....." MATE."

These words were making her head spin. She had learned a few things about werewolves from her mentor Mr. Luke Camel that werewolves mumble the word " Mate" when they get their soul mate and their eyes glow in a different color.

'But wasn't he a filthy human named Azure ...! How come ..how come ... shit... is he a werewolf?? 'realization hit her brain harder when she came to know that her revenge plan backfired at her and she slapped herself thousands of times in her own mind. How naïve was she to not think properly and act foolishly!! She should have verified his identity first before messing with him. She felt like she had thrown herself in the pit which she had prodded for him.

Emerald was not getting a control over himself and his body was turning into his wolf form. Soon, Scarlet heard the sound of bones cracking and the alpha male ahead of her groaning, may be in pain. Suddenly, a large Black colored wolf of the size of an adult elephant was standing ahead of her sharp fish eyes. His body was pitch black with the shades of dark green and blue over his fur which was a unique thing.

She had never witnessed anything like that in her life. Although she was aware of werewolves' existence now, but she had never seen one shift. Even Luke had also been with her for so many times, but he had never shifted to his wolf form. Now looking at Emerald shifting, She was amazed.

She gasped in awe and just shut her eyes tightly when the huge wolf howled looking at the sparkling blue moon and then caressed her skin with his soft fur. Emerald was protecting his mate. It was his wolf instinct.

Werewolves were always like that. They have a strong possession over their mate and the moment they have their mate, it's their inherited trait to protect him/her. Moreover, the woman in front of him wasn't only his mate but also the would be Luna of his clan. So, being possessive for him was obvious.

Minutes later, when he caressed her properly, he came back to his own form and was standing naked ... totally naked in front of her which made her gasp when her gaze landed on his huge m*****d and her cheeks turned crimson red immediately making her avert her eyes to other direction unwantedly for in her own mind she just wanted to pierce his body with her gazes. His clothes had already been beside the pond but now last shreds were even torn off from his body due to this shifting.

It wasn't a ritual there in WEREALM to howl on getting one's mate. But Alpha can do whatever he want and in case of Emerald, when he was born with unique superpowers, so did his ways.

Jasper and his wife who were standing by the window side witnessing the blue moon immediately smiled ear to ear and hugged each other tightly. The most happiest one was The Queen who was always worried about her son.

She was relaxed now thinking that nobody would deny him being the next king and he would ultimately find his happiness. Finally, they would get him crowned.

Here, the two people were lost in each other's eyes. When Emerald's gaze travelled towards the most beautiful girl's body, he gasped....

He gasped and his jaw dropped. So, it was her. She was the one who intruded the pond because she was a mermaid and was his mate.

"You ... You ..are..a..." He was lost in words. He didn't know how to react.

For mermaids, it was the Lord of five elements who bless them with their soulmate and every mermaid gets her soulmate once she turns 21. Emerald was so engrossed in his own thoughts that he forgot that not only he but also Scarlet mumbled the words....

But soon he came back to reality and killed the distance between them slowly while taking a hold of her waist by his one hand and caressing her face with his another hand. After getting the touch of her " Partner", she felt electrocuted, relaxed and out of the world. It was a heavenly feeling and her body reacted to it as if she was craving for him since ages. She revived her normal human form and stood in front of him naked ...

Okie ... it was embarrassing.. but she stood still, witnessing his action not minding her bare body because half of it was under water so, he wasn't able to see her womanhood, but how could that be possible when she was standing besides The unique Alpha werewolf who had sharp eyesight and he could even see through walls and miles away.

"Do you know what just happened.?" He asked her slowly not making her scared while he never stopped caressing her cheeks making her feel safe and secure. He was attracted to her like a magnet and couldn't help but adore her and wanted to feel her.

She was still inhaling his scent and just nodded in a yes. He felt relaxed a bit when he knew that she knew what just happened.

"You shouldn't be." she cut him in the middle which made him surprised.

Narrowing his green sexy eyes, he peeped into her sharp, arched oceanic eyes for answers because he was still not able to digest the fact that the girl who can slap him for giving CPR, ok.. ok.. a slight kiss (he did it unknowingly), became too bold today to kiss him on her own. Looking for the answers to his questions, he parted his husky lips slightly which had just kissed and sucked her soul to ask something, but she took the initiative to explain...

