YUNIFER'S

POV

After hearing their words, my jaw dropped. I looked at them as if I was looking at a retard person. What the heck are they trying to pull? Payments? I know that they are not talking about cash especially since they are not short of money, for sure that they are planning something else. I suddenly had a bad premonition about this sort of payment that they are talking about.

I thought that after knowing that they took care of my brother without being ordered to, is that they did it out of pity and kindness.

Who would have thought that they are planning something else?

Heh! What do I expect from the Ferrer brothers? They only want those people who had value to them. They won't help other people out of kindness but rather, they would help the people for the sake of benefits.

I shouldn't expect too much when it comes to these people-more like wolves.

I raised my brows as I looked at them with a frown.

"Huh? Did I order you to do so?" I retorted. I thought that we are starting to get along but it was just my wishful thinking.

Drake answered naturally. "If we didn't do it, for sure that your brother would die from hunger."

"I won't!" Asher interjected as he heaved angrily, glaring at Drake who said that.

Lawrence smiled at me. "How about you should give us-each one of us one condition. One ticket where we can claim it once we have something in mind that we want you to do or help us to do. How about that? Besides, we didn't only help your brother but also help you. We even applied an excuse letter for the dean so that we could excuse you to our professor and in that way you don't have to worry about your grades failing. I'm sure that you already know that we aren't the type of wolves who would help someone without being benefited. Besides, if it wasn't for us your brother would starve to death and he almost got in an accident when he was trying to cross the road to buy food."

Hearing the latter of his words, I looked at him with surprise. "What?! He almost got in an accident?!"

Lawrence innocently nodded his head. "Yes. If it wasn't for us, the two of you would need to recover in the hospital for a few days. That's why I propose for one ticket each one of us."

I stared at him for a second then I looked at Asher who was now averting his eyes and sitting on the chair while reading a book, pretending that he didn't hear anything.

I couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh as I looked at Asher who was reading the book upside down. It was an unfamiliar book titled, "the best way to hide a corpse." I don't even have an idea where he got that kind of book.

"You shouldn't do it again. It was a good thing that you didn't get in an accident." I helplessly said while rubbing his head.

Asher raised his head and smiled brightly at me while nodding his head. "I promise, I won't. Just teach me how to cross the road in the future so that I would not be ignorant and let someone take advantage of me just to ask for benefits from you after helping me." I let out a chuckle and glanced at the three who seemed to be waiting for my confirmation.

"Fine, each one of you can ask me what you want as for the payment for saving my brother and taking care of my brother plus for bringing me to this hospital," I said with a polite tone while looking at them as if they were just my benefactor, that's all. With no malice nor strange feelings attached.

Anyway, although I was kind of attracted to their face with their personality, I'll just pass. There's no way for me to like even one of them even though they stated that I was their mate and I'm mated to these three Alphas.

I don't know if it was just a joke or not, especially since I'm a human so how could I easily have a mate? Three alpha mates to be exact!

I averted my eyesight from them. Not because I'm afraid that I would fall but rather because I'm afraid that I would go blind after staring at them for an hour given their faces.

As soon as they heard my words, they all let out a satisfied smile-except for Drake who was snorting yet his face was filled with satisfaction after hearing that he got one ticket that can be used to get what he wants from me or what they would want me to do for them.

"However, I'll remind you that I would accept such an order that is against the law," I said with a serious tone and they just hum in response.

"Since we already got what we wanted so we'll go now." Drake mercilessly said and without waiting for my response, he turned around and left the room along with his brothers.

I rolled my eyes after seeing them leave and let out a sigh of relief right after especially when the temperature around the room became normal, unlike when they came and visited the room.

I turned my head and glanced at Asher whose brows were furrowed as he was in his serious mode, reading carefully at the weird book that he had in his hands.

"You're not going back to school? I heard that you were a loner in your school. You don't interact with others very much. Why is that?" I softly asked as I ruffled his hair.

Asher put down the book he was reading and let out a heavy sigh before he answered with a monotone voice.

"I'm not a loner. It's just that my level was too high for them to reach which leads them to not interact with me because they can't keep up with me. It's not like I would disguise myself to be like them just so that they would like me. I don't want that. Disguising and faking myself are not in my dictionary. Plus, acting isn't my profession."

I couldn't help but chuckle at the way his face changed very fast. I helplessly sighed and nodded my head.

