YUNIFER'S

POV

"Heh, you think I would be scared of you just because you're an Alpha King? Come on! Let's fight! See who's the strongest between us!" It was Lawrence who was already holding the weapon in his hands. Ishid also sneered. "Heh, talking so big. Do you think you are that powerful? Come on and fight me if you have guts! Who do you think you are!" "Damn you! I am your father now f**k off son!" Lawrence angrily scowled.

Drake also participates. "I don't have a weak father! Besides, aren't you two too proud of yourself? Were you jealous of how good-looking I am and how powerful I am? Well, it's not surprising." Ishid and Lawrence sneered. "Shut up, you narcissistic man! We all have the same faces!"

"Shut you, ugly. We are not! Do you think I am as ugly as you?!" Drake shouted while sneering at them.

Ishid looked at him in disbelief. "Damn, I also don't want to share the same face as yours! You're the ugly one! You are ugly! Your entire family is ugly!"

"f**k. We are family." It was Lawrence who also intervened while cursing.

Ishid realized this and immediately changed his words. "You are ugly! I am the most handsome one."

"Shut up, Ishid. Don't you see how sharp the blade I am holding is?!" It was Drake who spoke coldly.

Lawrence rolled his eyes. "Do you think you can bring us down with that blade? So what if you're holding a sharp blade? I am also holding a sharp dagger coated with poison."

"Heh, let's see who among us will die first." Ishid snickered while raising his weapon.

Listening to them while bickering and even though they were holding weapons in their hands, I could see that they had no intention of moving their weapons to harm the other. Although they were speaking coldly and ruthlessly towards each other I know that they were just teasing or joking about it.

However, they were too loud.

I gritted my teeth and glared at them. "Shut up, Drake Ferrer, Ishid Ferrer, and Lawrence Ferrer! I'll sleep alone for one month!"

Their eyes widened as their jaw dropped upon hearing my words as if they couldn't believe what I said.

Then they turned at each other, baring their teeth and childishly blaming each other.

"This is your fault! You will have to sleep alone for one month!"

"Shut up, it's not me! it's you who will sleep alone while I, sleep with my mate!"

"You hope! She's my mate! I will sleep with her tonight!"

Seeing that they started to bicker again, I let out a helpless sigh as I massaged my temple trying to calm my nerves.

Calm down, Yunifer. They are three years old. You have to understand that they are still in primary school.

"SHUT UP AND GO TO SLEEP! I WILL SLEEP IN MY ROOM FOR TWO MONTHS STARTING TODAY!" I shouted while glaring at these three dogs who were as if heaven and earth were destroyed. "But..."

I glared at them. "Since the three of you won't listen to me then I will not listen to you either. If you dare to step inside my room, I will cut your third leg!"

After hearing that I would cut their third leg, they instinctively used their hands to protect their third leg while looking at me with those pitiful gazes.

I rolled my eyes and decided to ignore them then I glanced at Havoc and Kale who were eating popcorn while watching the show.

Seeing that I walked in their direction, Kale innocently looked at me and handed me the bowl of popcorn. "Do you want some?"

I shook my head. "No, I'm good. You two can choose your room in the guest room. Don't worry, they are all clean and new."

Kale nodded with a smile on his lips. "En, we know. Don't worry too much about it. By the way, you should take a rest too, you seemed to be tired lately. Are you okay?"

Facing eyes filled with worries, I nodded my head and softly answered.

"I am fine. Maybe I was just too stressed out from the following events. I'll take a rest." After I said that, I felt the lovebirds alone so that they can have their time being lovey-dovey.

While I was going back to my room, I saw the three big dogs wagging their tails while their eyes were soft and looking at me with those puppy eyes.

"Yunifer, our beloved, we were wrong. Please don't punish us like this. Two months are too long. We don't even think that we can survive for one day." It was Ishid who complained while kneeling. Lawrence and Drake also nodded their head as if they agreed with Ishid's words.

I sighed helplessly. "Go on and take a rest first and we will talk about that. I want to rest too."

They were about to open their mouth to complain but after seeing that my complexion wasn't right, they immediately stood up after kneeling and walked in my direction.

