locasta, Ragnara, Artellia, Calista, and Sedna. Don't let any one of them overpower you. Merge all of them and then attack."

"Love!" Emerald's voice pulled Scarlet out of trance and she looked at him with so many confused expressions interwoven like a network from which there was no way out. Emerald just squeezed her palms and caressed her hair.

"Can I hug you?" Scarlet asked him meekly. Before he replied, Emerald wrapped her in a tight bear hug letting her inhale his scent and snuggle into him. She felt relaxed and eased. Once Emerald was sure that she was fine, he let go of her.

"Baby, it's okay if you want some time. We can wait for some time." Emerald was worried about Scarlet. Although he had announced that only he would be joining in the war, Ginevra, and Shala both denied his decision saying that he won't be able to fight the witch alone and that he must fight along with Scarlet for it wasn't only his war, but it was their war.

"No. We can't. I need to call Osiris and Oz. Besides, we have only some hours before the war. I don't want to waste time on useless thoughts. Moreover, you are with me." Scarlet said cheering up and Emerald captured her plump lips for a sweet soft kiss escorting her to the car.

"We need the other wolves with us. I will tell Jack to do this." Emerald said starting the car and calling Jack. The call went by and Jack picked up after four rings. He was sleeping soundly after a tiring night with Jenny and the girl was asleep in his arms snuggling into his chest when his phone rang.

"Hello..." Jack whispered from the other side in his sleepy voice. Just his tone was enough for Emerald to know that he had t checked the caller ID.

"Jack, where are you?" Emerald asked, still driving and Scarlet's full focus was on the conversation.

"Alpha. Alpha?.......I was sleeping...what happened?" Jack flinch hearing Emerald from the other side. Emerald narrowed his brows,

"Did you get laid, Jack?" A straightforward question it was. Jack immediately moved and while doing so, Jenny's cotton breast brushed his bare chest giving his dick a hard time. The girl moved and moaned in sleep because of this snuggling more into Jack. Before Jack could reply, Emerald, barked, "Don't you dare to lie? I heard it."

'Shit' Jack cursed and caressed Jenny's head softly to ease her disturbed sleep. "Alpha, I am with my girlfriend. She is sleeping." Jack's voice held the urge to let Emerald know that he should keep his voice a bit down. It was a brotherly request. Scarlet and Emerald both exchanged shocked glances and Emerald continued,

"Fine. I want you to inform our wolf friends about the war. We just received an official war letter from Dankein in our castle that the war will be happening in the Witmourn Raft Kingdom. So, gather everyone and make them understand everything." Emerald was about to hang up when Jack asked,

"How much time do I have for this?" Emerald understood.

"Take your time. I am giving you 12 hours to spend with your girl. After that, be my soldier and not her boyfriend, Jack. We have everything at stake and we can't lose at all. Not this time." Saying that Emerald disconnected and informed Sammer about it. "I didn't know that Jack had a girlfriend!" Scarlet said out of surprise.

"Me neither," Emerald reciprocated, "And he is going to have a wife within these 12 hours". He said plainly.

"What?" Scarlet almost yelled and looked at Emerald for an explanation, but he just shrugged his shoulders and kept on driving towards Riverstone Town.

Meanwhile, in the car, Jack had been dazed since Emerald called him. Watching Jenny sleep in his arms was so blissful that he didn't want to leave her. So many weird thoughts crossed his mind. Who knew for how long the war would continue! Who would live and who would die! Would Jenny be waiting even after months for his return! She won't date anyone else! All these things were making him insane.

He moved his fingers over Jenny's spine and she shivered. Opening her eyes, she looked at Jack with a smile that could make him save the whole world for her happiness. He looked at her,

"Marry me, Jen."

"What!" Jenny was still not awake fully and she was sore since their harsh s****l activities. She couldn't process the words. Jack trapped her under him moving over her and she blinked her eyes many times.

"Jen, I love you. I don't want to stay away from you. I need to go back. But before that, I want you to marry me. I will..."

"Okay." Jack was speaking when Jenny agreed and took him off guard. He kept looking at her and she just giggled finding him shocked.

Grabbing her hands, he dragged Jenny along with him and after two hours, they were standing in a beautiful park surrounded by Jack and Jenny's parents, and some werewolf friends of Jack with Jenny dresses in a beautiful white bridal gown and Jack in a simple Gray tuxedo holding hands and looking at each other.

It was so hard for Jack to convince Jenny's parents. Bit when he told them that he worked for the Azure corporation and earned a six-figure salary, only then did Jenny's father agree and they wanted Jenny to finish her studies and let him build her career. Of course, Jack agreed.

"You may kiss the bride." The priest announced and Jack immediately captured Jenny's lips in a long, fierce kiss. Breaking off, he caressed her cheeks whispering,

"My Wife." She just smiled and everyone congratulated them when one of the werewolves shouted from behind, "Mark here, buddy. Mark her."

Soon, all three of the werewolves started shouting in unison, and Jenny and her parents looked at them dumbfounded. They didn't quite get what those people were shouting. They fixated their eyes on Jack who narrowed his gaze at his friends and they understood his meaning.

Soon, everything finished and Jack and Jenny went home where Jack's mother had arranged their room. Although the wolves married at night, due to urgent circumstances, Jack's parents agreed to a marriage like this. Jack promised to get married properly after some time, and King Jasper Azure agreed to that.

The moment Jenny entered the room, Jack hugged her from behind squeezing her waist tightly and inhaling her scent murmuring, "My Mate, I love you." He was being territorial. Jenny released herself from his grip and faced him darting her eyes at him demanding

answers.

Jack scooped her in his arms and threw her over the large bed where she bounced over and giggled. Trapping her in his legs, Jack said,

"Jen, I must mark you. It will hurt you a bit okay. But remember, it's me always. Your Jack, Your Husband, baby." Jenny nodded and the next second the whole house echoed with her screams because Jack's fangs dipped in her skin and sucked her blood. After a moment, when he left her, she looked haggard. Tears stained her cheeks and she was tired. The pain was immense and she was a human. The Mark was going to take lots of time to heal.

Jack caressed her cheeks and said,

"I am sorry, love. But I had to do it." Jenny nodded and said,

"Don't say sorry. I don't need your sorry, Jack."

"Then what do you need, wife?" Jack asked stroking her hair, but what she said made his eyes turn wide.

"A great s*x before you leave for the war."
