The grand Empress sighed a heavy breath and closed off the book. It had been a complete day since she was engrossed into the book and had finished only one life.

The book was entitled as "7 days and 7 lives" which meant that there were still 6 pending for her to come across. She was already baffled and emotionally unstable at the moment witnessing all the Chaos that Trinity had been through all her life which had been engraved on the muffled pages of that heavenly book. She had closed the book, not forgetting to place a bookmark. While closing it, her gaze landed on the knife struck with red magnificent, metallic and shiny blood as if it had stabbed someone right now and as if the blood would drip out of it any moment. She had been curious about this knife ever since day 1, but now her curiosity had no leaps and bounds. Out of curiosity, she touched the knife. But as it is said that curiosity kills the cat, same happened with her.

The moment her fingers came in contact with the knife, she experienced a sudden outburst of emotions that was so painful that she started to shed tears unknowingly and retracted her fingers back. She felt as if she was in other place yet sitting in the room. Feeling like she herself had stabbed someone in the first place and she herself got stabbed in the second place, she wasn't able to comprehend the meaning of what was happening to her after merely caressing that knife.

But who was there to answer her questions other than her own self and that heavenly book which ofcourse wasn't going to show her anything anymore. The Emperor had told her back then that the book would tell her only what she should know and except that, it won't be answering any of her questions.

It was something even more suspicious, but taking into account the fact that knife was sacred as it was attached to heavenly book, so she convinced herself that she shouldn't mess with these sacred things at least not without knowledge, hence she retreated herself back and wiped away the hot stream of tears which was still running from her eyes wetting her cheeks and rolling downwards.

Although werewolves don't cry, but this was something unexpected as the Empress being an old werewolf with lots of powers and a strong control over her emotions was now shedding tears as if she had lost something precious.

'Indeed, this knife is too powerful and of it is powerful enough to let a werewolf shed tears, then how many other things it could do. Thought she in one moment and shrugged her thoughts at the other moment.

After pondering in her thoughts for a while, she recollected herself and kept the book draped in the same cloth over the same mahogany desk sighing heavily as if puffing her lungs with enough amount of warm air.

'I wonder what other secrets are going to unfold.' She thought in her mind which was too chaotic by now and called for Carol to arrange dinner. She had her meals, took a stroll in the garden. She had been sitting whole day with the book. After spending some time with nature, she headed back to her room and lied down hoping to have a slumber sleep which in any case wasn't possible after what had her mind been through.

~ WEREWOLF WORLD-

King Jasper Azure came back to his castle worried like hell and was welcomed by his smiling Luna, his queen.

No matter what, she had been his strength always. Whatever had been the situation, she had never ceased to be with him and help him in all thick and thins.

Whatever worries he had been through, she always welcomed him with a sweet and smiling face which was always enough for him to be jolly and relaxed again. She was his love, his life, his hope, his light in Darkness, his mate, his Luna.

He was in his deepest of the thoughts, when Rosy Azure approached him with silent steps and draped her arms around his waist hugging him, to which he unknowingly hid his head in the crook of her neck exhaling deep breaths not knowing that those hot, warm breaths were still doing magics to his wife.

She knew what he needed now. He was tensed. She hoped when he returned from talking to Supreme ancestor, all his worries would fade away but in her heart she knew that this visit was going to bring him even more worries and even more hectic times in the future.

She understood him perfectly well. That's what a mate always do. She was his destined mate blessed to him by moon goddess. She caressed his hair and ran her slender smooth fingers through them which made him feel relax and loose his control over his senses. It was soothing and enchanting at the same time.

Taking him to the room, she made him lie down over the bed keeping his head in her lap and continued to stroke his hairs with her fingers to which he just snuggled more into her and hugged her waist, soon drifting into sleep. He was too much tired. Hence, a little soothing gesture from his wife was enough to let him slip down the dream land and took off his worries for the time being.

On the other side, Luna knew very well that Jasper wasn't going to tell her the things which he had been going through this time, because whenever he was worried after coming back home and hid his head in her neck inhaling her scent and exhaling hot breaths, it was clear that he needed to relax and hence after some strokes of her fingers on his hair, he would drift into sleep. It was because he didn't want to confront her as telling her would only make her worried which he never wanted. So, she knew this was going to happen again.

For getting to the bottom of matter and knowing the truth, She had to retort to other means. When he was sleeping, she activated her mate bond by touching the mark on the right side of her neck which was created by Jasper's biting when he marked her back then while they consummated their marriage. They had been together since centuries and their mate bond was the strongest connection between them, even more stronger than the mind link.

But if the other partner didn't want to reveal the things, even mate bond had to compile with it. Since, they were the king and queen, she needed no permission to activate the mate bond at any time to know what things her husband had been going through. When her fingers landed on that mark, her lips quivered a bit and moved in synchronization with her fingers enchanting a spell. Soon a green glare started to emit from her eyes indicating the fact that now her mind was entangled with her husband and his memories and she travelled back in time to the place where her husband had been with Supreme ancestor Ozouf. Standing there in a corner and listening to all what Supreme Ancestor and her husband said to each other, she relived his memories. But before she was about to come back to reality, she was shocked when Supreme ancestor smiled looking at her side and nodded which she wasn't able to understand but realised the reason soon.

He was Supreme ancestor. He knew that she was visiting her husband's memories. Nobody was able to know about her presence, not even her own husband but he did notice and exchanged a soft smile which somehow assured her that everything would fall back into place.

Still, she was also a mother who loved her children dearly. Her whole world got shattered when she came to know the real truth. The truth which Her husband was hiding from her, which was related to her dearest elder son Emerald. The truth which stated that her son had no destined mate and if she could cry, tears would have rolled down her eyes then and there.

She immediately came back to the present time when a stream of hot tears started to fall down from her brown hazel eyes which were filled with pain, agony and heart wrenching emotions. She was so indulged into her pain that she didn't notice that she was able to tear up which wasn't possible before today. May be Supreme ancestor bad granted her enough power with his smile so that she could at least cry her heart out, or who knows how much tears was she going to shed in the future!! She just wanted to question The Holy Moon Goddess why only her son? What sins he had committed to bear this much harsh of a punishment? What was his mistake??!

It was renowned in werewolf land that a werewolf without a mate was considered like a lone dog. He had no status and power.People considered him like a curse which fell upon the whole clan and created havoc.

But this situation had never been witnessed in royal family. No royal family members were mate less. They always had a destined mate. The coronation Ceremony of Emerald was also ruined because of this mate thing because people still wanted him to first have his mate and then only they would accept him as king. But what would happen when the people of werewolf land would come to know that their Alpha is not blessed with a Destined mate by Moon Goddess.

But this time Luna was in emotional chaos. She wasn't understanding that her son wasn't mate less actually, but he had no destined mate, which means he had the opportunity to choose his mate on his own, which was not a curse and could be a blessing for them in the times to be.
