THIRD PERSON POV

When Ishid and Lawrence received news from their shadow guard, saying that Yunifer was in a coma, they were also in a hurry to pack their things and were about to go to City B, when suddenly, the shadow guard spoke again.

"The Alpha King also reminded us that Alpha Ishid and Alpha Lawrence shouldn't leave the mansion for now especially since the witch leader was watching our moves closely, especially since both Alpha King and the Luna had provoked the witch leader. If you two would leave the mansion right now, for sure that the witch leader would strike while the iron was hot."

When both Ishid and Lawrence heard this, they slumped back on their chair with heavy expressions and couldn't help but sigh with heavy hearts.

"Curse those witches!" Ishid couldn't help but curse as he had an aggrieved expression plastered on his face because he couldn't go to City B to visit Yunifer.

Even Lawrence couldn't help but feel angry about the thought that they couldn't go to City B to visit Yunifer who was in a coma and was injured because of what the witches had done. Especially that witch leader who was the reason for all of this s**t. Until now, they still haven't found the hideout of the witch leader nor found out who the hell is her treasure!

However, on the other side, what they didn't know was that there were two of the witches who managed to slip their way inside the Cresent Pack. The other members of the Cresent Packs were also oblivious that two witches managed to slip in under the nose of the knights who were carefully inspecting the people in the packs, managing everything related to the ins and outs of the packs, especially that they have been told about witches.

They all never noticed that there was two of the witch who managed to impersonate someone from the pack and used their identity while the real owner of their identity died in their hands.

The two moles were bending themselves in the people of the packs as if they were not a witch but rather the real identity of the wolf that they had to impersonate and even took their identity.

At this moment, they were also gathering information and memorizing the blueprint in the territory of the Cresent Pack. They were also careful that they won't let others notice that there was something suspicious about them that's why they didn't contact their fellow witches or even the witch leader.

The witch leader had taken off her authority in controlling the two witches that's why these two witches managed to slip inside under the watchful gazes of the knights who were patrolling the area because these two witches were being controlled by the witch leader, rather they acted in their initiative although they were being commanded by the witch leader these two witches are the most loyal to the witch leader which was why she stripped off the curse that binds and controls them.

ON THE other hand, Drake was getting more and more restless these days. His brows were always furrowed and he always wore that emotionless expression plastered on his face. He had dark circles underneath his eyes and his aura was too gloomy. Even the nurses and the doctors tacitly didn't interact with him for fear that the volcano would erupt.

It had been almost a week but his mate, Yunifer was still in a coma. She had been lying on the bed without even waking up, which made Drake, depressed. He was even more anxious upon knowing that Yunifer's wounds had already been healed yet there were still no signs of waking up.

Kale couldn't help but ask the doctor who was checking Yunifer's condition. "How is she? Why is she still unconscious? It has almost been a week but she's still in a coma."

The doctor who was being asked also didn't know what was wrong with Yunifer. He had already checked three to four times about Yunifer's condition but when he checked, everything was normal and even her wounds had already been healed yet for some reason, she didn't wake up.

The doctor let out a helpless sigh and answered, "I don't know either. Her medical reports had stated that she was fine and there should be nothing else that is hurting her. However, for some reason, she was still unconscious."

Upon hearing that, Kale couldn't help but sigh helplessly. They had already invited the best and most famous doctors in the city yet all of them said the same thing about Yunifer's condition but up until now, she was still unconscious which was why they were getting worried and started to doubt their medical equipment.

After the doctors and the nurses left, Havoc glanced at Drake who haven't been responding to anyone and just quietly observing Yunifer these days, which made them worried about his health.

"You should take a rest too, Drake. If Yunifer woke up and saw you like this, for sure that she would be sad. Plus, if your siblings would see you acting like this, they would scold you for sure especially since you also prevented them from traveling to City B to see Yunifer's situation." Havoc calmly said while looking at him.