"Fine. Just do what you want but you also have to interact with others even if it's just a small greeting or so." I said while ruffling his soft hair again.

I couldn't control him nor force him to find a friend, after all, he has his own life. After all, all I wish for him is to be happy and live a normal life that is completely different from the life we experienced when we are in Mother Kilda's house. Hearing my agreement, he happily smiled and hugged me.

"Sister, you're the best!"

Six days passed after I was sent to the hospital. Now, I'm already ready to go back to school, especially since my wounds are completely healed with no scars that even the doctor in the hospital was taken back by how fast my body recovered. Well, they sent me to a human hospital not the Ferrer's pack hospital even though they wanted to. All thanks to Asher who stopped them and insisted on sending me to the human hospital since I'm a human.

Anyway, I already knew that my self-healing abilities are a bit higher than a normal human's.

Disregarding those thoughts, I calmly step foot inside the classroom, hoping that none of them would come to pick a fight with me. After all, I can't afford to injure my body for now especially since I still had to visit the Dark Alley to join the contest as usual now that I'm completely healed.

When I entered the room, all of their eyes were suddenly on me. It was as if they were looking at the celebrity who entered-when I saw the way they looked at me, I swallowed the word celebrity.

All of their eyes were filled with disgust and excitement. It was as if they were disgusted by my presence and excited that they have something like a toy to be played with.

En. They were all like this.

But anyway, I know that they are just jealous of me because they can't achieve what I can achieve.

Although they have a lot of money and money is very important-of course, I also love money very much, without knowledge and brains, they are just those brainless fools who only had money.

"So this b***h is already alive. Is being buried ten feet underground good?" It was Samantha's lackey who snickered while looking at me from top to bottom.

I stared at her for a second. I felt like my eyes were almost blinded by how ugly her heart is.

I gave her my sweetest smile and answered, "It was quite comfortable. Why not invite you to gain experience on how comfortable it is?"

I saw her face stiffen and her cheeks reddened from anger upon hearing my words.

She pointed her fingers at me while kept on repeating the word 'you.'

I just chuckled and went to my chair. Before I could sit on my chair, someone slapped my desk and kicked my chair, preventing me from sitting.

I glanced at the person who did that. It was none other than Samantha whose chest was almost revealed given how tight and how small her clothes were more like she was just wearing a tube. Anyway, it was none of my business.

I looked up at her and raised my brows. "Do you want another punch? I can give it to you for free. You're in the great timing that I'm giving you a chance to get two if you agreed to let me give you one."

"You're getting cocky aren't you? Is this because you got to ride the tail of the Ferrer that's why you became more and more shameless?" Samantha angrily said as she was about to raise her hand to slap me but I managed to catch her wrist.

I smirked at her and softly whispered. "I can be more shameless if you want to. Do you want to try?"

After I said that I turned around and tried to find another suitable chair since Samantha kicked my chair.

My eyes brightened when I found one and immediately sat next to an unknown person whose face was covered with his bangs and their head was always lowered.

What's his problem? Was he bullied too?

Just when I was about to greet this seatmate of mine when suddenly the whole room became quiet, which made me raise my brows. Out of a sudden, laughter filled the room.

Their laugh was not filled with happiness but rather filled with mocks.

"Dang, the two nerds are sitting together!"

"Birds of a feather flock together!"

"Won't the two of them look good being a couple? A poor scholar and a slave scholar! Perfect!"

"I second the motion! They do look good together. Tsk, this omega man isn't a man at all! Look at how feminine he is! He is suited with that b***h named Yunifer!"

"How come the poor and the slave managed to be our classmates? I'm so ashamed!"

"Ew, they are too dirty! A human and an omega! A low-life poor creatures sitting next together!"

Hearing what they said without caring about the volume of their voices as if they wanted us to hear their words, veins bulged on my forehead as I gritted my teeth from anger yet I still have a smiley face on me despite that my smile didn't reach my eyes. Hehe. I want to bash their head open to see if they had some brains left or if all they could think was to look down at people just because they are lower than them.

I tsked. "Dumbass i***t," I murmured and let the bees continue buzzing all over. Who knows, they might shoo away to suck nectar again.

"Pfft..."

Such a small restrained chuckle coming from my seatmate made me look at him.

"What?"

He softly shook his head and immediately lowered his head knowing that I heard him.

"N-Nothing... I-I think what y-you said was right."
