THIRD PERSON POV

A month later, under the strict management of the Ferrer Alphas, they finally strengthened the security of their territory. They had already dealt with the aftermath of the structures and buildings that were damaged because of the war. Plus, they had already helped those families who lost precious people in their hearts. Both of them were very busy in those months and Yunifer hardly saw them. She would only meet them three times a month. Even though the three Alphas were very reluctant to leave the mansion and want to spend their quality time with Yunifer because they were Alphas, plus Drake was also the Alpha King, he had the responsibility to manage his pack, especially that among the other Alphas who had packed, only the Alpha King had the largest packs and it was managed by other two Alphas which are the siblings of the Alpha King. Inside the meeting room, all of the Alphas in the country were being called to meet with the Alpha King.

Because of the terrifying aura of the Alpha, if a werewolf who isn't an Alpha would mistakenly come into the meeting room where there were only Alphas inside of the meeting room, for sure that they would tremble from fear because they couldn't handle the pressure that the Alphas had emitted.

One of the Alpha from the Silver Pack was the first to disagree. "Did you call us so that we would help those who were implicated in your territory because of those witches? Those witches only targeted you and your packs, so as your people and it doesn't have to do anything to us about what happened to your territory."

Alpha King had a cold face, especially since he was not in a good mood for these months since he hardly saw Yunifer and wanted to go back there as soon as possible.

"I didn't say anything that you should help us since we already dealt with the matter that was being implicated because of the attack of the witches and I am f*****g not asking you for help." Alpha King who had been gloomy since earlier had become gloomier and even the Alphas inside of the room could feel it that's why they didn't say anything regarding the matter that Alpha King had asked for their presence.

Plus they know how bad it is if they would mess with the Alpha King and would lose breaking the ties that they have built for the so-called connection.

They aren't dumb enough to not know the importance of building connections and relationships with the other Alphas.

However, the Alpha of the Silver Clan had a bad temper, to begin with, and after he had heard the words that Alpha King uttered, he lost his temper as he raised his voice, slamming his hand at the long table, attracting the attention of the other Alphas. "Then if that's the case, why the hell did you have to call for our presence?! I also have a lot of things to do yet you're telling me that it's not because of that?!" He angrily shouted as he pointed his fingers at the Alpha King.

This time, the patience of the Alpha King had been stretched out to the point that it snapped.

Blue veins had appeared on the Alph a King's forehead as he gritted his teeth from anger while looking at the Alpha of the Silver Pack coldly.

"What the f**k are you saying that you were busy this whole time? You were busy f*****g with your mistresses and going to clubs to enjoy the services of the prostitutes there without even caring about the management of your packs? Don't you know that five witches managed to steal some information in your territory back then and even killed almost twenty of the members of your pack? Don't tell me that you don't know about it or is it because you were busy f*****g your mistresses left to right while your mate was the one who did her best as your Luna to manage the pack?"

As soon as the Alpha King's voice rang into their ears that was filled with mockery as he laughed coldly and his eyes were sharply gazing at the Alpha of the Silver Clan whose face was flushed as his eyes trembled, seemingly he couldn't believe how the Alpha King found out about the secrets that he had been keeping that even his mate doesn't know about it.

The Alpha King said again and left with a blow to the Alpha of the Silver Pack. "You even have the nerve to lie to your mate, saying that you were sick but in truth, you were just enjoying your wildlife outside."

After the Alpha King said that, he stood up in front of his throne and took out the sharp long sword that its sharpness could cut a tree with it.

He slowly walked to the Alpha King with cold eyes, making the Alphas tremble as they didn't even dare to look at him.

"I'm sorry! I-I'm sorry... I-I will change... G-Give me a chance!" The Alpha of the Silver Clan was already on his knees and was panicking that he even stuttered when he spoke to the Alpha King. However, the Alpha King remained indifferent as he coldly pointed the sharp blade on its throat making its breath hitched.

"I don't give second chances to bastards like you. It would be better if your mate would become the Alpha instead of you." After he said that, he sliced the head of the Alpha who was begging him.

When the blood spurts out of the Alpha's body, the Alpha King grimaces in disgust as his brother, Alpha Lawrence had given him the handkerchief especially since he knew his brother very much and he loves cleanliness more than the three of them. "You should calm down. Anyway, we will be going back to our home and spending our time with Yunifer." Lawrence calmly reminded.

As soon as Yunifer was mentioned, his darkened gazes were softened as he hummed softly, agreeing with the words that Alpha Lawrence said.

The other Alphas couldn't help but relieve after seeing that he finally calm down or else their head would be separated from their body just like what happened to the Alpha of the Silver Pack.

Although they did a background check on the new Alpha King and knows that he was the son of the previous Alpha King, at first they thought that he was also like the wimpy old man who just loves to sit on his throne and would point his fingers to order his subordinates but in fact, he wasn't that strong, especially that he already turned into an old man, rather he just have rong knights and subordinates who would protect him that's why he was daring and wasn't defeated by anyone, only his son. Drake Ferrer.

But the Alpha King that they saw right now wasn't the same as the previous Alpha King, rather he was aligned with the title of a tyrant.

Only if he was provoked and they won't follow his rules.

The Alpha King glanced at the Alphas who suddenly went silent.

"Do you know now why did I call for your attention?" The Alpha King coldly asked while glaring at them.

The Alpha of the Larian Pack was the calmest and although he was shaken, he was the bravest to answer the Alpha King's question.

"You called for us so that we would be aware that because of our lack of care, and management that we had towards our pack. Especially that there were leaders or Alphas like Marvin, the Alpha of the Silver Pack." He calmly stated but his legs were slightly shaken and his pride as an Alpha couldn't accept it. The Alpha King stared at him making him tremble and it was until the Alpha King nodded his head calmly.

"Indeed, that's the reason why I wanted to call all of your attention because we might not know if there were spies-not because of witches but maybe, your fellow werewolves who were trying to bring down your packs or whatever it is." Then the Alpha King added right away, "If ever that I would know that you all, the Alphas here, were neglecting their responsibilities and were just enjoying the pleasure of being the one who was in control, then be prepared for your neck to fly."

After that, he spoke calmly. "The meeting is adjourned."

Just when the Alpha King was about to step out of the meeting room when someone asked in a polite tone.

"Alpha King, may I ask who will be the new Alpha of the Silver Pack?"

The Alpha King didn't bother to look at him and answered naturally as if it was already decided.

"Of course, it was the mate of the Alpha that I just killed."

"B-But she's a woman." One of the Alphas protested.

This time, the Alpha King coldly gaze at the one who said that and let out a chuckle.

"So what if she's a woman? I can even give my title as an Alpha King to my mate and be the first woman that became the Alpha King throughout history. Do you have a problem with it?"

Then Alpha Lawrence also gently answered while sharply glaring at them with a smile on his lips.

"That woman was much suited to be an Alpha since all this time, she was the one who was handling the Silver Pack and managing them despite that she was inexperienced compared to her Alpha. Is there anyone more suited to be the Alpha of Silver Club?" When Alpha Lawrence asked those words, he didn't wait for their answer and directly left the room along with Alpha King who seemed to be in a hurry to go home.

Finally, at last, they will be able to see the woman that they loved the most.
