YUNIFER'S POV

I let out a heavy sigh after we arrived at our mansion. I still couldn't help but think about those poor maidens and also how their parents cried because of them. It's a pity that I couldn't do anything to save those maidens since it was too late and those witches moved too fast, especially these days. Who knows what would happen if they aren't careful about their moves? For sure that those witches would kill again to disguise themselves.

Whenever I remembered Kale and remember that there was also who disguised themself as 'Kale', I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief especially that 'Kale' didn't kill Kale just to impersonate him and disguise himself as the real Kale.

Well, those witches probably won't do it especially, especially because although Kale looked weak the person behind him, who was always protecting him is a strong a dangerous Alpha.

I took a glance at Lawrence who was signing some documents and he looks very busy now. However, after sensing my stares, a soft smile appeared on his lips as he looked at me.

"What is it, my dear?" He softly asked, making my heart tremble.

I cleared my throat and faked my cough before I answered him. "I think it would be better to make the information about the witches public so that they would also take precautions too. It would be bad if they would just disappear in thin air without knowing that they would die cruelly and brutally in the hands of the witches."

When he heard my words, he stopped signing his documents and thought throughout about what I said. After a while, he stood up and before he left, he looked at me with a smile plastered on his lips.

"I will tell Ishid and Drake about your idea, okay? I think your opinion is good, especially since these witches had no sense of measure and they are extreme especially if they wanted to get what they wanted. Who knows who would die next when they managed to kill twenty beings in a day." Lawrence softly considered as he walked towards my direction and pinched my cheeks.

I raised my head and smiled at him. "Okay, I'll just stay here for a while. I'm a little bit tired these days."

Lawrence nodded his head and patted my head. "En, take a rest here."

After that, I watched Lawrence leave the office before I lay down on the sofa again while I closed my eyes trying to think about those matters.

Especially the family of those twenty young maidens.

Although I already warned them to be careful about the witches and if they would see their daughters again, it means that they are not their daughters but rather they are the witches who were in disguise. I carefully warned them about the witches but I still couldn't help but worry a little.

Although it was up to them to save themselves, especially if they won't indulge in the fantasy created by the illusion about how their dead daughter came back or that they would just think that their daughter didn't die in the first place and that they would think that I was the one who was lying despite the evidence I have provided proving that their daughter was dead.

After all, it wouldn't be easy for them to accept that their daughter was dead. They would just rather fall into the illusions and savor every moment.

However, it wouldn't be good for them to fall into the illusions created by those witches.

Those witches are cunning, vicious, us, and manipulative beings. Who knows what they would do to the family of those young maidens that they have killed for only one reason? That is for the disguise.

I pursed my lips as I massaged my temple. Although I feel tired and my eyelids felt heavy, I still couldn't sleep properly, especially when I think about the families of the victims.

I let out a heavy sigh and was about to force myself to fall asleep when suddenly I heard my phone ring, making me open my eyes and even my drowsiness disappeared.

I let out a heavy sigh and took out my phone that kept on vibrating while at the same time, ringing on top of the table.

When I took a look at the caller, I found that it was Teacher Ren, who was a homeroom teacher of Asher.

Without thinking too much, I pressed the green button and spoke politely.

"Teacher Ren, good afternoon."

I heard her voice on the other line which was filled with anxiousness. "Good afternoon... it's just that, Asher..."

My brows raised upon hearing him mentioned my brother. "What does Teacher Ren want to imply? What happened to my brother, Asher?"

"Well, can I request you to come over? Asher was in the guidance office along with the kid that he fought with." Teacher Ren's voice sounded nervous and filled with a heavy sigh.

My eyes widened for a bit. After all, for someone like Asher who was sensible and mature at such an early age, he wouldn't fight with someone no matter what reason it is because he thinks that it's too troublesome to engage with other people and would rather read books to satisfy his curiosity.

