Epperly has been talking with her father for over an hour. She kept the bond open, like she always does, and I was extremely thankful. “Azai, shut the f**k up. I asked her to do this in case I need it for my mate or son.” I growled out.

Azai narrowed his eyes at Olive and me.

“I don’t believe you.” He stated.

I threw my arm up.

“For f**k’s sake.” I grumbled and then looked up at Olive. “Can we be done? I need to go get Epperly.” I asked.

Olive sighed.

“We can be done for now. Come back tomorrow. By then we can do this without the third degree.” She said as she looked at my brother.

Azai grumbled as Olive took the needle out of my arm.

“Azai, do you think you could take these to my house for me?” I asked my brother.

Azai’s eyes went wide and he threw his hands up.

“You and MY mate are doing some secretive s**t, and now YOU want me to do you favors?” He asked.

I nodded.

“As always, thank you Olive.” I said and then went to find my mate.

He nodded. “I’ll be there for the announcement.” He said with a smile.

I frowned. “You told him?” I asked.

Epperly nodded. “I couldn’t help it. I’m so excited. And he’s gonna be a grandpa, again.” She said.

Kiah is smiling brightly. I can only imagine what it has been like for the both of them. I’m still angry about everything he did wrong when it came to his daughter, but I should work on letting it go. All I want is for Epperly to be happy.

“Alright, well, we have a few things to finish up at home before everyone shows up.” I told my mate.

“Okay, bye…” Epperly trailed off. “Uhm, should I call you Dad?” She asked Kiah.

Kiah looked a bit shocked. I wonder if he expected Epperly to forgive him so fast. He shook off the shock and a wide smile spread across his face.

“Okay, bye Dad. See you later.” Epperly said and started to walk away.

“I take it things went well?” I asked as we decended the stairs.

“Oh yeah? Like what?” I asked as we walked out of the school.

“Wait.. Where is Tate?” She asked me.

“With Tia and Max and all his least favorite cousins.” I told her.
