Chapter 40

THIRD PERSON POV

Kale's body became soft as he was being held by Havoc who kept on calling out his name. His eyes fluttered as he tried to stop the blood from gushing out of his body by pressing his hand on Kale's back which had a large wound that he received after saving Havoc from being stabbed. "K...Kale, hang on for a bit okay? I will send you to the pack's doctor. I will make sure that you will be fine, okay? Just hang on..." Havoc kept on chanting while caressing Kale's pale face as he weakly raised his eyelid and looked at Havoc.

A soft smile appeared on Kale's lips as he weakly looked at Havoc. "N... Now, I..I've already paid back my debt..."

Havoc's face stiffened as his eyes started to redden. He pursed his lips and softly whispered, "There's no need for that between the two of us... you know that well. I...I'm sorry for being prideful..."

Kale let out a soft chuckle but he ended up coughing up blood, making Havoc's face stiffen as the hand that was caressing Kale's face was trembling.

Seeing Havoc being like this, the corner of his lips lifted. This was the first time that he ever saw such enormous emotions coming from him. For someone who is cold and tends to hide his feelings, this was the first time that he ever showed such big reactions towards something.

Kale weakly raised his hand and reached out to touch Havoc's face but when his hand couldn't reach it, it was Havoc's initiative to lean forward, bringing his face towards Kale's hands.

"E...n, I know... but if I can't make it-"

Before Kale could finish his words, Havoc's eyes reddened even more as he hugged him tightly in his arms, kissed his lips, and said with a heavy tone.

"Please don't say it. I'll send you to the pack doctor." He softly beg while tears beamed in his eyes his hands were trembling when he dialed his pack's doctor, telling him to his mansion as soon as possible.

Havoc just remained on the floor while hugging Kale, not even minding those wolves who tried to attack him. If they want to attack, just let them attack.

However, those wolves couldn't get closer to Havoc and Kale because Yunifer had already handed Saharah control of her body. It all happened when Yunifer's anger rose to Mount Everest and Saharah was able to wake up from her deep sleep. She asked Yunifer to hand over control of her body and leave all of the mess to her.

Of course, Yunifer immediately hands over control of her body, especially since she was slightly shaken by the fact that she was able to kill a living being and it wasn't just one that she killed but rather, ten wolves.

After Sahara sensed turbulent emotions of Yunifer, she immediately suggested handing over Yunifer's control.

"Yunifer! Be careful!" It was Lawrence who shouted while at the same time, killing another wolf who tried to bite him.

Before the wolf could stretch his hands and attack Yunifer, he suddenly felt his vision tilt and he felt his head roll on the ground.

He died being separated from his body. The culprit was Saharah, who had a satisfied expression plastered on her face when she was able to beat down her enemy.

Sarah's eyes glanced at Kale who was deeply in pain and was pale as paper while Havoc kept on talking to him, calling out his name and begging him not to close his eyes and leave him.

Saharah stand in front of them and not letting a single one of the wolves harm the two precious souls, especially Kale who was innocent and helped Yunifer without asking for something back and his heart was the sincerest. Of course, Saharah won't let him die.

When Havoc noticed what Saharah was doing, he just pursed his lips and let him do what she wanted.

It wasn't until Sahara spoke in a cold tone. "He's bleeding, if this would continue, he would die. Omegas like him don't have much ability like an Alpha or a Beta who can easily heal their wounds. He won't make it if this would get delayed-" "WHAT DO YOU KNOW?! IF THIS WASN'T BECAUSE OF YOU, HE WON'T BE IN THIS SITUATION!" Havoc angrily shouted as his eyes were glaring at Sahara with the intent to kill. He gnashed his teeth in anger while clenching his fist.

However, despite that when Havoc shouted earlier, his voice contained Alpha dominance and it was enough to make those who are lower than him, shivered but Sahara was standing fine without feeling anything.

Her cold eyes were just looking at Havoc then her gaze went to Kale who was also looking at her with a weak smile but he had this apologetic expression plastered on his face, especially after when he heard Havoc's words thatwereblamedng her. However Sahara didn't even pay attention to his expression, instead, she bent down and took Kale from Havoc's arms, making Havoc glare at her viscously he looked like he was going to kill Sahara if she would continue touching Kale, grabbing him away. "What are you doing?!" He angrily asked while he hugged Kale tightly, not letting him from being taken away from him.

Sahara coldly looked at Havoc and coldly answered, "If you don't give him to me, he will die. Not even the pack doctor could save him since the large hole at his back won't be easily treated by medicine, unless your pack doctor is a god who can easily heal his wound and even bring him back to life."

When Havoc heard this, he was contemplating at first but when he saw that Kale's breath was gradually weakening, he immediately let Sahara take him in her arms. Even though he was reluctant but since Sahara had a way then he will do anything. He can even sell his soul to the devil even if it means healing Kale.