This time, Drake responded with a snort. "What the hell are you talking about? I didn't prevent them from seeing Yunifer, rather I prevent them from leaving the Cresent Pack alone especially since those f*****g witches are the son of a bitches. Who knows what they would do once they know that there were no Ferrer Alphas that had been guarding the packs? It would be easier for them to slip in."

"What if they already managed to slip into the packs without alerting the knights who were patrolling them? After all, those witches are the most cunning of all kinds." Havoc guessed as he shrugged his shoulder.

Hearing those words, Drake suddenly became quiet. Now that he thinks of it those witches had become as quiet as calm water. They never took the initiative took the opportunity that Yunifer was in a coma and Drake was with her and he has no time to deal with the witches even if they would kidnap or kill someone.

So how come they suddenly became quiet right now? Who knows what those witches are planning to do this time? It would be much better if they can prepare if something comes up.

Drake glanced at Havoc and said, "Those witches are getting more and more suspicious that they weren't doing something that they usually do. Contact Ishid and Lawrence and tell them to tighten the security then let them check if a witch who was disguised as someone had managed to slip under the watch of the knight who was patrolling the territory of the Cresent Pack.

"Oh? Did you realize something?" Havoc calmly asked but he already stood up and already took out his phone to call Ishid and Lawrence.

Hearing Havoc's question, Drake didn't plan to hide his idea from them. "I just think that these witches are suspicious since everything had been peaceful."

"But wouldn't it be good if it remained like this?" It was Kale who asked, clearly not understanding why Drake was overthinking things.

Drake calmly answered, "No, it's not. Given the temperament of those witches who had a revengeful leader, they won't stop until they will get what they want. If everything had been peaceful for now, then it means that they are up to something and that something is not good." When Kale heard this, he was still confused but then Havoc slightly bend his knees and whisper to his ears, and explained the details to his mate.

After Kale had been well-explained by Havoc, his eyes widened as he nodded his head. This time he could understand the reason why Drake was troubled by how peaceful it is.

Then Havoc stood up and looked at Drake, then he said, "I'm going to make a call to Ishid and Lawrence. By the way, are you planning to visit your mansion and be the one to inspect your packs? I will also go back to my mansion that was already renovated then take a look at my packs to see if they were being replaced by those witches."

Drake nodded. "I will go back once I will see in my own eyes that Yunifer was already awake. However since she was still sleeping, I will stay here."

Knowing that Drake can't be persuaded, Havoc just nodded his head and went to the corner to make a call.

Out of a sudden, Kale screamed while his hands were pointing at Yunifer. "Y-Yunifer... her fingers moved!"

Hearing what Kale said, Drake was the first one to turn his gaze at the beloved woman who was unconscious. His breath hitched upon staring at Yunifer and hoping that she would wake up right now.

"Let's call the doctor that Yunifer moved her fingers," Kale said while looking at Havoc and Havoc nodded his head at his request.

However, before they could tell the doctor about the matter Yunifer finally reacted to being in a coma for almost a week, when Yunifer's eyes fluttered and looked at us.

"Drake...? Havoc...? Kale....?" Yunifer softly murmured as she squinted her eyes adjusting herself from the brightness of the light.

Drake was the first one to answer his eyes brightened. "Yes, it is me. How are you feeling? Do you want me to call the doctor to check up on you right now?"

When Yunifer heard this, she shook her head and her hands reached out to rub her temples then when she looked at Drake, her brows furrowed.

"Why do you look so haggard?" Yunifer asked with a frown, making Drake flinch and couldn't answer her questions.

However, just not answering her questions proves that he was guilty. Her eyes squinted while looking at him.

"Is it because of me that I worried you too much? How long was I asleep?" Yunifer asked as she tried to sit on the bed, and Drake directly helped her.

"You've been asleep for 143 hours and 40 minutes." Drake softly answered while caressing her face and from time to time, he would pinch it to see if she was real.

Yunifer's eyes slightly widened. "I thought I was just sleeping for a few hours? How come I've been asleep for days?!"

And when she thought of what she saw in her dreams, she finally understood.