Their eyes were filled with worries while looking at me. "What happened? Are you okay?"

I shook my head after hearing their questions. "No, I am not. I am just too tired after dealing with those witches. I want to rest too."

Hearing that, the three of them followed me to my room, and their eyes were filled with worry while looking at me. Their eyes seemed to be inspecting if I was injured or if there was something I had been enduring but hiding from them but after seeing that there was none, they let out a sigh of relief.

I lay down on my bed and felt that I could fall asleep now, but after seeing that the three were still there, I forced myself to open my eyes and glanced at them.

"The door is already open for the three of you to go out. Go and take a nap in your room." I softly yet sternly said while looking at them.

Suddenly, I saw Drake standing up and walking towards the door. I thought he would go out but in fact, he just closed the door and then go back to me.

"I already closed the door. We can't go out so we will stay here." He said with a smug look, leaving me speechless by his arrogance.

Drake's mouth curved up and lowered his head to kiss me on my forehead. "Go to sleep, we will stay here with you."

My eyes squinted as those other two also followed Drake. I sighed helplessly as I closed my eyes and before I fell asleep, I spoke. "You three better take a rest. Stop thinking about the issues related to those witches. For now, take a rest and regain your energy." After I said those words, I heard them hum and I could feel their presence near next to me which made me feel comfortable and secure.

Until the darkness swallowed me.

Yunifer woke up in dreamland. The moment that she saw the small child who looked exactly like her when she was a child, she knew that this was her dream. She started to dream about the past.

Yunifer saw the small Yunifer who was humming while walking happily back to their house, Yunifer also followed her closely.

The small Yunifer who arrived at the house immediately went towards her grandma who was sitting on a rocking chair while knitting a scarf. "Grandma!" The small Yunifer excitedly called out, making the grandma chuckle as she put down her knitting tools and hugged the small Yunifer. Yunifer's eyes widened and she was taken aback by how young the look of the 'grandma' that the small Yunifer said.

This was the grandma that was unfamiliar with Yunifer because from what she remembered, her grandma's looks aged and she didn't look this young before that's why Yunifer was taken aback.

"Grandma! Grandma! Where's mom and dad?" The small Yunifer who was supported by the witch grandma, curiously asked while tilting her head to the other side while trying to find her mother and father. Grandma let out a heavy sigh and patted her head. "They were still in their room. You know that your mom can't walk right? That's why your dad has to accompany her for fear that your mother will be lonely."

The small Yunifer pursed her lips aggrieved. "Was I the one who made my mother become like that? I heard from my fellow playmates that I was cursed and unlucky. Anyone who would go near me will be cursed." Grandma let out a soft chuckle as she kept comforting the small Yunifer. "Believe me, you aren't unlucky. Besides, your mother chose to be like that and it has nothing to do with you."

The small Yunifer brows furrowed. "But why would a mother choose to become like that? I don't want to see my mother suffering..."

Grandma smiled and patted her head. "That's because your mother loves you very much that's why she was willing to suffer like that."

A crystal tear fell from Yunifer's eyes, who were watching the interaction between the small Yunifer and the grandma.

Yunifer walked in their direction and tried to hug them but she couldn't touch them.

Suddenly, Grandma wiped the tears out of the small Yunifer's eyes. "Go on and visit your mom and dad. Tell them what you feel about them and don't forget to thank them." The small Yunifer nodded her head solemnly. "I will! I'm going now, grandma."

Grandma nodded her head with a smile as she watched the small Yunifer happily go to her mother and father's room.

Just when Yunifer was about to follow the small Yunifer when suddenly Grandma spoke.

"Come out. Don't hide." She softly said, making Yunifer stiffen.

Did she find out? How could that be? This is my dream!

Just when Yunifer was about to speak when someone speak ahead of her and showed up in front of Grandma.

"You're still the same as ever." It was a woman's voice but what was surprising was that she couldn't see its face and even her voice had some after-effects changes.

Yunifer saw Grandma's expression soften while looking at her. She let out a soft chuckle and retorted. "And you're still wicked as ever."