"You better take good care of him. If anything happens to him, I'll kill-"

Before Havoc could continue his words, he found a hand wrapped tightly around his neck, preventing him from letting out his words and he felt suffocated.

Sahara's eyes dimmed as her other hand was holding Kale as if he was holding a pad of paper, while her other hand throttled his neck.

"I've had enough of your threats. If it was Yunifer, she would just let you threaten her, but since I'm Sahara, I won't let anyone dares to threaten either me or Yunifer!" Sahara coldly exclaimed while glaring at Havoc who couldn't get out of Sahara's hand. It wasn't until Sahara felt a cold hand tap her shoulder, making Sahara glance at Kale who was weakly smiling at her but his eyes were telling Yunifer to let him go.

Sahara snorted and quickly let go of Havoc. "And who was that person who just said that he wasn't as stupid as the Alpha King who would be obsessed with his wife and to the point that he would do anything to make her live again? Who was the person who said that you won't feel those kinds of emotions? Now, look at you. I'm sure you're starting to understand those emotions."

After she said that, she turned around and calmly walked towards the pack of wolves who kept on rushing in their direction especially after seeing that all of Yunifer's back was open since she was holding Kale in her arms.

However, when Havoc saw through their plans, his eyes reddened from anger as he became like a killing machine, killing those who tried to approach them.

It wasn't until Lawrence and Ishid appeared in front of Sahara and when they saw her holding a man in her arms, they didn't even bother to get jealous especially after seeing the situation of Kale whose breathing was gradually weakened and he seemed to be in a lot of pain but despite that, he never let out a groan nor scream from the pain.

When Sahara noticed that Drake was missing, her brows furrowed as she glanced at the two.

"Where is Drake? We need to go to where the Alpha King is!" Sahara raised her voice and was trying to look at Drake.

Lawrence still answered with a gentle tone while trying to soothe her emotions. "Don't worry, Drake is fine. He went to the Molave mansion where Alpha King was in. He wanted to take him down."

"Only him?" Sahara's brows furrowed while looking at them.

Just when they were about to answer Sahara's question when Havoc shouted from behind.

"Why do you keep on blabbing?! My mate is already on the brink of death?!" Havoc's veins throbbed and popped up on his forehead, clenching his fist from anger.

When Sahara heard this, her face immediately changed as she nodded her head toward Lawrence and Ishid.

"Go to the Molave mansion," Sahara ordered with a serious tone then she glanced at the panic-looking, Havoc.

"To save your mate, you better cooperate with us to kill the Alpha King. We have to take him down before Kale died, or else Kale would no longer be saved." Sahara said with a serious tone, making Havoc's eyes widen as his whole body stiffened. Havoc immediately nodded his head without reluctance. There was only anger that hadn't dissipated from his heart while his eyes glanced at Kale who still had a gentle smile plastered on his face despite that he was in pain. Seeing him like this, Havoc's heart was clenched as felt sore in his nose.

Havoc was following Sahara who was holding Kale in her arms. Although he didn't know why Sahara had to hold Kale in her arms he didn't dare to ask because it would only waste their time talking especially since Kale was in danger.

There were still a few wolves who were still alive, catching up on us and preventing us from running away but before Havoc could kill them, Ishid and Lawrence tacitly killed them within just a few minutes then they also caught up with Sahara who didn't rest when she was using her strength in holding Kale while at the same time, running as fast as she could without stopping.

It wasn't until they were able to reach the Molave mansion that was placed in the middle of the large forest. There were even wolves who were their enemy, growling at them but Havoc, Ishid, and Lawrence paved way for Sahara who kept on running until she was able to arrive at the Molave Mansion.

When Sahara arrived, her eyes slightly dimmed when she saw such a bloody scene. The hallway was filled with blood and there were even wolves who were in such a cruel state, bathing in their blood.

Sahara's nose wrinkled as there was disgust plastered on her face when she step her foot inside the hallway. She kept on reminding herself that the hallway was clean, trying to brainwash herself.

When she arrived at the main hall, her eyes slightly shook at the sight. He saw the Alpha King's white robe was covered with blood but he was still breathing. He doesn't have any emotions plastered on his face other than anger.

When Sahara glanced at Drake's state, he was also no worse than the Alpha King. There were large wounds on his body but he didn't mind them since they would henotheists own the blood stain left on his shirt. Sensing Sahara's presence, Drake's eyes widened as he looked at her with surprise especially after seeing that she was holding a man in his arms.

"What are you doing here?! Why did you send your foot into the den of the tiger?!" Drake couldn't help but shout from worries.

However, Sahara just gave him a look before her eyes glanced at the Alpha King who was also looking at him.

"You can't bring back your wife from the dead especially since she had been dead and was already a corpse." Sahara coldly said while looking straight at the Alpha King who had dark circles underneath his eyes. When Alpha King heard this, he sneered. "So you already regain your memories?"
