Neither spoke for a while.

Kira looked out the window and couldn't recognise the road they were on. 'Where are we going?

This didn't look like the way home.

But she knew she wasn't going to get a straight answer out of him.

So Kira just gave up and closed her eyes.

The afternoon heat was making her drowsy.

She settled in for a long nap.

It was nice at first, with the aircon blowing cool air on her face and the steady hum of the engine acting as a soporific.
