Chapter 705 The Sense of Realm

The battle between the Evil Emperor and the Luxurious Emperor was well-known to all. The Luxurious Emperor had been famous for many years, but his popularity and glory were tarnished after his defeat at the hands of the Evil Emperor. The battle's aftermath was an indication of the Evil Emperor's immense power.

The Bright Emperor was just as powerful as the Luxurious Emperor, so he would by no means have the capacity to beat the Evil Emperor. As such, the Bright Emperor was forced to leave upon recognizing the Evil Emperor's presence.

None among Ricky, Jasper and the rest of the disciples had ever imagined that the Evil Emperor would wait over a year for them in that particular place. It made them question what his real intentions were.

The Evil Emperor's answer to their question was simple: Ricky and Jasper had become among the most hated people of all the other forces. Thus, once they made a mistake, disciples from opposing forces would try to hunt them both down and use all of their strength to kill them.

This was not a very difficult problem for Jasper, because at present, he was already able to beat a few completed spiritual kings.

On the other hand, Ricky found himself in quite a pinch. He had not yet been able to defeat any powerful upper spiritual king.

The commotion in the land of legacy finally came to an end after Ricky and Jasper left the area. Unfortunately, a storm was taking place as a result of the earlier commotion.

Ricky had obtained the heritage of the Massacring Holy Ant tribe, while Jasper had obtained the heritage of the Massacring Holy Tiger tribe. As such, they naturally drew the attention of all the forces within the entire Eastern Land.

Of course, all the forces after them would cast greedy eyes on the heritages of two holy tribes that they possessed. The heritages appealed especially to the demi-spiritual-emperor forces. Once they obtained the heritage of a holy tribe, they were very likely to transform into a spiritual-emperor force.

This only meant that, although Jasper had the upper hand over Ricky, he was still at risk. The demi- spiritual-emperor forces and spiritual-emperor forces would be even more tempted to dispatch the powerful demi-spiritual emperors in their attempt to kill Ricky and Jasper.

Meanwhile, the strong momentum of the two talented disciples had already spread to all the places as quickly as a tornado.

Despite the fact that they were all at the same level of strength, Jasper had beaten four people from the alliance—Nestor, Jefferson and two princes from the Eastern Empire. It wasn't until then that the warriors got word of why some completed spiritual kings could not beat Jasper.

They also knew that Jasper was sure to make a breakthrough and become a completed spiritual king after he returned to Oriental College at this particular timing.

Ricky behaved in an even more overbearing manner. He even brought the princess of the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce under his control and made her his woman. Such scandalous news was communicated to every place quickly.

It was not difficult to imagine how badly the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce was humiliated because of Ricky's actions.

It was as if they were slapped squarely in the face.

"How could Ricky act so recklessly? Didn't he know that he would drive the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce mad by doing this?" "I wonder whether he has the confidence to resist the burning fury from the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce. Or perhaps, he has just lost his head.” What Ricky had done to Pearl was still a hot topic among the warriors

"Of course, he greatly relies on the support from the spiritual emperors in Oriental College. Otherwise, he would not have acted in such an overbearing manner despite the fact he is an ace genius. After all, the dignity of spiritual emperors could not be challenged by any creature.”

"Let's wait and see. I don't think the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce would just sit by without doing anything. Maybe they will demand that Ricky let go of Pearl, or maybe they will give Ricky ten million gold coins and the cultivation resources of two spiritual space tools in exchange for his conditions. As the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce was mentioned, many warriors fixed their eyes on the chamber.

They were curious to see what the decision of the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce would be. After going back to Oriental College, Ricky and Jasper visited the Oriental Emperor to report on what it was that they had done.

Of course, the Oriental Emperor was excited to hear that they both had obtained the heritages of two holy tribes respectively. He encouraged the two disciples to spare no efforts in cultivating their martial arts. Not quite strangely, though, was how his tone sounded like he had already viewed Ricky and Jasper as the future leaders of Oriental College.

As the disciples of Oriental College, Ricky and Jasper understood that they had to make certain their contributions to the college while they were being protected by it. Therefore, they were willing to give part of the Massacring Sand and the Massacring Soil they had painstakingly obtained to the college.

Jasper had obtained the heritage of Massacring Holy Tiger tribe, a tribe not inferior to the Massacring Holy Ant tribe. The members of the tribe were considered the most suitable cultivators of the massacring power. Since Jasper had obtained their heritage, he had gotten the Massacring Soil.

