“Are you worn out?” Nathan softly caressed her hand, advising, “Work is endless.

Remember to look after yourself and rest more.

It’s important to balance work and relaxation.

With those words, he crouched down and lifted her into his arms.

“Time to head back.

Following their meal, they both engaged in playing a mobile game together.

The ambiance was enjoyable and peaceful.

It wasn’t until ten at night that they went upstairs to shower.

“Good night, honey.

” Lucinda gave him a goodnight ki*s and drifted off to sleep.

Nevertheless, Nathan remained vigilant, refusing to shut his eyes.

Once he was sure she had drifted off to sleep, he silently rose from the bed and efficiently tidied up all the items on her dresser.

He did so, taking precautions in case she had another relapse during the night.
