Leo's grip on me softened. He sighed as he let me go completely. Then he sat on the bed next to me, and gestured for Atlas to sit on my other side.

"I did tell her about you Millie. About all of you. I told all 11 people I stay with every day after school. Teresa just doesn't care either way. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about that." Leo told me.

I do not like the sound of that at all, but Leo is right, what is he supposed to do about that?

"I find that ignoring her works better than constantly yelling at her. She is annoying, and I can't stand her. I've caught her going through my phone several times. Everyone that is in my group knows how I feel about her. It's clear to them all, and Teresa just thinks it's a game. I promise that I will never let her, or anyone else come between us Millie." Leo said.

I gave him a pout.

"I wish you would have told us this sooner." I said.

"I won't make that mistake again, and we are all going out with them next Friday. All of you can meet my new friends." He said.

I smiled.

"That would make me feel a lot better." I said.

"Good. Now, who the fuck is Tristan, and why the f**k are you tutoring him?" Leo asked angrily.

I rolled my eyes.

"That's more punishments princess." Leo said.

"He just transferred in. He's Professor Homak's nephew. She told me that if I could manage my time, and tutor him, that she would be looking at me to take over as her TA next year." I told them. Leo's eyes went slightly wide.

"Lila was with us most of the time we were there. Tristan and I were only alone for like a half an hour, and we were in the library. I shouldn't have let him touch me though, and I will be telling him to keep his distance." I rushed out. Leo's expression hasn't changed.

"I.. can tell him I can't do it if you want.." I said softly.

I really don't want to though. Not because I want to spend time with Tristan, because let's face it, the dude spells trouble. I just really want that TA position. It could open so many doors for me.

"Professor Homak offered you a TA position?" Leo asked.

"Well, not exactly. She told me that her current one is graduating this year, and that I'm a promising student. She said that if I could manage this on top of my school work that I could be her taking over next year." I said. "She's bribing you?" Atlas asked.

I turned to shrug at him.

"Kind of, I guess." I said.

"I've heard a lot about Professor Homak." Leo said. "Wouldn't you be her youngest TA ever?" He asked.

I turned to him, and nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah. I.. really want that, but if it makes you guys uncomfortable, I won't do it. I already have self defense classes twice a week with Lila. And our meetings with the other girls from high school. It's a lot on my plate." I rushed out. Leo shook his head at me.

"You are not quitting. You are going to keep tutoring him." He said.

A wide smile spread across my face.

"Really?" I asked.

Leo nodded.

"This is a wonderful opportunity baby. I might have been jealous when I saw you two, but I trust you." He said as he wiped some hair out of my face. "We want you to get that TA position, but there will be rules." He said. "Okay." I replied instantly.
