He was willing to pay whatever was necessary to have the files and blueprints back.

Hours passed, but Wallace still couldn’t relax enough to sleep.

On the other hand, Rachel held Joey all night long till morning.

Rachel almost passed away when she gave birth to the boy.

She had lived a depressing life for a period of time.

She made it a routine to go for a jog first thing in the morning so that she could maintain her fitness.

It was early in the morning.

There was a buzzing noise in the room.

Joey woke up, flipped over, and silenced his watch’s vibration.

He programmed this alarm clock last night.

The time was six in the morning.

As Joey looked over the bed, he couldn’t see Rachel.

He sat up and wiped his eyes.

He strolled out onto the balcony after putting on the coat he found on his pillow.

When he reached the balcony and glanced down, he saw Rachel running back.

Rachel looked up, surprised to find him there.

“What’s up with the early rise today?”

“After having a dream, I awoke.”

Rachel’s heart sank a bit.

She brought him to a psychiatrist the last time he experienced nightmares.

He had stopped having nightmares ever since that happened.

Since he had awakened from a dream, she assumed that he was having nightmares again.

“It is chilly outdoors.

Go back inside.

I promise to show up shortly,”

Rachel said softly.

Joey gave a nod in response.

He cast an offhand look at the metal gate.

No one was visible to him in the dim light.

Pressing his Lips, he checked the time one more time before returning inside.

Rachel got back to her room quickly.

She felt the warmth of the boy’s forehead with the back of her hand.

His fever was within the usual range.

It seemed his nightmare didn’t make him sweat.

Rachel let out a sigh of relief.

“Did you experience a nightmare?”

“I can’t put my finger on it.” Joey shook his head.

“Don’t worry.

I’m perfectly fine.

I simply got enough sleep.”

“Are you experiencing any distress?”
