Chapter 824 Five-Poison Mutant

"I'm still not sure. I don't think Clark will be easily defeated. He hasn't delivered his ace card yet,” Ricky said. "It's still hard to say who will be the ultimate winner. It will be the best for us, though, if both sides are hurt.”

"Clark, I believe you didn't get it right. Do you really think I'll still give the Sense of Realm to you under such circumstances?" Andrea taunted with a smirk on his face.

"Let me get it straight for you. I intend to kill you. After all, we both know the best way to stay safe is to kill all your enemies, especially one such as you, a warrior with an outstanding talent in both pill and poison refining.”

"Andrea, you'd better not drive me up the wall,” Clark said. "I can leave the Sense of Realm to you and also help you refine pills. I can be very helpful to you.

If you have a pill refiner like me on your side, it will be really easy for you to dominate the Star Continent. Even ten continents if you wish so!"

Andrea laughed out loud. "I do only care about the Star Continent. Besides, Clark, it's really risky for me to have someone like you by my side.”

Once he was done, Andrea nodded at Colin.

Howl! All of a sudden, the Void Beast roared. Rather fast, it started to gather the heavenly power with its sharp claws. As it collected the scorching magma, it struck at Clark intending to tear him into pieces.

This double attack was a great combo to be used against Clark.

Fortunately for him, though, Clark had quite many Fire-resisting Pills. Even so, he wasn't keen on taking any more risks and quickly took two more pills before he could be swatted. Thanks to the pills, he would be able to resist the heat.

Since the first issue had been contained, Clark focused on gathering his strength now in order to block the attack from the Void Beast.

Boom! However, the moment he was struck he retreated a few steps. His strength hadn't been powerful enough to shield himself from the Void Beast's attack. Now, Clark heaved heavily trying to fill his lungs with fresh air.

That was expected, though. The heavenly power released by the Void Beast was too strong. Creatures at the same rank could rarely beat it. And Clark's blood and energy's level had already started to plump.

"If I had to fight against this Void Beast, I wouldn't have the slightest chance of winning. Therefore, Clark will definitely lose this battle if he doesn't do something soon. Let's see what kind of card he's got up his sleeve," Ricky said.

"It should be the pills that can enhance strength!” Tina speculated.

"Hey, Clark, just throw in the towel. If you do so, I can guarantee you a quick death along with an entire corpse for the sake of the cooperation we once had. Otherwise, you'll have no choice but meet your demise inside this beast's belly,” Andrea sneered.

"Andrea, since you're so heartless, don't blame me for being ruthless in return!” Clark's tone changed to piercing cold.

Suddenly a poisonous black mist surrounded Clark's entire body. As the toxin expanded, wrapping the whole space around him, even the burning magma began to retract further away.

"Clark's toxin had increased a lot. But unfortunately, in this Explosion Core, the Void Beast still has the upper hand," Ricky stated.

"Clark, you are really a master of poison! If your toxin gets anywhere near my body, I'm afraid my cultivation of martial arts will be ruined. This only assures me that I made the right decision to kill you," Andrea said gravely upon the realization that Clark's poison was even stronger than he had anticipated.

"Don't worry. Soon you'll get to feel my poison, and then you'll regret still being alive,” Clark replied sternly.

"Humph! How dare you say such a nonsense!" Colin sneered, quickly lifting his hands to draw a seal. A mark instantly showed between his eyebrows. However, it wasn't a mutant mark.

The eyes of the Void Beast changed rapidly. They had become duller, but also gorier. It was clear that now Colin had utter control over the beast.

"Okay, I got it. This is impressive. Colin is a beast tamer! I've met an opponent like him before,” Ricky murmured. Due to his past experience, he naturally understood how Colin was able to control the Void Beast.

"A beast tamer!" Pearl and Tina blurted astonished.

They both knew what a beast tamer was. However, they were shocked that Colin was one. This sort of warrior was even rarer than a casting master or a pill refiner.

In order to be a beast tamer, one should have a special spiritual meridian.

"Colin is unfathomable. If he had shown his trump card in the fighting over the Void Cell, I'm afraid we wouldn't have passed it successfully,” Ricky muttered.

"I think he was afraid that you would run and tell Clark his secret,” Tina speculated.

"You are a beast tamer!" Clark glared at Colin.

"Yes, thank God. I have a spiritual meridian which enables me to be a beast tamer. Throughout all these years of cultivation, I've finally made this Void Beast more powerful than I am,” Colin admitted proudly.

"The flesh and blood of the Void Beast also hold a lot of the heavenly power. I must thank you for sharing that with me!” Clark bared his teeth in a vicious grin.

Boom! Shortly, the poisonous mist surrounding him divided into five black clouds. They quickly shifted into five shapes, imprinting themselves all over his face.

On his forehead, there were three marks—a snake, a scorpion and a centipede. While on each side of his cheeks, the shapes of a gecko and a toad were imprinted respectively.

Yet the changes didn't stop at then. Suddenly, the power of the mutant also arouse from his body. "It's the power of the mutant!" Ricky exclaimed in shock.

"This means the Jiang Clan gave Clark the qualification to get into the Heavenly Void because he has a mutant all along!" Pearl inferred a bit in awe as well.

"His mutant must be of the poisonous kind. I just didn't figure out which one exactly," Ricky whispered, staring at Clark.

"Those five marks represent five kinds of poison. It seems that the mutant Clark owns is a Five- Poison Mutant. No wonder his poisons are so strong and powerful,” Tina explained.

"Five-Poison Mutant! This is also one of the top mutants!" Ricky consulted.

"That's right. The Five-Poison Mutant is definitely among the top, which is not inferior to the Sandy Mutant,” Tina replied.

"In this case, Clark has a great talent then. But he still didn't become a completed spiritual king until his blood vitality started to decrease. I guess he's really wasted most of his time on women," Ricky said lightly.

"Mutant? Humph! You have a mutant!" Colin muttered coldly when he saw the change in Clark. Andrea had also narrowed his eyes toward the scene, not slightly pleased with it.

"Andrea, what do you think of my mutant? I hope my Five-Poison Mutant didn't disappoint you. Or does my trump card scare you?" Clark sneered as his body released the ferocious toxin.

"The Five-Poison Mutant is indeed a powerful mutant.” Andrea nodded. "But since it's owned by you, an old guy who wastes too much of his time playing with women, it's just a great loss.”
