Blake:

My chest ached as I found myself waking up beside my wife on a field of grass.

Flowers were sprawled almost eveywhere around us, and for a second, I could swear that I was back at the house, OUR garden. But I could also tell that it was different, this was a place that we knew, but it wasn’t ours, not yet anyway.

Natalia frowned and shook her head in question before I got up from the floor. She sat up and pinched the bridge of her nose before turning to look at me. I watched as she stood up and looked around, taking the scene that was in front of her.

Birds flew around and the sound of water could be heard from a distance, but I couldn’t catch a scent to let me know where I was, nor could I define the image that we were seeing.

“Are you in my head again?” She asked, and I shook my head, making her frown.

“Not that I know of,” I said, only to frown when I saw Alexander and Nikita standing in front of us.

The two of us were wearing complete white outfits, my beauty wore a white dress that reached her knees, and I wore a white linen shirt and matching pants.

“It took us a while to have the two of you línked, to say the least, your mating worked for something”

Alexander said, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at the two of us. I wrapped my arm- around my wife, pulling her to my chest only to frown when I realized that I could actually touch her. Her eyes met mine and she shook her head in question and confusion.

“The two of you have been mind linked by Nikita We have a few things to discuss and we can’t do that tomorrow before you see your families.” Alexander said, and both Natalia and I tensed.

There is a way out of this without killing or freezing Crystal, but you are going to need to put all your effort into it. Both of you,”

“What are you talking about?” I asked, glaring at the man who shook his head at me.

“You have an impulsive behavior that will get you in trouble, but then again, I shouldn’t expect less from a wolf.” He said, taking a step forward. A vision of Crystal appeared in front of us, on top of her, Natalia rode like the queen that I knew she was. And I ran from below. “The two of you have been foreseen as the Alpha of Alphas and the Queen of Elements. It is your fate to destroy dark magic and that is something that the witches do not want. For that to happen, you are going to need to sumnmon all the manipulators at your command.”

“How am I going to do that when I barely know how to control my powers?” Natalia asked, shaking her head in question. The vision showed me fighting Drake who also shifted into a wolf while Natalia was riding Crystal, followed by dragons and other manipulators who were on them, as they fought the dark magic around them.

I frowned at the sight but was sure to control my confusion as I shook my head at the sight. It was one that I didn’t understand, however, at this point, I came to realize that I barely understood anything that went around us anyway.

“You will be following your instinct the way that you have been doing throughout the games.”

Alexander said, smiling at his granddaughter. “You proved to be the queen of elements without being trained and without leaving those who have agreed to follow you behind. You also showed mercy toward those who have hurt you, and that is something that not many can do. Now all you have to do is show the proper strength to defeat those who have betrayed the oath.”

“How do I know that I can trust you? Needless to say, many have betrayed me so far, what makes you any different?” Natalia asked, shaking her head in question and he smirked.

“You don’t,” he said, his tone arrogant. “You just follow your instinct…”

Natalia and I woke up with a gasp.

Both our chests rose and fell as she sat up from my chest, trying to process what we just went through.

An alarm rang and red lights sirens filled the area and I frowned as I wrapped my arms around my mate. She looked at me and the two of us nodded, knowing that we needed to get out of here. This was Drake playing games, only this time, the f*****g bastard didn’t know that we were going to be more than a little ready for him.

“Are you okay?” I asked, my tone softening as I saw her getting her clothes. Her heart raced against her ribcage, and I knew that she was more than just a little frightened about where things would go and how they would turn out to be. But I also knew one thing, I knew that the two of us were going to be fighting until the end of time for this, and it was going to be something that we would both be getting out of together.

I am fine, Alexander,” she said, giving me a gentle nod. “But we are going to need to be very careful right now.”

“I know, and we will be I said and she shook her head. She put her hand on my right cheek, gently running her finger over my scruff before I frowned at the thought that I saw.

Riya and Ariana were also part of those who Natalia would be fighting while I fought Drake

“This explains how she got past the reaper.” Natalia said, shaking her head I nodded, pinching the bridge of my nose for a second before Natalia’s next words took me off guard. “It means that Myla is in big trouble, Blake.”

“What?” I asked, frowning in confusion before she sighed.

“I know that this is the last thing that you are going to expect me to say, Blake.” Natalia said. making me frown in confusion. My heart raced against my ribcage and she ran her fingers through her hair before she walked toward me.

She put both her hands on my chest, as if feeling my pain, before leaning in to k**s it, right over where my heart was beating. “We have to save hèr, Blake. I don’t know how or why I am saying so, but something inside me tells me that something very bad is going to happen to her.”

“Nat. “

“Look, the bullet has been shot, and I know that the two of us have been through more hell than anyone should. I understand your fear, but right now, we are going to have to push all of that aside for this.” Natalia said, her voice softening. “I won’t love you any less for saving her, and it will not be creating a gap between us. The two of us have gotten past that, but I will also not be able to forgive myself for knowing that I could help her and if I choose against it.”

I stayed quiet for a few seconds before connecting my lips with hers. The k**s heated for a few seconds as I let her know that I was hers and hers alone just as she was mine. The last thing that I wanted was for her to worry or fear that I would end up choosing anyone else but her, and the fact that I would be saving the one weakness that had the two of us falling apart more than once made my chest ache.

“I f*****g love you, Natalia Knight, and I never want you to forget that.” I said, my voice softening as I pulled away to rest my forehead against hers.

YOU TWO, IT IS TIME TO START THE GAMES AND YOU STAYING HERE WOULD ONLY MEAN THAT YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED!” a man yelled from outside the room as he banged the door. Natalia smiled at me and ran her finger over my scuff for a second.

“I love you too,” she said before I took her hand in mine as a small smile played on both our lips.

Let’s end this here and now. The f*****g bastard will meet his end today..”
