Billionaire's Reborn Baby -
Chapter 1049 Roxy Copper Two (2)
"What are you looking at?" Leon put his hand on Collin's shoulder breathlessly. "I was so tired. Seeing that I was about to leave, the old man blocked the door with the table. I was scared. I almost died inside." "Then how did you come out?" Collin asked.
Leon let out a long sigh of relief and pointed to the room, "Climb the wall."
Collin shrugged.
The wall was not high, not even two meters.
They had the same pork that was not finished last night for lunch. Collin applied for the principal's homemade chili sauce.
Then all the doctors discussed in the dormitory about going out to buy something else to eat. Apart from a full cart of medicine, they only had some medical books.
The villagers here couldn't speak Mandarin, let alone read.
The newcomers unexpectedly found some people who promised to come to class tomorrow. As seniors, Collin and Leon were stressed and decided to drag a family to class tomorrow at all costs. Thus, Collin and Leon set off with confidence in the afternoon.
Collin gave up after knocking on the door.
He smoked and leaned against a tree tiredly. "Go ahead. I will give up."
Leon refused to give up and knocked on the door. Then he shouted to Collin, "Hey! What is he doing? Is he dumb?"
Collin looked up. A short man stood at the door. He looked a little scary. His entire head seemed to be scorched. His face was covered by his long hair. One of his eyes was good and the other was blind, tightly closed.
He stood at the door and shouted something, gesturing with his hands.
"Hello, are you Livia's uncle?" Collin thought of the little girl and asked.
The mute seemed to understand and point in a direction.
It was the direction of the school.
Yes, the little girl went to school every day.
"Open your mouth and let me see." Collin stepped forward and opened his mouth to signal.
Mike took a step back and misunderstood what Collin wanted to do.
"Let's go to school tomorrow. We'll have class." Collin said to Mike.
"Will he come tomorrow?" After walking to the next house, Leon asked.
"I don't know. Maybe." Collin said meaninglessly, "It is too closed and the news is blocked. Education can't keep up. The environment..."
He glanced around. Life trash was everywhere.
It was fortunate that the little girl said that casually throwing trash was not allowed.
It seemed that the little girl had a good education.
"What's wrong with the environment? Is it great?" Leon poked the cigarette butt on the tree, "It is like a primeval forest. I saw someone peeing in front of the tree in the morning."
Collin looked at the tree and moved to the side with a frown.
"Not this one. But it should be the same." Leon shrugged.
Collin looked at the watch, "Let's go to the next one."
Fortunately, they did not give up. When they walked down, they found that many young people could speak Mandarin. Most of them were women. All the men went out to work to make a living. The women liked to gather at one person's house almost every day to chat. When Collin and Leon walked over, the women blushed.
The women weren't used to talking face to face with the two men, so the women were about to leave after a few words.
"Hey, don't forget to attend class at school tomorrow! Report Doctor Mueller!"
The women nodded and ran away with red faces.
The next day, not many people went to school, only a dozen or so. Thirteen newcomers took turns to lecture on the stage and invited the villagers for a demonstration.
Until the afternoon, Mike did not come.
Collin picked up his phone and said to Leon, "I'll go take a look."
"Where are you going? I'll go with you," said Leon.
Collin nodded and walked to Mike's house.
"There is no need to treat him, right?" Leon whispered.
"A little girl asked. I should at least show her. If I can't treat the mute, I'll tell her." Collin knocked on the door.
But no one opened the door.
Collin waited at the door for a while before Mike came back. Mike carried a few thick pieces of wood on his back. He carefully carried them in.
A woman's voice came.
Then Mike made a sound.
The woman's voice was vaguely familiar. Collin was dazed. He took a few steps towards the door and wanted to take a look in. Mike closed the door. "Hey, he is gullible." Leon knocked on the door angrily, "Hey! We are doctors from the city! We specialize in treating people! Open the door!" "You are like a robber. Let's go." Collin pulled Leon.
"Let's go." Leon took out a cigarette and lit it for himself and for Collin. "The mute is strange. He is so ugly, but someone wants him."
Collin answered casually.
The voice reminded him of Roxy.
Too much time had driven him crazy.
"Is the mute literate? There is such a big desk in the yard," Leon said.
"A desk?" Collin thought of Livia and smiled, "It should be that little girl's desk."
"It's strange. This little girl's surname is Copley. Why is Nunn on the list?" Leon said vaguely as he smoked.
Collin didn't mind when he saw Livia running home with her bag. Many children chased her and shouted, "Mute Nunn! Mute Nunn! Mute Nunn's little mute!" Collin stopped and frowned deeply.
Livia saw Collin and Leon, but she didn't say hello and ran straight out.
When seeing the doctors standing here, the children stuck out their tongues and ran away.
Leon said with disgust, "These children are lacking in manners. Their faces are so dark."
Collin agreed, "Livia should have a good education. Yesterday, she even reminded me not to throw trash everywhere."
"Education? She seems to be from a single-parent family." Leon thought.
"What?" Collin looked back. Livia had run away. He turned around and asked, "Where is her father?"
"How would I know?" Leon shrugged.