Unfortunately, the Oriental Emperor accepted only the Massacring Sand. He didn't accept the Massacring Soil from the two disciples.

The Oriental Emperor's personal opinion was that, the Massacring Soil was a very rare and valuable object that could only be possessed by its pre-destined owner. Since Ricky and Jasper had gotten it, it should belong to the two of them, so they didn't have to share it with anybody else.

Meanwhile, the reason why the Oriental Emperor accepted the Massacring Sand was because he discovered that they had obtained a large portion of the Massacring Sand

In this manner, Ricky and Jasper would surely begin to have a stronger sense of belonging in Oriental College.

"You both have greatly improved your power because of your trip to the land of legacy. There is no doubt about this, but I don't want you to start feeling self-contented and slack off during your training or in any of your succeeding battles. This is because there will be an opportunity for innate spiritual kings to become innate spiritual emperors in the next few years," the Oriental Emperor said seriously after discussing what had happened in the land of legacy.

"Are you referring to the confrontation that involves fighting over the Sense of Realm?" the Evil Emperor chipped in in a flat tone.

"Sense of Realm?" Ricky mumbled to himself in confusion.

Beside him, Jasper didn't look confused at all. Instead, his eyes flickered a strong blaze of determination. Obviously, he had quite an idea of what the Sense of Realm was.

"Exactly, I really meant the Sense of Realm!" the Oriental Emperor answered eagerly while nodding his head.

"Ricky, the so-called Sense of Realm is a product of the supreme enlightenment between heaven and earth. A spiritual king cannot become a spiritual emperor unless he has comprehended the supreme enlightenment. During the final assessment of a spiritual king's path to a spiritual emperor, the Sense of Realm is one of the methods used just for that endeavor.

Once you successfully acquire the Sense of Realm, you can use its power to comprehend the supreme enlightenment with more ease. Then, it will be easier for you to become a spiritual emperor.

Ricky, a realm could only accommodate a certain number of strong people. The number is limited. The supreme enlightenment is limited through the Sense of Realm,” the Evil Emperor cautioned. "Within the universe, the creatures who are spiritual emperors or above are those who have obtained the Sense of Realm.”

To help the two understand and conceptualize the Sense of Realm even better, the Evil Emperor added, "Take yourself as an example. You're an ace genius, and yet it is currently almost impossible for you to become a spiritual emperor unless you possess the Sense of Realm.”

"I didn’t know about the Sense of Realm. And I didn't know how important it is until today!" Ricky said in surprise after hearing the explanations from the Oriental Emperor and the Evil Emperor.

He had thought that he would become a supreme strong warrior once he got hold of both opportunity and comprehension of all the abilities he needed and possessed.

"That's true. It's very important. Since you are currently residing within the realm, you have to be accepted by the realm before you reach the peak of martial arts,” the Evil Emperor added.

"Do you know why I left for a few dozen years? That was all because I missed the fight for the Sense of Realm in the Eastern Land. I had no choice but to go to some realms in the Middle Land to take part in the fight for the Sense of Realm. Only when I finally obtained the Sense of Realm that I successfully became a spiritual emperor.”

"I see!" Ricky expressed, nodding his head enthusiastically.

"Within the territories of our Eastern Land, upper spiritual kings and completed spiritual kings are qualified to participate in the fight for the Sense of Realm. You both are lucky enough. And so, from here forth, the battle for the Sense of Realm will be the most important step that you must consider in your path if you truly desire to become spiritual emperors,” the Evil Emperor concluded.

Ricky asked, "If that is the case, when will the fight for the Sense of Realm take place?”

"The time for the battle is not yet finalized. Maybe, three years later, or maybe even five. That's because it involves the nature's mystery. On the brighter side, the battle is a sure plan. It will take place, sooner or later. The battle for the Sense of Realm will commence as soon as the Sense of Realm of all the spiritual-emperor forces in the whole Eastern Land comes into being," the Oriental Emperor answered and clarified for Ricky.

A high level of anticipation shone brightly in the eyes of both the Oriental Emperor and the Evil Emperor. Both of them had more than enough confidence in Ricky's and Jasper's abilities and true capacities. The Oriental Emperor and the Evil Emperor both trusted that Ricky and Jasper were competent enough to successfully obtain the Sense of Realm.
