Billionaire's Reborn Baby -
Chapter 1088 Noah and Christy Three (1)
Happisland University was built later.
Because of the money donated by many rich people in Happisland City, this university looked more imposing than the other universities. The teachers hired at Happisland University were well-known professors at home and abroad as well as some famous figures on TV. In recent years, many young promising people had graduated from Happisland University, increasing the reputation of this university. And the most outstanding of the promising youths was Jacky.
"Jacky!" Christy called. As soon as Christy got out of the car, she saw Jacky surrounded by many students and teachers at the school gate.
Jacky was very good-looking. He was slightly different from his father, who looked clean and delicate. Jacky took more after Christy. With this kind of beauty, even if Jacky just stood there without saying anything, he could still attract the attention of many people.
Not to mention the other titles Jacky had, including a genius, a prodigy, and an inventor.
Jacky handed the flowers in his hand to Christy.
"Why did you buy me flowers?" Christy asked excitedly.
Jacky pointed at the students behind him, and said, "The flowers are from those classmates."
Christy went speechless.
Ferne burst into laughter, and then Noah pulled him into the school by the collar.
Levin was still sitting in the corner of the campus. When Noah passed by, Levin was staring at a flower in the garden.
"What's so special about this flower?" Noah sat beside Levin and asked.
"Congratulations on your graduation." Ferne took out a gift from his chest and handed it to Levin.
Levin took the gift with a smile and said, "Thank you, Mom."
"No! Call me Dad!" Ferne slapped Levin.
Levin ignored what Ferne said and opened the gift instead. It was a very delicate pocket flashlight the size of a pinky. It was very textured and heavy. "Do you like it?" asked Noah.
"Yes, I like it," Levin said. Levin turned on the flashlight. Although the flashlight was very small, the beam could reach far away. Levin tested it in his palms for a moment, then put the flashlight into his pocket and asked Noah, "Dad, you picked it, right?"
Noah raised his eyebrows.
"I was the one who picked the gift," said Ferne.
Noah pointed to the flower in the garden and asked, "What's wrong with the flower you were just looking at?"
Levin looked over and asked, "Can you see any difference in that flower?"
"No," Ferne moved closer.
Noah carefully compared that flower with the other flowers for a while, and then said, "It has fewer leaves than other flowers."
Levin was stunned for a moment. "You can see that?"
"Did you make it?" Noah raised his eyebrows.
Ferne then looked at the flower carefully. It was no different from the other flowers, but if looked carefully, it could be seen that there were only two leaves on the flower, while the other flowers had four or five leaves.
"Yes." Levin took out a bottle from his pocket and said, "I was so bored that I extracted some juice from the flower and leaf to do some research. Then I wondered if a flower would look better if its leaves were gone, so I made this. It seems halfway there."
"You can apply for a patent, my boy!" Ferne patted Levin on the shoulder excitedly.
Levin said without any expression, "No one will admit to an invention that does no good."
Ferne did not say anything.
Ferne thought what Levin said made sense.
"Let's go. The ceremony is about to begin." Noah glanced at his watch and walked forward. After a few steps, Noah turned back and took out his phone to take a picture of the flower.
Levin turned back and saw the scene. Then he asked, "Dad, what are you doing?"
"Just record it." Noah put away his phone.
"Record what?" Levin was puzzled.
"Record your growth." Noah touched Levin's head, "Your mother always thought that you didn't want to do anything. But I don't think so. Slowly, you will find out what you really want to do." "Don't you think I'm stupid and ugly? And don't you think I'm nothing compared to Jacky," Levin asked as he looked at Noah.
Levin was still concerned about that.
Because otherwise, Levin wouldn't have been isolated from the moment he became mature.
"People are all visual animals. They will naturally like beautiful things and people. But Levin, you have to know," Noah said, holding Levin's shoulder, "Those who love you and care about you, don't care what you look like. And even if you become old and ugly in the future, they will still love you."
"Are you touched? Noah never said anything so sentimental to me in his life, and I'm about to cry," said Ferne as he handed a tissue to Levin.
Levin went speechless.
The graduation ceremony began in the auditorium.
Noah met up with Christy and the others and sat together in the hall. The principal was giving his speech on the stage, while Jacky, the most outstanding student in the whole school, was about to speak on the stage.
"Jacky shouldn't be nervous, right?" Christy asked from below the stage.
Trevor nodded.
"Jacky needs to just read it after he has memorized the manuscript. What's there to be nervous about?" Ferne said.
Christy took a deep breath and said, "I don't know why, but I'm a little nervous,"
"Maybe when your son expresses his thanks to his parents later, the lights will come to us..." Ferne coughed a little and straightened his collar, "Smile for the camera, Noah. We're gonna be the best-looking parents."
"Alright," Christy said with a poker face.
