"I missed these lips so much, I had to rush home," Jean muttered against Jackson's wet lips when he eventually ended the kiss. "Did you miss me?" He murmured. "You know I did." Jackson leaned up and pressed a kiss to Jean's lips. "You didn't end the call."
"I know." He turned to look at Will. "Have any idea what would be going on right now if you weren't here?"
"For fuck's sake Jean," Jackson groaned even as Will chuckled.
"Well, I'm here so keep that snake in your pants, doc." Will drawled, making Jean laugh.
"Going up to change." Jean finally picked up his phone. "Dean?" He started for the stairs. "Oh, fuck off..."
Will stared at Jackson who looked dazed. "Dayum." He muttered as he poured more drink into his glass. "Y'all are horny motherfuckers."
A contented smile played around Jackson's lips as he returned Will's stare. "You could have that too, you know." He said softly. "I honestly don't see your problem." "It's a bit complex but I'll work it out."
"Good, do that 'cause Stan is a great guy." He got to his feet. "Going to change."
"Y'all had better do just that...change," Will growled and then laughed when Jackson gave him the finger.
He'd always admired the bond between his colleague and his husband. Their affection for each other was so beautiful to watch. It wasn't all rosy...certainly not with a crazy person like Jean involved. But they always made up and came back together even stronger. What made his situation complex was the supernatural aspect. But if what his mother had told him in that dream was anything to go by, he wasn't clean himself. He'd thought extensively about it and realized that there was a reason for everything.
Will remembered all that Gaia had told him about werewolves back in Ghana. He had to be honest and admit that some of the things scared the hell out of him. If he was Stan's mate, then it meant he had to be turned into a wolf at some point. He dreaded that. According to Gaia, immediately after he was able to learn to control his wolf, he would be able to go about his normal life just like anyone else.
Apparently, there were doctors, lecturers, models, and a whole lot of professionals who were werewolves. Unfortunately, vampires didn't have that luxury since they didn't age at all. For them, they had to keep moving into new communities to hide their identities. The werewolves had no such problem so really, he had nothing to worry about. There was still the fear of the unknown to contend with though.

Admiral Mathias and his partner, Anton lived on a huge estate that had acres of manicured gardens and grounds that were very tranquil and perfect for parties. For the party, the grounds had been decorated with impressive multi-toned party lights that gave the house a touch of excitement and class. By the magnificent swimming pool was a live band, dishing out good music. Waiters moved around seeing to the needs of the guests and ensuring that everyone was satisfied. Admiral Mathias had been with his partner Anton since they were teens. They'd been friends since they were six when Anton and his family had moved next door. The two friends had fallen for each other in our teens. For Anton's fifty-fifth birthday, Mathias had planned to have close friends and family around to celebrate the love of his life. And so far, everyone seemed to be having a great time. The meal was fantastic. There were so many courses and varieties the guests were spoilt for choice.
The guests danced to the great tunes by the band. On the dancefloor, Will looked dashing in his smart casual attire. He wore sexy grey dress pants, a black shirt, a black blazer, and classy black lace-up shoes. He danced with Rosanne who looked as though she'd been poured into her dress. The dress clung in all the right places and showed off her lovely curves as she moved sexily to the music.
"Damn, girl! You're killing it." Tanesha, Ty's wife who danced beside them screeched. "Go girl, go girl, go girl..." Tanesha hyped, plunging the crazy lady Arrowhead into a twerking mode to the delight of her colleagues.
"I swear if that dress rips, I'm going to ensure your arse ends up on social media." Will drawled, making those within earshot laugh.
"Please caption it, 'The Arrow-Ass'." Jean added, making the Arrowheads roar with laughter.
"Great idea, Jean." Will laughed but his laughter disappeared when he felt that familiar tingle on his neck. Even as his eyes started to shift around he heard Rosanne's gasp;
"Fuck, he's hot!" The lady Arrowhead was virtually drooling as she stared at someone behind Will. "That man of yours must have a sign around his neck that says 'beware of the sex god' or something, Will." She breathed as Will turned his head to look behind him.
Stan was talking to the admiral and Anton beneath the beautifully decorated pergola which was close to the dancefloor. Will felt his mouth water as he stared at the man. Rosanne was right, Stan looked damn hot in his black jeans, elegant black turtle neck, and brown ankle-high dress shoes. The suave combination easily elevated his style and made him stand out. Will felt his heart pounding. How was it possible to want a human being that much, he screamed in his mind. "Hey, are you okay?" Rosanne asked with a worried frown.
"Sure." Will couldn't recognize his own voice.
"We hung out over the weekend," Rosanne said.
"I know."
"He said you two were working through something. He looked very worried. Whatever it is, y'all had better work fast." She mumbled. "He looked like you had him by balls."
"Well, they're some pretty huge balls so..." Will shrugged.
Rosanne smiled. "Just ease up a bit. Whatever he did, I'm sure he's learnt his lesson."
Will nodded and turned around fully to look to where the trio was standing when he heard the clinking of glass. The admiral wanted everyone's attention. Will's eyes followed Stan as he walked off, leaving Admiral Mathias and Anton under the pergola.
"Close your mouth, dear," Rosanne murmured beside Will.
"Fuck you." He chuckled and then focused on the admiral who had started speaking.
"Forty-nine years is a pretty long time to know a person." Admiral Mathias was saying. "The very first day I laid my eyes on Anton, I told myself he was going to be my friend for life. I'm pretty sure he hated my guts though." Everyone burst into laughter.
"I didn't." Anton protested.
"Aw, you did honey." Mathias scoffed. "I admit I was annoying. I'm a few months older than him and I've never allowed him to forget that." People laughed. "To those of you who don't know Anton very well... unlike me, he's amazing, awesome, sweet, warm, and gorgeous as you can all see," Anton blushed so hard at that, "and the list is endless. Our love journey has not been that easy. But all the tough times we went through only made us stronger."
"I wouldn't change anything," Anton said.
"See? He's a nice guy." The guests laughed. "There's something that baffles me though." Mathias looked bemused. "After forty-nine years of knowing this guy, his voice still gives me butterflies and somehow, his smile still makes my heart skip a beat. Strange."
"He bewitched your arse, Admiral," Rosanne screamed and everyone laughed.
"I am very sure, Rosanne," Mathias said as he turned to face Anton. "Honey, it's going to be pretty tough if am told to choose between loving you and breathing. But I'm certain that if I'm pushed to make that call, I would rather use my last breath just to say I love you."
The guest oohed and aahed and applauded. Anton looked overcome and speechless as he stared at Mathias with wide eyes.
