Benson held her neck, making Yvonne tilt her head back. The blanket slipped off, and under the dim yellow light, her body looked incredibly beautiful, her fair skin glowing enticingly In the soft light.

His gaze deepened, filled with a nearly reverent appreciation.

He reached out and pulled her into his arms. The force wasn’t strong, but it carried an irresistible power.

Yvonne instinctively resisted, but his perfect mix of dominance and gentleness made it hard for her, just waking up and with weakened willpower, to resist.

Benson’s fingers lightly glided over her back, sending waves of subtle electricity through her body. causing her to tremble uncontrollably.

She felt the touch of his fingertips as if a magnetic force drew her closer to him. Yvonne felt a bit annoyed, realizing that despite her dislike for him, she couldn’t control her body’s reactions.

Benson’s breathing deepened, his palm exploring her back, the warmth transmitting through her clothes. to her skin, bringing a subtle stimulation.

His fingertips drew gentle circles along her spine, causing her body to shiver slightly. She closed her eyes, trying to fend off the heart–racing sensation.

“Benson, let go of me.” Her voice carried a tremble, her tone firm, yet her body unconsciously leaned closer to him. She felt his strong body, warm and safe, the familiar scent enveloping her in an

indescribable daze.

He ignored her request, instead holding her tighter, the distance between them shrinking as if he wanted to merge her into his embrace.

Lately, they had been constantly arguing. Benson wanted to kiss her, but she avoided him. This state frustrated Benson, but he had never truly given up his desire for her.

He finally couldn’t suppress his longing, lowering his head to kiss her. Yvonne was startled by his sudden move, reflexively trying to push him away, but his kiss carried a nearly mad passion, rendering her resistance futile.

Benson, having gained control, seemed to lose himself driven by a wild urge to devour her. Yvonne, unable to escape, was overwhelmed by his passion, taking a moment to regain her senses.

The dim light was too bright for her, hurting her eyes. Struggling to break free from his embrace, her voice trembled, “Didn’t you say you wouldn’t force me if I disagreed?”

Benson paused, looking at her with complex emotions. His fingers gently stroked her cheek, his tone soft but firm, “I’m not forcing you, just hoping you’ll trust me once more.”

A hint of hesitation flashed in Yvonne’s eyes, quickly replaced by cold rationality. She said coldly, Benson, you’re the best at pretending. I won’t fall for it again.”

Benson’s gaze deepened, his fingers lightly tracing her lips with a subtle tenderness. “Yvonne, I’ve never pretended. My feelings for you are real.”

Yvonne’s heart skipped a beat, unable to believe her ears. She tried to remain calm, hiding her emotional turmoil. “Benson, what’s the point of saying this? You only crave my body.”

A flicker of pain crossed Benson’s eyes. He sighed softly, holding her tightly, “Yvonne, it’s not just your body I crave. It’s you.”

Hearing his words, Yvonne’s defenses began to crumble. She bit her lip, holding back her tears, but they

spilled over despite her efforts. Her body trembled slightly, caught in a final struggle with her inner conflict.

Benson gently wiped away her tears, “Don’t cry. I don’t want you to be sad.”

Yvonne finally broke down, softly sobbing. She knew her heart had been touched by his tenderness, but she still didn’t want to admit it. Her voice choked with sobs, “Benson, I’m really tired.”

Benson looked at her, his gaze filled with tenderness and determination. “Yvonne, I’ll make you trust me again.”

Yvonne was tom with conflict and struggle. She didn’t know whether to believe him. Her mind told her not to repeat past mistakes, but her heart beat for him.

Benson said nothing more, just held her gently, giving her an unprecedented sense of security. His fingers softly stroked her back, soothing her.

Yvonne’s emotions gradually calmed down. She closed her eyes, feeling his warmth. She knew she couldn’t escape anymore. Perhaps giving him and herself a chance was her best choice.

Benson watched her, his gaze filled with satisfaction and joy. He knew Yvonne’s heart had begun to open to him. He lowered his head and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead, as if declaring his victory.

“You’ll like it,” he said softly, his tone confident.

Yvonne didn’t respond, just leaned against him, feeling his heartbeat. She knew the road ahead was still full of challenges, but she was willing to face them with him.

They held each other quietly, enjoying the rare peaceful moment. The dim light created a warm atmosphere in the room.

Time seemed to stand still as they immersed themselves in each other’s warmth. No matter how noisy the outside world was, at this moment, they belonged only to each other.

Yvonne finally fell into a deep sleep in his arms. Benson looked at her sleeping face, filled with tenderness and affection. He gently picked her up and carried her to the bedroom, laying her on the soft bed.

She stirred slightly in his arms but didn’t wake up. Her face carried a serene smile, as if she had found a long–lost sense of security.

Benson gently covered her with the blanket, watching her sleep, filled with satisfaction and joy. He knew, no matter what the future held, he would protect her and never let her get hurt again.

He lay down beside her, holding her tightly, feeling her warmth. The light dimmed, and they spent the quiet and beautiful night in each other’s warmth.

However, when Benson woke up, he found Yvonne no longer beside him. The other side of the bed showed no sign of having been slept in. He checked the time, it was 2 AM. This woman preferred sleeping on the sofa rather than sharing a bed with him?

He left the bedroom and found Yvonne sleeping on the office desk, her head resting on her arm. His frustration instantly dissipated. He walked over, seeing luxury brand follow–up progress reports scattered on the desk, none successful, but with attached solutions.

Benson smiled. His wife always surprised him. Since being with her, despite his restraint, he couldn’t deny her brilliance, making him admire her uncontrollably.

His fingers touched her cheek gently, his gaze carrying a tenderness he didn’t even realize. She had come a long way. These brands now avoided Caesar. When her father was around, those brands were eager to

enter.

He picked her up, and she opened her eyes. “Close your eyes, go back to sleep,” he whispered. She

obediently closed her eyes. He gently laid her on the bed, turned off the light, and held her in his arms, closing his eyes too.

Meanwhile, a woman hurried from Las Vegas and rang the top floor hotel doorbell. The man pulled her in, pressing her against the door, “Baby, you really make me more fascinated!”
