“I have no idea,” Rachel replied, creasing her eyebrows.

Quintin was about to hang up and reconnect to the call, but then he heard Rachel speak, so he stopped before he could press the button.

Rachel clicked on the document and the password prompt window popped up again.

This time, she entered the password: 1003.

“Password correct.”

The popup message came into her sight.

Not long after, the contents of the document was loaded and everything was displayed before her.

By the time Lila finished cleaning up the house, she found that it was already four in the afternoon.

After taking a quick look at the weather outside, she took off her apron and prepared to leave the house to buy food.

She went upstairs to tell Rachel about her departure.

Upstairs, Rachel was focused at her computer screen like she was looking at something important.

Lila looked away at once.

Just when she was about to leave, she suddenly heard Rachel say, “Lila, where’s Joey?”

“Oh, he’s resting in his room.”

Rachel turned her gaze to Lila and nodded.

“You know how to drive, right, Lila? It’s a bit cold outside, so why don’t you drive my car?”

Lila waved her hand in dismissal.

“That’s not necessary, ma’am.

The supermarket isn’t that far, so I don’t think I need to drive.”

Having said that, she smiled sheepishly and added, “Besides, I’ve only driven a few times.

I’m worried that I might just get scratches on your car by accident.”

Upon hearing her answer, Rachel turned back to her computer and didn’t insist on her suggestion.

Five minutes later, Lila left the house with a basket in hand.

Unbeknownst to her, Joey followed her as soon as she walked out of the door.

He glanced at his watch and turned on his tablet to call himself a cab.

Twenty minutes later, a silver gray Honda stopped at the gate of a shooting club.

The backdoor was opened from the inside.

Joey stashed his tablet into his schoolbag, carried it on his back, got out of the car, and walked toward the club.

When he arrived at the club, one of the staff greeted him.

“Hello, kid.

I’m sorry, but you can’t come in here,” he said.

Joey stopped in his tracks to look him in the eye.
