YUNIFER'S POV

After hearing that something might have happened to Kale that's why Alpha Havoc visited us and looked depressed, I immediately went towards the living room to meet him.

Just like what I imagined when I was talking with Asher about how Alpha Havoc was depressed, his whole body exudes a killing intent and there were dark circles underneath his eyes. He wasn't even dressed up in a black suit like he used to and was just wearing a white t-shirt and long black pants as if he was in a hurry and didn't have time to care about his looks that's why even his hair was messy and his shoulder was down, looking lifeless and gloomy.

Upon sensing my presence, he was forced to turn down a bit of his killing intent but his sharp and hateful gaze didn't disappear from his eyes.

"Kale disappeared." He calmly stated but the way he spoke those words was filled with anger.

I sat on the opposite chair and looked at him then asked, "What happened?"

It must be that those witches work again. They must deliberately target Kale since they used Kale's appearance back then and were planning to use his appearance to deceive someone, like for example, the Alpha Havoc.

However, thinking about what happened to those young maidens, I couldn't help but feel worried about Kale. What if he was hurt? What if he ends up in that state like what happened to those poor innocent young maidens too?

I pursed my lips and looked at the sharp Havoc and was waiting for his answer.

It wasn't until he opened his mouth and hoarsely answered full of anger. "When I woke up in the morning, I found out that Kale wasn't next to me and I thought that he was cooking our food so I didn't think too much about it. After that, I went to the kitchen to greet him good morning like I usually do, and I did. I saw his back so I greeted him a good morning but since I felt like something was wrong, I didn't go near him and hugged him from behind like I usually do, however when he turned around to greet me, that was the time that I wanted to kill someone."

"It was a witch who pretended to be Kale, right?" I answered with full of certainty while at the same time, looking at Havoc's expression.

Havoc angrily clicked his tongue and nodded his head in annoyance. "Although he manages to impersonate Kale, isn't that witch stupid?! Does he think that he can impersonate Kale so easily and I won't notice it?! Of course, I immediately noticed that he wasn't Kale in the first place but rather a witch, so although I was boiling inside, I pretended that I didn't notice his real identity. It wasn't until that he jumped onto me and wanted to hug me that I didn't control myself and broke his neck and kicked him hard. Now, the wall in the mansion had a spider web." "He died?" I asked.

"Of course, he died! After all, I was using all of my strength when I beat him. How dare someone like him tried to touch me and what's even more, he was impersonating my mate! I was choked up in anger and I felt like I was being consumed by my emotions that I didn't have time to think about my strength and immediately killed him. Now, there was no lead of where the hell he locked up my mate! I tried to find Kale and even well-searched the whole mansion but there was no Kale! I don't know where did they hide him and I couldn't help but feel worried and distressed about him." Alpha Havoc's words were mixed with anger and grievances.

Anger towards the witches who dares to use the same image of his mate to seduce him, thinking that he would succumb and won't be able to see through their disguise, and what's more, he hates it even more that someone dared to impersonate his m ate in front of him plus they even hide Kale from him and now he can't find him! He was boiling with anger and doesn't know what to do with his anger.

Grievances towards Kale. He knows that his mate isn't a wimpy and weak person like how they used to view the omega since in the eyes of others, omegas are weak. Even Kale, who was the omega in the family was viewed as weak of his blood-related. But Havoc always sees himself on equal footing with Kale.

Of course, at first, he thought that Kale was weak since he was an omega but after being with him, he realized that he wasn't weak. He was rather strong, have a calm and cool mentality and he has his ideas too.

However, the only thing that Alpha Havoc was worried about was that Kale was too soft, too kind, and too gentle! He was worried that he might get sold off somewhere or might get deceived by those witches.

He pursed his lips and looked at me with pleading eyes. "Help me find him, please... I am worried about him and I don't think those witches wouldn't do something bad about him especially since those witches are wicked and cunning! What if something happened to my mate, to Kale?"

Seeing him beg me, I couldn't help but let out a sigh and immediately nodded at his words. I never thought that the day would come when I would see him begging for help. For an arrogant Alpha like him who doesn't bow his head but is willing to plead and beg for the sake of his mate, for the sake of Kale, my eyes softened and I didn't even realize the curve in my lips.

It seemed that there was no need for me to get worried about how much Alpha Havoc loved Kale because based on his reaction and what he did, he is really in love with Kale. The kind of love that can't be replaced with treasures no matter how dazzling or tempting it is.

I glanced at Lawrence and he, who also received my gaze, nodded his head at me as if he was indicating that no matter what kind of decision I would make, he would whole-heartedly support it as long as it won't risk my life nor hurt me.

Then I glanced at Alpha Havoc and stood up. "Let's go back to your mansion first and let's see if we can find some traces left by those witches that could lead us to Kale."

"But I've already searched the whole mansion but I don't find any traces left by those witches." He hatefully said as he also stood up as soon as he saw me standing. "What about the witch that you killed? Is he still there?" I asked while looking at him.

Alpha Havoc fell into silence at first as if he was trying to think if that witch was still there, after all, he seemed to not care about that witch after killing him because all he think was Kale, who was being hidden by a witch. Out of worries towards his lover, his mate, he didn't have time to think nor care about the witch whom he killed.

After I said that, I immediately left the mansion while using the muscles in my legs to run as fastest as I could so that I could reach and arrive at Havoc's mansion as soon as possible before it was too late.

I also felt two presence following me closely, which are Lawrence and Havoc who were catching up on me.

When I arrived at the mansion, I immediately glanced at Havoc and before I could ask him where he killed the witch, he already walked forward to lead me towards the place where he killed the witch without letting me speak.

Afterward, we arrived at the kitchen and glanced at the body of the witch that was slowly evaporating. More like, its body was slowly decaying as if it had been dead for one week.

"What the hell!" Havoc cursed after seeing the witches whom he killed turn into rotten corpses.

However, I didn't mind his curse and instead, I stared at the corpse carefully trying to find any valuable things or even information that could lead to finding Kale. After all, finding Kale is the top priority for now, otherwise, this Alpha named Havoc would cause Havoc if he can't find his mate.

Suddenly, a light flashed in my eyes which made me take a glance into his pocket. I pursed my lips and took the courage to touch his decayed body, which made Lawrence's breath hitch as he was about to stop me from what I was doing but I was fast enough to grab the thing that was inside of the pocket in the decayed witch's pants.

I looked at Lawrence while pleading. "Bring me alcohol!"

I didn't even dare to look at the thing in my hand especially since it just touches a decayed body from the witch, and Lawrence immediately comes back with alcohol and then poured it on my hands. I showered my hands as well as the thing that I got from the witch with alcohol and make sure that it was clean before I let Lawrence throw the alcohol.

"A necklace?"

It was Havoc's voice that was filled with curiosity upon looking at the necklace.

When I took a look at it, it was a necklace. A silver necklace with a black amulet serves as its pendant.

"Did he steal it?" Lawrence spoke with uncertainty while looking at the amulet in my hands.

"Strange... I felt like something is wrong with this amulet." I softly said while inspecting the amulet.

It wasn't until I saw something more important than the clue instead of the pendant.

"What the f**k! Kale?!" I couldn't help but curse as my eyes widened while looking at the pendant in my hand.