"Are you sure that it was Asher whom you were talking about and not someone else? I know Asher very well. He wouldn't engage in a fight and would rather read books or ignore the person who wants to fight. Unless the other person provokes the bottom line of my brother." I calmly said but my brows were furrowed while speaking at Teacher Ren on the other side.

"Yes, it's Asher. I was even surprised earlier when their x5subject teacher suddenly rushed into my room and told me that Asher was engaged in a fight." Teacher Ren replied with a heavy sigh.

Just when I was about to reply when I heard Asher's voice which was calm and filled with irritation.

"You don't have to call my sister to solve the problem. I can solve it on my own and besides, she had a lot of things to do."

Hearing what he said, I was about to open my mouth and retort his words, wanting to tell him that no matter how busy I am, I still have time for him. However, before I could open my mouth, I found out that the line was cut off.

It was probably Asher who cut the line so that I won't be disturbed.

I immediately got my jacket and wore my black shoes before I left the mansion in a hurry.

I took my Mercedes and drove it to Asher's school.

Within just fifteen minutes, I arrived at their campus and parked my Mercedes in the parking lot before I got out and walked towards the Guidance Office where my brother, Asher, was admitted along with the person whom he punched.

From the moment that I arrived at the Guidance Office, I saw Asher who looked cold and indifferent, sitting on the chair refusing to talk to anyone and even his teacher who was asking for some details of why he punched the other, yet Asher remained silent and refused to answer their questions.

It wasn't until he felt such a familiar presence that he raised his head and looked at me.

His eyes brightened and he was about to stand up to hug me but then he remembered that he did something so he pursed his lips and sat back on his chair. His shoulders were down and he looked like a lost child.

I helplessly sighed and walked toward his direction and reached out to rub his head.

"Care to tell me what is going on and why are you here in the Guidance Office?" I softly asked while messing up his hair.

It wasn't until a scornful voice of a woman answered my question with undisguised hate. "That son of yours just punched the face of my son! My son was beaten to a pulp by that child! Is this how you raised your son?! A gangster?!"

My brows furrowed as I looked at her sharply. The woman was wearing a fitting crop top and enlarged breasts and her face was covered with make-up, plus her lips were red as if she had just drunk blood.

I coldly looked at her and snorted. "Did I ask you?"

After I said that, her cheeks flushed with anger as she walked towards my direction and was about to grab my hair but of course, how could the guidance counselor let her?

I just rolled my eyes at him then my eyes softened upon seeing Asher with his head down. I patted his head and softly asked. "What is going on? Tell your sister about it."

I saw him purse his lips and calmly answered. "Didn't she already tell you? I punched her son."

Before I could open my mouth to speak when suddenly, a woman's voice intervene.

"See?! Didn't you hear that?! You're f*g child just beat my son!" The woman angrily said while pointing her finger at Asher while cursing loudly.

"Shut up." I coldly demanded and I didn't notice my aura changed. It was filled with killing intent as my eyes sharply glared at the woman who stiffened upon hearing my words. I sneered at her and coldly retorted, "I know that you are angry that your son was beaten. However, you don't have the right to curse my brother as if he was the one who killed your son. As a mother, I know that you will be biased towards your child however, you didn't know the whole story, and who knows, maybe it was your son's fault first. After all, I am also biased toward my brother, Asher. He's not my son, rather he's my brother."

Just when she was about to open her mouth to speak but I just ignored her and glanced at Asher, who was also listening to our conversation.

"So, can you tell your sister about what happened?" I softly asked while looking at Asher who was pursing his lips his eyes were hesitating to tell me the truth.

In the end, I didn't force him. Rather, I glanced at the mother-son duo and calmly said. "I'll pay for the medical of your son."

Hearing this, the woman retorted. "No! Are you looking down on us? Do you think we can't afford my son's medical?!"

"Then what do you want?"

"Five million and it will be settled. I'll turn blind eye to this matter." The woman brazenly said full of arrogance.