"I came here for revenge and get back my first kiss, but I didn't know that you were my ..." she stopped and blinked her eyes which were still glowing showing the endless wait in them for her love. She was guilty for her actions for she had realised in that flicker of a moment that Emerald was not someone to take advantage because if he wanted to do so, he wouldn't have backed himself a while ago finding her all naked in his arms. Instead he helped her to seal off the area and let out a protective alpha Howl for her. "your ...?" he asked in a husky voice which was enough for her to make it difficult to hold on to herself.

"Mate" she whispered while shyly smiling making him stunned thinking that all the while bold girl who dared to slap him and call him pervert was really blushing. A sinister and proud smile crept on his lips.

"I don't know what...!? you see.. I am a werewolf and we are from different worlds...so....." he said trying to comprehend the things and frame a sentence.

"You are my soul mate given to me by the lord of five elements." she replied making all his guesses and fears shooed away.

Till now, he was worried as to what he would do if she didn't want him and did he make any mistake making her his mate but turned out that she was the destined mate for him ... not from his side but from her side. He didn't know about her being his mate and she didn't know too. But eventually they found each other.

"Mmmmm... then we should stop fighting. After all we are going to be together." suggested Emerald, to which she just looked at him surprisingly. No doubt, he was the most wanted man and he was her lover, her partner but still she didn't want him to feel proud of the fact that she had spared him from her revenge.

"My revenge is still pending. I was here to let you taste your own medicine but it backfired. You insulted me and called me a burden on my family. You need to be punished for that. I don't accept this .. I ..." before she could say anything further, she was cut amidst by his look when he raised one of his eyebrows showing her his raged expression.

'Does this silly woman have no idea how happy I am to have my mate and here she just is fussing over that kiss.?' he thought in his mind and next second questioned her ...

"What if I apologize?? Would you let go of the matter then..!!"

Scarlet was at loss of words. How could she deny this lascivious man who happened to have casted some sort of spell over her. But she still held onto herself and arched her brows as if questioning him back. Before she could say anything, his another question came out of blue and took her off gurad...

"Didn't we just kiss now?? Still you want a revenge ??"

She wasn't able to escape from his adoring gaze for which her mind was shouting her to get melted under his deep eyes and replied back...

"Yes, we did. But... But it was different. You called me names and You stole my first kiss." raising her arms above her head in rage forgetting that the man was having a perfect view of her body which was no different than getting embarrassed. While he was busy enjoying the heavenly view, she noticed his gaze and hurriedly covered herself with her hands while dispensing him.

'Indeed he is a pervert. She thought in her mind.

He chuckled when he noticed her cute antics and with a boyish grin plastered over his handsome husky face, he placed his right hand over her slender waist making her gasp at his sudden touch and whispered right in her ears.... "What's the use of hiding now? I have seen everything." and blew a mouthful of hot air in her ears making her crimson red and blush highly which was enough for him to adore her even more.

"You are talking as if we ..." she stopped in the middle realizing what she was going to spout and the man let out a hilarious laughter to which she lowered her eyes in shyness.

'This woman wasn't only a mermaid but a beasty wolf and a scary cat too.' he thought in his mind. she just pushed him hardly without paying any attention to who he was for stealing her first kiss that day and today too she was planning a revenge acting as a beasty wolf, but still she is a shy. He knew what his touches were doing to her body.

He smirked knowing how he was affecting her and held her bare figure in his perfect calloused hands which was shaped as if it was just made to perfectly fit in them only. He felt proud and aloof at the moment and also planned to show her friend Chris that she was his, his mate.

Although he hadn't marked her yet and just they both came to know that they were mates, but still he was determined to possess her. They both were engaged into each other while Jack was smiling standing in the corridor looking at them, sighing in relief because finally their alpha got his Mate. And now it was well-known to everyone.

"We can settle the scores in some other ways. Tell me what do I need to do to make your revenge successful." he asked her still maintaining their posture and she was still holding his powerful muscles to hold herself as her knees were already wobbling. She blinked her eyes and looked up at him. Her gaze landed into his Green Emerald eyes which were now glowing with different emotions. She knew that he wasn't lying and was sincere. An evil plan stroke in her mind making her smirk inwardly which didn't go unnoticed by Emerald.
