Billionaire's Reborn Baby -
Chapter 1085 Roxy Cooper Thirteen (1)
On May 20th, it was sunny and warm, and there were no clouds in the sky.
Roxanne sat in the bride's break room, and the makeup artist went out after finishing her makeup.
"Mom, are you nervous?" Livia asked when she saw that everyone in the room had left.
Roxanne shook her head.
Glancing at Livia's teasing gaze in the mirror, Roxanne smiled and said softly, "A little bit."
"Mom, you're very beautiful today. Really," Livia said with a smile.
She gave her a thumbs up.
Both of them thought of Mike at that moment.
Livia took out her phone and took a picture of Roxanne. "It doesn't matter. I'll send it to Mike. He can see how beautiful you are today."
Roxanne chuckled.
There was a knock on the door, and Livia replied, "Please come in."
Roxanne raised her head to look and was slightly surprised, but there was obvious happiness in her eyes. "Vivian?"
Vivian came in unexpectedly. "Rag! You broke my heart! You didn't even tell me your wedding date! If it weren't for Doctor Collin informing me in advance, I wouldn't have been able to make it here at all! I took a plane and took a bus and jolted for more than ten hours here for you! Who is this?" He turned his gaze to Livia. "Flower girl?"
Roxanne stood up. The pure white wedding dress was as simple as a long dress. She did not wear any jewelry, except for a pair of elk-shaped ear studs on her ears. When she was close, he could smell the perfume on her body. The smell was indescribably confusing and sexy.
"She's my daughter, Livia Copley." Roxanne looked at Livia and said, "This is Vivian Brown. Mom mentioned him to you. Call him Vivian."
"Hello, Vivian." Livia greeted politely.
"Oh, your daughter..." Vivian was about to sit down when he suddenly shivered, "What? Your, your daughter?"
Since Roxanne left and did not keep in touch with anyone, Vivian naturally did not know where she lived these years and how her life was. To be honest, if not for Collin still remembering to send him the message, he would have thought that Roxanne must have married another man.
Who knew that the two were suddenly married, and now they had such a big daughter!
"Oh my god!" Vivian opened his eyes wide, "You shocked me. We have been apart for a long time, so you prepare such a big surprise for me!"
"How about you? How are you recently?" Roxanne asked with a smile.
It had to be said that Collin understood Roxanne the most. Perhaps if it was someone else, Roxanne might not necessarily be able to chat frankly with others to eliminate her nervousness before marriage. But Vivian was different. During the most difficult period of Roxanne's life, Vivian accompanied her. He was a companion, a superior, and a friend. Only he witnessed how she worked hard to live and desperately integrate into this world...
"Doctor Collin guessed it right," Vivian said angrily.
Roxanne smiled faintly but did not ask.
"I asked him why you didn't contact me. He said that you might find it troublesome for me, so you probably wouldn't contact me." Vivian said though he tried not to tell her.
After Vivian finished speaking, he sighed, "It's true. You haven't changed at all after so many years."
"So do you." Roxanne looked at him and cracked a smile. "Glad to see you again!"
She took the initiative and hugged him.
Vivian hugged her and couldn't help but praise her, "However, this is the first time I've seen you wearing white. You look really good."
There was knocking at the door.
Livia went to open the door, only to see Collin standing at the door.
Vivian quickly stood in front of Roxanne, "What are you looking at! You can't see her now! Do you understand the rules?"
Collin was speechless.
Roxanne pushed aside Vivian and asked Collin, "What's wrong?"
Collin looked at her and said, "Come and take a look."
Roxanne turned around and asked, "How is it?"
"It looks good." Collin smiled.
Vivian wasn't tall, so he was jumping hard. He was so exhausted that he didn't stop Collin. He glared at Collin and said, "Somebody told me that the bridegroom can't see the bride before marriage. Do you understand?"
Collin said, "I don't understand."
Vivian was speechless.
Collin walked in and helped Roxanne comb her hair before saying, "I'll introduce a few friends to you later."
"OK."
Just as he finished speaking, a group of people rushed in from the door.
Roxanne saw Janessa, Emma, and Christy standing in the front with Armando, Jaquan, and Trevor behind them.
Jaquan exposed his head and smiled awkwardly, "They... can't wait to see the bride..."
Janessa gazed at Roxanne attentively as soon as she entered, and then she grabbed Roxanne's hand. "Heroine, I never expected that it would be you who subdued this rich bachelor in the end. I thought that Doctor Collin would be lonely for the rest of his life. I must propose a toast to you later!" As soon as she finished speaking, she stuffed a red envelope into Roxanne's hand in a very unrestrained manner. "The few of us don't have anything else except money. It's a bit vulgar. But please take it."
Roxanne said, "... I like money."
Janessa laughed out loud and said to Collin, "Doctor Collin! You have good taste. I like your wife."
Words failed Collin.
Emma took out a gift box from behind and passed it to Roxanne, "A greeting gift. We might have to come and disturb you frequently in the future."
