Arranged To The Beast Alpha
Beneath the influence

Leah's

POV

I steadied my feet and looked up at Damien.

Rolling his gaze away from me, he picked up a towel, wrapped it around his waist, and made his way to what looked like his bathroom.

What the fuck did I just watch?

Is this how he treats women? Like sex toys.

The heavy smell of sex lingered in the very poorly ventilated room. Now that he was gone, I had time to look around the room.

It gave off a stylish psychopathic vibe. The room was painted with a black shimmery paint, and the only thing brightening up the room seemed to be the chandelier hanging from the roof. The thick black curtains cut off every ray of sunlight, and the only interesting things in the room should be the beautiful, golden ornaments hanging on the walls.

I don't know how long I stayed admiring the room, but the deep echoes of his voice brought me back to reality.

"Why are you still standing there?"

I shuffled around, my small bag in my arms, and sat on the couch.

I felt his eyes pierce into my body. Why the fuck was he staring at me?

"Come closer," he ordered.

I stood up from the couch and made my way to him. On a closer look, I could really see his details.

The towel was loosely wrapped around his torso, and I could see his chest, full and thick. He stood up from the bed and moved closer to me.

At this point, I could feel the heat emanate from his body. It's quite unusual, but he had a sweet woody smell oozing out of him.

He touched my face ever so softly, and I closed my eyes, maybe out of more pleasure than pain.

"You can't feel this way, Leah." I corrected myself and opened my eyes, but his big ocean eyes caught my sight, and I got lost in it.

"Have you been crying?" He suddenly asked

"Huh?" I replied in fear.

"Your eyes are swollen. Have you been crying?" He asked again, now completely covering one half of my face with his palm.

"Do you miss home?" he asked again before I could answer the last one. But he sounded irritated. Of course, I don't blame him. He would rather spend his time on something more important.

"No, no, no, I don't miss home; it's just..." I tried to break free from his hands, but he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I stiffened instantly.

"It's just what..." He pulled up my head with one finger on my chin.

"I miss my sister," I finally spilled. That's the most I could do. Somewhere in my heart, I hope he doesn't send me back. Apart from the fact that i

would be useless to my father and my brother would do everything and anything to fristrate my life, My father could kill me with his bare hands. I don't mean anything to him. But I don't want the alpha to perceive as weak. "She would miss me," I found myself saying without even being asked. Why did I become so vulnerable before this man?

He cleaned the tears I didn't know had stained my face, his eyes not breaking free from mine.

"Do you want her here?"

"What?"

He suddenly jammed his lips on mine and kissed me, not violently like he had done before but softly like a delicate porcelain vase.

He trailed his lips on mine, kissing every angle of my lips as he pulled me even closer to himself.

He had most likely done this to a lot of women. I don't know why but that thought irritated me.

I can't let him kiss me. I can't let him treat me like a fucking slut.

I broke free from the kiss, and I noticed a change in his expression. His grip around my waist tightened, and I winced in pain. I could feel his heart rate increase. His breath reeked of alcohol. That did explain a lot. We were interrupted by a knock on the door, and he quickly spinned me around.

"What do you want, Kai?" His voice echo

Kai? That was the guy that brought me here. I should thank him. I tried to pull out from his grip, but Damien tightened his arms around me so I stayed put.

"I need to see you, Alpha Damien."

"Speak Kai," he ordered in a cold, husky voice.

"I would like to have a conversation with you alone," Kai replied, his voice calm but steady.

There was silence for a few minutes, but he finally spoke.

"Wait for me in my office."

He pulled away from me and walked into the closet.

What a weird first day in Alpha Damien's house. I sighed heavily trying

I don't know why, but I missed his arms and the warmth it brought. I felt alone and shared again.

He came out of the closet dressed in a black round neck top and a black trouser. His chestnut hair falling across his face made my heart skip a bit.

If only he wasn't ruthless, he would have been known as the most handsome man alive.

Without sparing even a glance at me, he walked out of the room.

Was he upset?

What did I do wrong? For a fact, I know that I am the person that should be upset!

As he walked away, I stood frozen for a moment thinking of my next actions. I should follow him! I can't remain here, I could still remember what I had just seen an hour ago. After a while, I gave in.

I walked towards the door, darting my eyes, both sides until I saw what looked like him.

His pace never faltered but he didn't look back once. Carefully, I trailed behind him. My heart raced with every step I took.

Then he disappeared into a corner, the door creaking as he pushed it open. Hearing a sharp click of the door's lock, my chest tightened. He locked it.

Taking a hesitant step towards the door, I leaned in, pressing my ear against the door to listen.

"What do you want to speak to me about?" He asked Kai, each word drawn out slowly. "Are you drunk?"

"You haven't answered my question!" He roared.

"This might not be the best time to talk about this because you are obviously wasted." Kai said. His voice, laced with fear and determination.
