Chapter 700 Win The Hearts Of The Three Warriors

After getting the Massacring Soil, Ricky no longer hesitated. He immediately took it and the Source of Golden Body back into his Massacring Zone, and began to fuse them.

Three figures landed in front of him. As they stood, he had a better view of their faces. The three warriors, Henry, Yori, and Thiago, stepped forward to greet him.

The smug looks on their faces were unmistakable.

Similarly, Ricky could feel that their inner strength increased too, despite maintaining their cultivation base. Their stay in the ancestral land of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe provided them with great benefits as well.

Ricky estimated that because they were the Predatory Holy Ants, the pond of original energy in the ancestral land of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe could give the them more power.

In their time apart, the three went through changes without his notice. As they possessed powerful mutants, Ricky expected their future endeavors in martial arts would blossom. Considering their great potential, their career success was determined.

"How did you get here? And what brought you three here?" Ricky asked, his eyes widened as he watched their approach

"The ancestral land of the Massacring Holy Ant tribe was created with a connection with our ancestral land. Naturally, due to this attachment, we can enter this place without much effort,” Henry explained with a smile.

Sincerity tinged the corners of Henry's smile. Ricky couldn't detect a trace of grief or the deep- seated hatred he harbored for the Massacring Holy Ant tribe in that smile. He found the same sincerity in the faces of Yori and Thiago. From the looks of the three, they had managed to let go of their grudges. Otherwise, they could not have acted so nice to him now.

"Oh, I see." Ricky nodded slightly when he heard Henry's words. Simultaneously, he withdrew his second level of Ultimate Golden Body. He landed in front of them with a soft thud. His eyes turned critically to face them, sizing them up and down.

"I can't feel any trace of hatred in your body anymore. It seems that you have forgiven the Massacre Holy Ant tribe,” Ricky said excitedly.

Since he received the heritage of the Massacring Holy Ant tribe, dealing with all of its affairs was part of his responsibility. To know that the three let go of their hatred and forgave the tribe brought him relief. He was thrilled in the depths of his heart.

"The Massacring Holy Ant tribe didn't do anything wrong. Perhaps we were too arbitrary and extreme in the past. We shouldn't have blamed the Massacring Holy Ant tribe without investigating the truth. Through the scenes presented in our ancestral land, we found the truth and finally realized that we were wrong," Henry said in a sincere tone.

"Our enemy is not the Massacring Holy Ant tribe. It's the shameless traitor and the devils. Without them, the creatures of our tribe would not have been destroyed.”

"Ha-ha, then it seems we'll be fighting partners in the future.” There was a lightness in Ricky's chest. He was so glad, a peal of laughter burst from his mouth.

A heavier feeling accompanied the new developments too. Deep inside, he felt that it was a great pity that the three might never want to be his men.

“Maybe, I should take it slow. They never said that they didn't want to follow me. I might still have a chance. In any case, I want to build my forces on this continent. When the Misty South Palace grows strong enough, it should be able to attract the three. By then, hopefully, it will not be too late, ' Ricky thought to himself.

"Perhaps, our relationship won't be as simple as just being fighting partners,” Henry said meaningfully, dropping his voice lower as he exchanged glances with his friends.

"Oh? I don't understand what you mean,” Ricky said. His eyebrows raised in puzzlement.

"Ricky, when we were in the ancestral land of our tribe, we made a unanimous decision. We have decided to follow your lead,” Henry replied in the next breath. No hesitation showed on his face. "What? Follow my lead?!" Ricky repeated, sputtering the words back with incredulity. His eyes widened abruptly, expressing the complete and utter shock caused by Henry's words.

Yet, in the meantime, Ricky thought to himself, “God! I can't believe my luck! I just thought that the three could be my men in the future, and the next second, my wish came true!"

Despite his joy in hearing such good news, Ricky was still confused about the reasons behind their decision. To his ears, it seemed too sudden and hasty.

Even though Ricky gave up the heritage of the Massacring Holy Ant tribe, that shouldn't have been enough reason for them to follow his lead. Moreover, judging by Henry's tone, Ricky was sure that they were serious about their decision.

"You heard me right! We want to follow you from the bottom of our hearts,” Henry repeated. Hearing Henry's affirmation, Ricky calmed down. Slowly, he said, "Henry, to be honest, I did have the idea of taking you three under my wing. However, I am quite surprised when you mentioned it yourself just now. So, I want to know the reason.”

"Ricky, you're honest. If it were anyone else, he would never admit that he thought of accepting us as his subordinates. Due to your honesty, we can't be wrong in our decision to follow you." Henry smiled as he spoke.

"There are two reasons for our decision.

The first is that you let us know the truth. And you even gave us the ancestral land of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe. This is a great grace for us. You won our hearts through such a simple action," Henry explained further.

"We may be a little extreme when it comes to certain things, but we still know we should repay your grace."

"Ha-ha, it seems that winning your trust is my best reward from this trip to the Land of Legacy," Ricky said. A slight smile appeared on his face as he regarded the three men.

However, he waited for them to continue. Something in his gut told him that it was because of the following reason that the three decided to follow him.

"The second reason obligates us to follow you,” Henry continued. With those words, he confirmed Ricky's suspicions.

"Oh? "The reason that obligates you to follow me? I'd like to hear it." Curiosity tinged Ricky's reply. Unconsciously, he leaned closer to better hear their explanation.

"It is because of the ancestral land of our tribe," Henry added.
