Emerald entered into the pond which was ancestral and it's water came straight from the heavens, that was what had always been told to him since he was a little kid. The moment it's cold water touched his bare skin, he felt goosebumps running through whole of his body. Soon after, he felt warmness running down all his veins making him feel relaxed and charged. This was the beauty of this heavenly pond. Its water was possessed numerous properties which were healing and rejuvenating for the one who stepped inside. Being an alpha already, Emerald had unique number of powers in his stack but still there was no end to being powerful. Although he never wanted to seize all the powers from everywhere but it was his right and also the need for being a future king because you never know whom you are going to fight with. Challenges are always there whenever one wishes to take over the throne, may it be from your own people or from the outsiders.

He was just following orders given by his father, King JASPER AZURE. For him, the words of his father held a great weightage and one thing was pretty sure that he had to follow him no matter what. On the other hand, his younger brother Sammer was a little brat who no doubt followed all the commands of their father but according to his own likings.

He let his whole body drown in the cold water and soon he felt himself light and floating in the middle of pond. The purpose of being there was to let go of all the worries and stresses that had been bothering him since yesterday, but still his mind was in utter chaos. He was still confused.

The words ... "No destined mate" were still reverberating inside his mind and making him puzzled.

What did Moon goddess had in her sleeves for him and his Azure clan ? Why wasn't he blessed with a mate ? All these questions were still unanswered. He had been going through a lot of pain ever since he had known all his friends and distant relatives having their mates and enjoy their lives to the fullest.

On the surface, his life was a perfect one anyone could desire of. But oy he knew how lonely he was. He was successful, charming and hot with all the supernatural powers but still a werewolf without his mate..... he couldn't even decipher what did it mean. His thoughts were making him go insane while he let the cold water soak his body and took away all the perplexed feelings he was going through at the precise moment.

Meanwhile, Scarlet and Jack had settled themselves in the huge villa. She was provided the most beautiful guest room to rest for the time when Emerald finished his business in the pond.

She was still Mesmerized by the beauty of villa which was too lavish and yet small. She came to know that it was the same hut looking into the premises and gazing into the neighborhood lilies which she noticed in her prior visit. She took Emerald as a weirdly narcissistic boss because according to her nobody would wish to bathe in a pond in the jungle almost at midnight and that too in the middle of a meeting going on.

Although she walked into the pond twice before, yet she wasn't still aware of the power boosting nature of it and hence took it as a normal pond in the jungle. She thought to freshen up a bit but as she was going to step towards the attached restroom, a gust of cold breeze blew into the room from large window which was opened before she entered inside.

The cold breeze made her halt in her paces and she unknowingly turned to the direction. She wasn't in her senses. It was as if her thinking had been blocked by that soothing climate and without even realizing, Slowly and swiftly, she felt calm while going towards the window. The wind was still blowing slowly and was playing with her long lashing beautiful silky hair which could be breathtaking at the moment and made her look like an angel who walked down the heavens and stopped by this window to enjoy nature.

A faint relaxing smile crept over her beautiful thick lips while she closed her eyes unknowingly getting immersed into the beauty of nature before peeking at the huge, rounded shining moon which was somewhat different today.

After an interval of complete 5 minutes, she opened her huge, sharp, fish like ocean blue eyes and her abrupt gaze landed on the moon. Her mind came back to senses when she noticed it wasn't the normal moon she used to witness everyday but was different,..... very different.... Since it was shining blue.

'Blue moon.!' She thought in her mind and then shrugged her shoulders showing no interest in anymore questions that her mind was framing and was preparing to shoot it to her own self for it was enough for today as she was already pissed off because of a certain unwanted encounter with a certain unwanted man. She knew she would run her own brain errands once she started to question again because nobody was going to answer it.

If mermaids existed, Werewolves existed, unicorns existed, then why not a blue moon??... Also, it could be because of clouds too or scattering of light. She made herself reason with her little bit scientific mind which wasn't satisfied still but she choose to let it be. Submerging in the beautiful ahead of her eyes, she almost forgot about the two people waiting for her at home for dinner. Her parents!!

'Oh crap!!! I didn't inform mom and dad. They must be worried. How can you be so stupid scarf?' she thought almost questioning herself and the next moment took out her cellphone from the side pocket of her sling bag which was still hugging her waist. Dialing the number which got answered in two calls, she heaved a sigh of relief when she heard her father from the other side asking her many questions like she was sitting for a phonic interview. Making him Husshhh.. she said slowly..

"Dad firstly, I am very fit and fine. Secondly, I am with my new boss in a meeting will have my dinner here and thirdly, if it gets more late then either they will drop me home or I will stay in with them on the company quarters... ALONE... in one whole room. Tell mom not to worry and I love you both tons. Mummmuuuuuuaaaahhh...

Bbye, sleep early." She explained everything stressing the word ALONE.. for she knew well how protective her dad was and gave off phonic kisses adding a bit of lies as she didn't want her dead parents to worry about her.

When she was about to turn away, her eyes darted towards the heavenly pond whose water was sparkling blue under the beautiful blue moon light making it look it was a pond filled with magnificent blue color making it look extra calm, peaceful and soothing. Since the day, she had turned into a mermaid, water had always been her week point. She wasn't able to control herself whenever she spotted water. She wanted to land her a*s down in there and swim for a little while which she learnt perfectly in the past few days, all thanks to her Mentor Mr. Luke Camel who granted her wish of being in water every now and then.

But as soon as these thoughts arose in her mind, she noticed the man.... An alpha man who had a large, calloused, muscular 'V-shaped' body which looked so alluring that any girl would love to pound over him and eat him then and there.

Well.... Scarlet was no one exception to that. She got mesmerized by the handsomeness and sexy figure of this alpha male. Just when she was turning red gazing his bare body from behind which was looking extravagant and even more delicious under the blue moon light, and was wanting him to just stand properly so that she could get a proper view of ... ummm...ahhm.ahmmm........

the man turned towards her direction and in a brisk moment, her giggling red face turned into a horrible murderous one.

He was the one who had ruined her most precious birthday, yelled at her, made her fall into water when she didn't know how to swim, and took her first kiss. To add fuel to that, he was the new boss she had been working for now and because of his weird desire to soak himself in the pond in the middle of night, she was here in this situation with a growling stomach.

She wanted revenge for what he had done to her on her birthday. How ... just how could he take her first kiss. Although her friends, Eva, Chris, Tina... all had tried to explain that he was giving her CPR... but she clearly knew that he was chewing her lips like a candy and devouring her. He really kissed her.

'Idea'... Yes an idea... a...deadly one crept into her bratty brain and she gave a sinister laugh, a laugh which was enough for anyone to know what bad deeds this tiny girl could do. Her laugh was devilish and it clearly showed she was up to something very mischievous.

"Wait and watch you FHA...!" she murmured under her breath and immediately ran from there towards his direction.

On the other side, Emerald had been inside the pond from past 20 minutes and was basking in the moon light while enhancing his powers but nothing had happened till now except for him to feel more relaxed and rejuvenated. He was able to feel the blood rushing in his all veins at once.

Although it was a blue moon time, since he didn't have any urge to shift to his werewolf form, may be because he was inside the pond but his alpha ears were able to hear the howls of other werewolves who were shifting on this full moon from afar. 'Didn't father say that, I had to kiss a girl.? Where would I find her?' he thought when he felt a sharp flesh-eating gaze on his body from behind making him put his guard on immediately.
